Brawl stars is arguably more f2p friendly than some some of supercell's other games and they also buffed f2p progression a bit when the new pass system was added, and the new free pass offers similar value to buying every second pass with the old system, which is what f2p players did before. Additionally, not having to buy the pass with gems frees them up for other purchases.
@@blags2I honestly disagree on this statement. Brawl stars is actually trying hard to help the community have a good time, despite the issues they have. The brawlers being a bit more strong was explained in a podcast and honestly you could remake the brawl stars part! But overall the video is very nicely done!
@Brawl_enjoyer Original comment is just prattling off the same script that all the shills on the brawlstars creator program have been reading as SC lines their pockets. The game has horrid progression and the new pass system is an active downgrade from the previous one because even if it matches the gain of the old system it doesn't account for the rising costs of upgrades and things you need to buy so that you can stand any inkling of a chance compared to fully maxed out characters. And this is intentionally to get players to spend more money or sink and unglody amount of time grinding terrible events to scrape together just barely enough.
@@Astraision It's still better than the older perogression system with boxes when you were completely at the mercy of rng, and you do progress faster than before, especially in the earlygame. Also, there have been times when they were very generous such as when they compensated us with way more gold than they needed to when they reworked gears (at least 50% more.
Great video, but I disagree (respectfully) with you on Brawl Star's pass. The new F2P pass gives overall more value than it's ever been before, and I actually like having gems freed up for skins. The exclusive brawler on the pass was the only reason I really spent gems on it in the first place, but now I'm actually motivated to save up for legendary skins and whatnot.

great video, though i disagree a bit with the brawl stars portion though since i don't think the playerbase is unhappy at all with supercell despite the game's monetization. but i honestly clicked on this and thought you had like 10k subs, its crazy how good your content is
As much as I love Brawl Stars I gotta agree with basically every point you made here. Speaking from the perspective of someone who plays every single day, and is also slightly p2w, the progression is pretty slow and it just doesn't seem that fair for the average player who doesn't spend money. I also agree with the fact that the new brawlers have been pretty broken recently (lookin' at you, L&L), and the idea of an early access bundle to get the OP new brawler for longer is just... Really upsetting. That said though, I don't think that the Brawl Stars dev team are really that bad. It honestly seems like they're the ones who care the most about their game and its community, and are at least TRYING to keep f2p progression somewhat fun. TL;DR : Yes Brawl Stars is kinda bad but it could definitely be a LOT worse.
I’ve been 100% F2P for over a year now and progression is actually pretty fast for me. I’m only missing about 10 or so brawlers and I can max one out about every 2 months. It can feel slow sometimes but that’s usually when there’s a lack of events or if I finished the free pass. The broken new brawlers can be annoying but I’m really bothered by them
I visibly do a neutral face when I open the shop for the daily freebie only to find out it’s just 10 power points (It takes around 2000 to upgrade one of my brawlers)! I stopped playing regularly because I can’t compete anymore.
Been a f2p player since 2019 (stopped playing for like 2 years tho) and I almost have every brawler in the game, they keep giving free legendary starr drops and double starr drops events which have increased my progression by so much, the brawl pass is way better for progression now, and I honestly think it’s fun. Well yes ik there’ll be some op brawler locked behind a pay wall for 2 weeks, as far as I’ve seen players aren’t spamming them, plus they aren’t difficult to unlock. Also they’re actually addressing issues such as mastery farmers, so I heavily disagree with about almost every point. The hardest struggle for me was upgrading brawlers, but since this new brawlers pass update I’ve gotten like 10 more level 11’s.
f2p progression is honestly the best its ever been, idk what u expected when progression is slow. brawl stars is a long term game, and you dont have to pay money to progress. Everything is free and isnt blocked by a pay wall or chance
I actually quit Clash of Clans SEVERAL years ago. I’m not sure if there was any one reason why I did so but resource management games did leave me pretty board after a while when I was a teen. You can only imagine how much game hopping I did.
I wouldn't say clash of clans is an entirely p2w game, even the builder apprentice thing, but where it goes p2w is the new equipments, like suppose 2 players, one p2w and the other f2p, they're both th 16 max So who's gonna be more stronger? The p2w player who maxed their equipments, cuz it's sooo hard to upgrade the equipments, and there being a lot of them makes it even harder So at that point, it's a p2w game now (mainly for competitive players, like u can't play competitively without paying)
All these games are getting to the point they're not making enough money so they have to make it to pay to win games which makes sense because I would panic also for losing the company at this point...
F2P progression didn't actually get nerfed when they changed the brawl pass to only be purchasable with money, because they did take into consideration how F2P's could buy the pass every two seasons, and they integrated that progression into the free side of the current pass. Although you're no longer able to get the pass skin, they did compensate by buffing coins and credits a bit. Also, typically op brawler releases aren't that bad for F2P players, because not many people buy the early access bundles (out of the tens of matches that I played since berry's pack was released, I only encountered him twice), and when the brawlers release for everyone, you can choose to unlock them over whoever you were unlocking, so getting the newer brawlers isn't that dificult.
