Happy Valentines Day everyone (well 1am the day after actually), anyway just thought it was fitting to say it here because this really is a great love song, not about all the mushy stuff like flowers & choccies but about 2 people trying to make it real & stay togethor thru the tough times, for better or for worse, thats real love.

This song is just pure, old-school quality. You dont get songs like this these days. A song with a story and a message that no matter how broken things are, they can always be fixed. This song was unlucky to only peak at #14. Paul deserves every cent he's made.

Too right it is
A song with hope that broken things can be mended, that things can be OK again one day, that we can live and learn and forgive, about TRUE love that gives people chances. You don't hear songs or see stories with those kinds of things in them in pop culture today. It's all about revenge, breaking free, following fickle whims and labelling them as "passion".
Several of Pauls songs have this hope and proper love to them, it will moisten my eye when I think about that as I listen to the songs.

Only heard this after moving to perth a few years ago..they do not in any way make em' like they used to..lovely stuff.

This track is at least 30 years old, that being when I heard it first. It is superb and will never fade.
