great vid. mine ws almost perfect minus small scratch, tiny paint problem, and i ahve about an inch that is showing bare metal. no paint whatsoever. hoping rsi will get back to me asap

They seemed to be super responsive when I reached out to them, bummer about the scratch, should all be stainless steel hopefully a little touch up paint and it won't be noticeable or maybe they can provide a new section to replace it.

Great tutorial - I just ordered the same cap for my 2022 Tremor. Question: did you hook up the 3rd brake light on the cap?
Douglas, I did install the third brake light, it was much easier than I thought they provide the correct OEM connector with a T- off so all the connections match and are water tight!
If you see my leak fix video, I did re-seal One of the window gaskets (actually a side door gasket) after finding a bit of Water coming in, it was an easy fix, it is also important to seal the caps at the end of the bed too, as they will let water in, video below.
My cap has been through some major storms with no leaks at all, these caps are fantastic!

Nice video👍 does your cab back view camera next to cab lights works for the cab?
The cap has a small window built-in to let the cab light through to the inside of the cap! A nice feature.
As far as cameras they all work and the 360 view still works as it should
Very very nice! Do they make it for the 6.5' box on the regular cab shorty? (I think yours is a 5.5 but I may be wrong)
They have a fitment list on their website, year by year, and different size beds, manufacturers change their bed designs quite often, so best to check their site.
I really think they have a great quality product! Yes, my bed is the 5.5

Yes all keys are the same!!! My guess is each lock came with two keys, so they include them all!
You mentioned adding a bedding inside. Can you open the latch from inside.
NO! and that is a bit of a bummer, I use a Tailgate tent so when I'm in it, the cap is open. this is something they should address, seems like a bit of a safety issue. I could probably reach the outside latches on the sides through he widow, but I have not tried that

Hello, I was wondering how tall is the opening from tailgate to where the top door opens. Just trying to figure out how tall my cart can be to fit in there.
39" from the tailgate to the low point of the top.
Can you get them with insulation? Must be a deep freeze in cold weather.
They do not come insulated, but it would be super easy to make it so, they even have threaded mounting holes in the top so you could add an insulated roof panel that could be removable.

Can you open and close the tailgate while keeping the hatch closed?
I had to go check! Yes the tailgate opens with the hatch is shut.

@@ChrisWilliams8301 no problem, one thing to not is that the cap can not be unlocked from the inside, unless you were to reach out one of the windows.
You also cannot lock it from the inside so.... chances are you won't get locked in.

I think only 2015 through current model years, but it would be worth an email to them to ask, they are super responsive!

I would send them a note from their website, they are super responsive, it may be more a question if they have the brake light adapter for your truck. They have always gotten back to me within 24,hrs
will not fit a 14. Only 15- current

Money can buy a truck but it cannot buy good neighbors. If you are a shitty person, there will be no people to help you. Sure you can pay people to do it for you but those are not neighbors, are they? But the kind sir in this video is a good guy as we can see from the way his neighbors gathered to help him solve his problem. The problem he had was to put a shell on his truck. Might as well have bought an Expedition. Not a true trucker as people would say in the good state of Alabama.
