Thank you so much! The painter twisted the springs off several of my down lights and I couldn't figure out out to put them back on. After watching several 10 videos this was by far the best explaination on how these clips work and how to install them. Saved me 100€ bill from the electrician!

I spent an entire day scouring English UA-cam tutorial videos on how to get these darn clips to work [ i was just about to call the Ebay seller i bought them from before i found this video lol ] and here it is in a Russian video being demonstrated flawlessly by a guy speaking an alien language to me. I have no idea why the manufacturers / retailers of these products dont include a diagram in the instructions manual on how to fit them as im sure im not the only person that has got stuck when trying to install them and certainly wont be the last in the coming future! I salute you sir for making this video even though you probably cant understand what im saying right now! ; ]
l bought a very similar spot light that had no fitting instructions and this video was the only source that demonstrates accurately how to utilise the spring mechanism, well done and thank you!

Yes very clear instructions in theory but it's a whole different kettle of fish fitting into plasterboard than into wood, I don't know of many plywood ceilings
I love these clips, you pull the downlight out to paper or paint round it and then wreck the plaster board, try spinning it round a bit on an unwrecked bit of plasterboard but theres always a joist in the way, finally give in and resort to the silicone gun, i dont understand the language but your frustration with these dam things comes across, great video 🙂

After searching all over the place to figure out how to replace this type of spring, this video solved my problem!
