The barbarian scared the shit out of me as a kid. Now I am a 6 foot 1 218lbs man and I would still run away from him lol
I never thought Meng / Haku would be so soft spoken. In a world of angry shoots, ribbing, burying, and bitter grudges, this guy sounds like the nicest most down to earth person.
Everyone I’ve heard talk about him in podcasts and such said he’s the nicest guy you’d ever meet but you didn’t want to mess with him. Apparently he ripped a guy’s teeth out with his bare hands.

So much respect for Haku abd Barbarian. They are humble and dont feel the need to be otherwise. Yet when the situation arises, they can rip a person apart!

I like how neither Barbarian or Haku never say that they were so tough, or they kicked everybody's @$$ or all the other guys were scared of them etc. like Manny Fernandez and some others do.

Haku was absolutely on the money - it is the quiet ones that are often the toughest because they have nothing to prove.
Only because you don't know what to expect. Anybody who believes that its always the quiet ones that are the toughest prob lived a sheltered life bc I met plenty of loudmouths that could back it up.

I grew up w a couple of the Barbarian's sons and they were hands down the nicest people I've ever met. His wife was the nicest lady in the neighborhood and was always so welcoming and kind to everyone. His sons were also incredibly kind and were great friends. A few times I saw their rage when we were youngsters (neighborhood fights) and obviously no one wanted to mess with them lmao

I found it astounding that Haku's consideted tougher when Barbarian, at his juiced up prime was a beast.
Haku/King Tonga/ Meng was someone who should have had a fair shot at WWF/E Championship. He LITERALLY had all the "chops" to be WWF CHAMP. I think Stone Cold would have paused before stepping into the Ring with Haku if it was title-on -the line, neh?
Haku could have wiped floor with McMichaels, dumped Goldust, and probably blown JBL's kneecaps far away into the Sun. He would have just shut Brock into a farther degree of unable to related to normal human beings and I distinctly remember Haku body-slamming Hulk Hogan choke-style on a wwf saturday morning G-show.

The Faces Of Fear I would have given a Run with the WcW tag titles. I really enjoyed them as a tag team.
I seriously thought Haku was going to verify that when WWF portrayed them as reluctant partners in tag matches because “they don’t like each other”, it was all a work.

Haku must be the real deal whenever wrestler says he is toughest ever in the business with names like Harley race ken patera, Kurt angle , Andre the Giant and Manny And so many more and when a giant fears you it might mean you a bad man but his snap kicks and he moved like a little man and you could just see the power in a ufc style tournament in the WWF I think final four Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle, Haku , Harley Race some may question Race young fans but think this he picked up a young Ricky Steamboat by one arm by his trunks from the floor of the arena and picked up and over the rope then when he was older managing a young Butch Reed picked a fight with him and they said every punch he landed you heard and it buckled Butch Reed and he kicked his ass another like Haku and with punching power he would stand a chance of course I am saying in the final four a young Harley Race k all fighters in their prime it would be a great final four me

I don't get the what was your favorite match 25 years ago? Guys it's their work do you remember what you were doing at work 25 years ago I don't I could tell you what I did as in general of the job I was doing but not specifics.
