This actually kinda talked me out of getting the smartcap for my Tremor also. For a premium price, you should be getting a premium product and experience.
Thanks ! I haven’t measured but I would say a good amount. The cap probably adds about 12-16 inches give per take. I can stack 2 big kayaks on top of one another. If I stand up it comes about to my waist
I just assembled mine this afternoon, and I can completely understand why you think you needed to dremel out those holes. However, that just means you didn't have everything lined up. With a lot of cussing and muscle, the holes will align and there will be no need to dremel anything.
@@DownstreamV Not without a lot of swearing and sweating! I found that I was able to get the screws started all along and then as I tightened it would pull the holes in alignment. Also using a clamp helped a lot. Now I just have to get this thing up on the truck.

My side windows actually started leaking 2 weeks later also. So yea. Not worth the price.
@@DownstreamV damn, that’s a bummer. I’m looking at RLD toppers now. I like the ARE body colored ones, but I want the weight capacity for a RTT.
Nice looking setup! I have a 2021 Ranger as well. How many vertical inches do you have from bed to inside the cap roof?

How bad is the visibility in the back and what's your fuel economy with it?
Fuel economy didn’t change.
Visibility isn’t zero but it’s not good necessarily.
It looks like in front this cap looses like 2-3inches of space, compared to many other toppers?

Nice 👍
Does the product come with a plug and play harness? Or gotta splice in to vehicle harness? I have a 2022 ranger tremor with blind spot sensing
It is plug and play
Did you have to drill anything to mount the brackets in the bed?
You will need to get the bed liner out but no not any new holes.
Is this 5ft bed?
Yes
Is there any leaks?
After while it starts to leak
what’s the rack you have called?
It’s just the Thule rack made for the ranger
