A powerful video. It made me realize how easy I had it. My crisis came three days after I was (finally correctly) diagnosed with colitis. So a few hours later my colon was taken out. This was before j pouches and BCIR's had been "invented" (if that is the correct term) so I have had an ileostomy for over 40 years now. Colitis is such a horrible condition. I was free of it.
