Super helpful video and instructions! Just what I needed. Cheers!
Glad it helped!
Very helpful.
Thanks for the advice as I'm going to attempt to change my spot light🎉
You got this!
Great explanation. Just replaced one of mine in no time.
Great to hear!
Very helpful. Thanks mate
Glad it helped
Found this and realised that I couldn't replace the bulb in my downlights as I have these integrated sockets in all bar about 2 of my downlights. Then you show how to find the K value which is exactly what I was after, killed 2 birds in one stone after 90 minutes going down rabbit holes on YT. Thanks!
Glad to help
Ah no 🤦🏻 I think I have the same problem, how much are these whole enclosure replacements?
What did you do after taking out all the cables from the connections? Did you put them back as they were or did you cut them a bit?
Do you have to yank it down? I am not trying to do anything with the wires only change the bulb.
Thanks
I have Ip65 lamps. Hw do you take the light fixture down, do you have to pull it from both sides? Also will i need a complete new set. Thanks
Thank you
You're welcome
I could just about hear you😊
I've a problem with these and not sure whether mine is just simple twist or pulled down type.
Snapping? How do you remove the clips from the ceiling????
Is there an easy way of telling if it’s an integrated LED? I’ve been trying to change the bulb in a fixture and it’s completely defeated me.
Hi Rob, if it’s not the integrated type the downlight will have either a twist and lock section holding the lamp in place, or a circular spring which you pinch and pull and the lamp comes down, another way to check is give the lamp a little push and if there’s any movement on the lamp it’ll be the type you can replace. I hope this helps
Surely if i only want to change the bulb i only have to change the bulb cable and not the actual cable that goes into the ceiling?
New downlights are integrated meaning they are fixed (no bulb)
