The DAS pass sounds like such a great accommodation for those who need it!
Absolutely! And we’re very excited to hear that it’s going digital. - Brandon
My son has Pachygyria & Cerebral Palsy and this is really great information to know. I've been wanting to take him to Disney World! Thank you for sharing this!

this was so helpful thank you for your terrific review on DAS pass! I am approved for the DAS system at Magic Kingdom next month. Wasn’t sure exactly how to use it for some rides. Thank you for clearing some of those things up!👍
So happy that this information was helpful for you, Diana. If you have additional questions, just ask. - Brandon
Thank you so much!
You’re so welcome, Stephanie. We appreciate you watching. Disney will be adding this to the app virtually soon - so stay tuned for an updated video. - Brando n

Wonderful video - thank you!
Mom & Dad rented ECV’s for our upcoming trip. Both are unable to stand/walk for short and prolonged periods of time. We paid extra for the Genie+ so I’m hopeful that will help with the “not having to wait AS long” aspect.
My Question: Would you say they qualify for DAS? I know not everyone does and it’s based off each individuals needs. Based off many videos I’ve watched, people have stated it’s more so for individuals who may be (example: Autistic) and would therefore struggle with having to wait in queue for such a lengthy time. However, with Mom and Dad, they physically can’t stand in even the Lightening Lane. They’d have to use their scooters in queue and I don’t think a lot of rides allow for that, correct?
I know not every ride has ECV access to wait online. That you have to leave the vehicle aside in a roped off area.
Hoping someone can give me some detailed information on the subject. I’ve done a ton of research on UA-cam but being my question is so specific I haven’t gotten a clear answer. I called Disney directly and after waiting on the phone and the online chat queue I had to eventually hang up and disconnect. Called at 11 AM and hung up at 4:30 PM. Had to get ready for work eventually 😅 thanks in advance all! 💕
I would actually reach out to Disney directly as it does sound like DAS might be a better option for you. You can now apply for DAS 30 days to 2 days before your visit virtually by talking with a cast member. I know that Universal has wheelchairs that all ECV guests transfer to (that are unable to stand or walk) at each queue. Yes, I’ve been trying for days with no luck unfortunately. Wait times exceeding 5+ hours. Thanks for responding, much appreciated!
Let's say MK opens at 8:00 AM... but obviously they let people into the park a bit earlier than that, just can't get on the rides until 8:00 AM. Will City Hall be open before 8:00 to get this done early before official "rope drop?"
Can you do this at your hotels or anywhere outside the parks when you arrive before your first park day?
Hi, Ashley! City Hall is open when they begin letting guests through the turnstiles. But you can now register before you leave. Woohoo! Here’s the link for more info: disneyworld.disney.go.com/guest-services/disability-access-service/register/
@@MagicLampVacations Thank you! I've heard its super hard to do ahead of time and people are holding for literal days. Nervous but I will try it!!
@@ashleyconover7829 First thing in the morning or at night usually works best with the least wait.
You can do it via chat through the app I think 30 days b4
So I’ll admit it… I’m just plain fat, I have a crappy diet and get zero exercise… that’s what got me here. As a result, I have high blood pressure, gout and diabetes. So I will need a scooter at Disney to get around. Sounds like I don’t qualify for DAS, but I can’t stand in long lines either. Serves me right though, as this is my own fault. Years of over indulging in food without one iota of discipline and zero exercise due to laziness as a slacker and freeloader. I also have a lot of pent-up hostility which causes me to drive my scooter with a confrontational attitude and arrogance through and around pedestrians. On second thought, maybe I shouldn’t go. Also, you should know that I voted for Donald Trump. Really nice video though. You have a flair and verve for this kind of presentation. Best wishes. 😵💫
Please don't beat yourself up with guilt or shame, Graftonreed. We are all on our own journeys to growing and loving ourselves. You're special, unique, and loved just because you were born. You deserve to have all of your wishes to come true -- no matter what they are. Much love to you and your family and thank you for watching. - Brandon
