I don't know about the Super Formula race I couldn't get better than 8th place, what has happened to Gran Trismo 7? First we had the introduction of BoP races, which I can't get any better than last place, what is the point o doing tunes when you are penallsed for it? Please somebody comment on this idiocy!!
What's the point in taking the weight off and promptly putting 200 ballast back on doesn't make any sense at all plus with all the upgrades on all your doing is inviting the developers to put a stop to it. But if that's the way you wanna play it then go for it and wait for my I told you so post. 😊
So first off you aren't having issues with the weekly challenges. That's great. I make these videos to help those who struggle with these types of events and provide builds people can copy to make their experience easier. But instead you are making smart comments which you didn't need to do so I'm convinced this is a hate post. With that out of the way let me answer your question. I take the weight off so the car is overall lighter than it was before and so I can put the weight all the way to the rear, getting it closer to a 50/50 weight distribution. The car will handle better and will be able to put more power to the ground without breaking traction. Works great for high powered front bias cars. And put a stop to what? Tuning a car for a race with upgrades? That sounds silly. Since Gran Turismo 1 and every other series after it, you can tune your car how you want even with upgrades. They always had non restricted and restricted events coexisting so I'm not sure what you are getting at by saying "they will put a stop to it". If you have an issue with that stick to BoP online races and don't worry about how others play the game. Looks like i'll be waiting for a lifetime for your "I told you so post"
Willow springs is already a tire shredder and attention demanding course, throw some stupid rally cars on it and now you have a drivebombing nightmare of a track. Dont turn and brake because the car will commit suicide.
I dont know why, but that Super Formula race kicked my ass.
