I would have guessed 600. Ya'll get paid better on mixed than we do. I got my daughter liking to scrap now when we scored a bunch of aluminum window frames. That was a good payday!! Thanks for taking me along!

You pointed out the cans in the semi truck. There is a shooter that puts them all the way to the front when it's empty. Get a collection of cans and see if they will let you load them in the semi
Reminded me of my last trip to the recycle yard in South Windsor , Ct. with my Utility trailer being towed by my 1987 Crown Victoria wagon. When you folks travelled to Massachusetts to buy Steve Magnante's Ford Fairmont you were only 3 and one-half miles from my house at Exit 67 off of Interstate 84 in Connecticut. Sorry to have missed you.
Here's a tip separate all the alloy from the steel , sell that to them separately, anything steel under 3mm is normally classed as shred and is worth less than over 3mm is as its classed different again so it's best to separate them aswell , also if u take time to clean up the alloy so it's only just alloy it's worth more again
Where I live in PA our township usually has a spring clean up day where you can bring big items and like 1 or 2 tires. My dad always comes away with something! Weed eater, lawn mower, drill press. All kinds of things people throw away!
Dang man, never thought of blowing the back off of the water pump, that’s good to know but a really hard way to learn it. Glad you figured out the failure and glad you’ve got a rebuild plan 😮
i live up in maine near one of the canadian boarders, for a while there was this guy who would come from canada in a truck with a grapple on it. i sold him scrap metal from my yard at least 3 times, he would stop by when you had enough and buy it from you. otherwise i would have to haul it 75 miles and i dont have anything to do that with anyway.
You are right about the appliances. had to replace my washer 2 months ago as well. Still remember my old Kenmore lasting 20 years now lucky if get 5 years. That old horse trailer has sure earned her keep! Those Chinese 4 wheelers just drive them out of the store straight to the scrap yard.
Totally agree. This past weekend, my 34 year old Kenmore 's motor decided to let the smoke out. Found a new factory motor for $120. It's getting fixed.
I stopped it at 2.31 minutes in, my guess is 1250 lbs. My guess was way off. You need to learn to pack that trailer. LOL I have never see a scrap yard as nice as that one. WOW.
Are you used to scrap when I lived in Michigan?I said 780 pounds because I was looking at what you were pulling out from your trailer. So I knew pretty close about the roundabout.Where you were.
I was waàaay over at 1,160lbs but that was a fun little game. I do that myself when I do dump runs only with them you gotta pay so I'm always hoping it's less than I guess.😁
Ralphie are you and Wawa ever going to do a fan's Truck or Car fix with the hole family as help me save my old ride!!!! Just wandering have a picture of the family working on it and when they pick up? Not custom safe to drive for a minute !!!! Keep up the great work Love you Show!!!!
Dang, y'all got folks to help you at the yard in y'all's area? That's a pretty rare sight in my neck of the woods, in Mid Tenn. Wilson county to be precise
Watched this after my Indepance Day Trip. Ate great food with family, doged the rain for a bit of shooting, put about 100 rounds through my Smith and Wesson FPC 9MM and great conversaitions. My best to you and your family!
Hola sleeperdude! Todos tus videos me alegran muchísimo! De tu canal principal y este canal secundario! Soy muy grato por haberme encontrado con tus videos 😊 saludos y abrazos desde Paraguay ! Les deseo todo lo mejor siempre y para siempre 🎉
Dear Sleeperdude family. 👍👌👏 Well done. 2) Please kindly allow me to suggest some things: Because I like to dismantle all kinds of devices for recycling/upcycling and scrap art, I know exactly how much good stuff is for instance in a washing machine (especially the electric motor and electric wires). But also a lot of screws/bolts/washers/springs. Therefore I suggest that you first let for instance Ralphie dismantle devices you want to scrap. Because instead of using brand new washers/bolts/nuts etc. for his great welding art, he could easily use recycled stuff. 3) If you sort your scrap, you will definitely earn more money! The washing machine alone is worth more than common scrap metal (even if not dismantled). Brake rotors, drums and other cast iron parts and spring steel bring more money too. Aluminium anyway and copper especially. Even more if you dismantle the electric wires. I bet that Ralphie likes to dismantle stuff (at least I like it very much). The positive side effects are, that he learns something by doing so and that you all earn more money at the scrapyard. As always: Thanks a lot for making explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards luck and especially health to all of you.
It's a all win situation! One, you cleaned up some junk eye sores, two, you may not have filled up your truck, but, you did make more that what you used. Three an educational family outing, and four, you recycled, and the commodities didn't end up in the land fill! Oh, and no telling how much this video will earn you! Certainly, enough to fill the tuck a few times! See, no matter what you make a video of, We the People, are gonna watch it! Great Family!!!
I was leaning towards 7-800 and it cracks me up every time I ever took anything off to the dump I always had to call it 😂 Yup I remember that bumper and that carburetor 🤣 and so on , Loved the power tour video thank you so much.
You could get more money if you sorted it and cleaned it like take plastic off radiators or metal off radiators and ac coils pull copper out you would be surprised to find out what has copper in it and where I live it 3.00 a lb and over most new washers and dryers have aluminum windings in the motors not worth pulling apart long iron tin and short iron have different prices short iron brings more my local scrap yard can’t be over 3’ square and O’Reilly gives you 10.00 a battery credit for every battery
Reminds me an old (mid 70's) Saturday Night Live sketch. Dan Akroyd was the refrigerator repair man giving Jane Curtin the bad news that her Norge refrigerator was un-repairable. "We can't even get parts for these old things anymore." Jane turns to Gilda Radner and says "Oh, dear. It seems like everything's dying around here. First your father, now the Norge." Good job on the guess, Ralphie!

I don't know exactly what was wrong with that washer you could have put it on Marketplace for free it would help a family out but I know some people ain't mechanically inclined and can't fix things but if they had somebody in thier family or friends to fix fer them it would helpthem out or they could have scrapped themselves had a few extra dollars fer some groceries or something. I myself have I've gotten. Washers and dryers off of Facebook marketplace for free they were broken, I fixed them had them for years