The article doesn't really apply to this game, since there is no trading or other things like that. It's just your currency and your currency only, and in this case, buffing progression doesn't correspond with inflation, since it only allows player to upgrade their brawlers faster, but it doesn't necessarily make the currency useless. Obviously they can't just let you upgrade brawlers very quickly, since it's a core mechanic of the game, but a small progression buff benefits both the players and the company.
@@remusserediuc9896 inflation still happens when in game currency (including non-paid) get created at a quicker rate, irrespective of whether you can trade directly with other players. By buffing all passes (including f2p), the baseline level simply gets raised, making no difference. If you progress faster, along with all other f2p players, then it simply cancels out and everyone "feels" like they have made progress when in reality they're still in the exact same spot.
The thing is, getting a single brawler to power 11 isn't hard, and you start seeing maxed brawlers around as early as rank 20, so progression buffs don't leave you in the same spot because everyone who was overleveled are also getting buffed, since overleveling isn't an issue in the first place. It just allows you to max brawlers faster, letting you enjoy them with no limitations sooner.
But it felt way easier to max brawl stars in the past because you only had to upgrade your brawler to level 9 now it’s 11 you didn’t need to buy gears 2000 for each brawler you didn’t neeed to buy hypercharges 5k and there were like half the brawlers so I would say personally progression feels worse
Well from a different perspective: I was also from a PIXEL FPS player on the top 50 or in legions. I’ve seen people spend over $1,000.00+ Even a little below a thousand every month. I can’t imagine clash of clans. When you’re end game and you think about speeding the process from the beginning. That’s mind blowing actually. Even for me.
Great vid this is exactly why I stopped with clash of clans. They did one cool Halloween event with like a mini pass alongside the regular one, and then they just kept repeating this for the most random events and now everything in coc is just pay to win and I just eventually gave up with it
Wow! You'd think by only watching the video that it was made by a big content creator. I'm surprised that this channel uploads very high quality videos. You earned a sub man
What it will come down to is how aware the players are, and I do wonder what percentage of players actively engage with the content creators/social medias. What also takes into effect is if the number of players joining exceeds the number of players leaving. Truth be told, when one side of an industry falls, another side of that industry rises.
Brawl stars is in these weird place is that it has consistently gotten better f2p for a while, its just that there's also a lot more you can buy too. Sure the free brawl pass change on average gives you more resources (even if I still dislike Starr Drops) but with all the new offers, brawlers early and higher tier passes, paying gets you a lot more then it ever did and there's much more to buy. Then there's the mega pig, no one likes it so why does it exist, it makes dead clans even more dead.
The thing I hate the most about this company is how they spam their ads every video I click on I see an ad about CoC, Clash Royale, and Brawl stars it’s mostly, clash royale and brawl stars, I have seen the same clash royale ad probably more than 10 times in a week and I have seen a lot of brawl stars ads on shorts I always get mad when I see the same ad about one of their games it always pisses me off
Yeah you do get more progression, I agree - but it's meaningless when it just raises the bar across the board, the gap between p2w and f2p players pretty much remains the same. There's a reason SC make all of their games "free" and that's because they know a majority of their players will eventually feel coerced into buying stuff because progressing without paying still feels like a waste of time
Tbh all of these are mostly dead to they will die.. and ill be saying nothing but this clip everytime one of these games dies "good thats one less loose end"
actually its $85 a month thats what i was paying at twin hall 14 then i gave up realizing this aint worth it ill never come back & will never play a supercell game again.
8:33 When town hall 15 got released it was way too hard and it took way to long to upgrade but when town hall 16 got released it was way faster to upgrade then the old town hall 15.
About the early access brawlers... supercell has said they DO do it on purpose sometimes to boost the game and create hype (and money), but that this is a method they try not to use too much because it actively harms their game. I was F2P for a long long time and it was fine, never felt unfair honestly.
@Ivoireee are they still doing it tho? Kit and l&l were disgraceful but are the other brawlers after them this broken? Also kit was broken in showdown lul, dont tell me you main that gamemode
I stopped playing after the builder base rework. It was a good update. I'm not sure why I stopped playing. Maybe the build times got to me. shortly after I see all this pets, equipment, goblin shit and weird ass collabs, what the hell happened while I was gone? I probably wont be joining back
Brawl stars is the only supercell game that isn't pay to win and it's making more money than the pay to win one's, it goes to show that just bc they are making their games more pay to win doesn't mean they are gaining more money. I genuinely don't understand why they can't just make a good game and gain more money that way😭
As a brawl stars player i hear for the first time that we are mad 3:48 They buffed progression in free pass significantly 3:51 no, the last brawler was great, but not broken, before him was a really weak brawler, that got buffs only after a month 4:49 bro💀💀💀 I only donated gems one time on a brawl pass about 3 years ago and I have all brawlers on my account, each max out and has majority of abilities
@Ivoireee youre just being negative for the sake of being negative, and yes someone that played the game more will be more progressed in the game DUH, and stardrops are great progression, theyre not rng only if you have ever opened them, it looks like a wave of luck after every ammount of stardrops, ive got like 15 brawlers out of them, also theyre not your dad, if you came in so late theyre not gonna max your account out for free, every season you can max a brawler to level 11 and get 1 or 2 hypercharges in stardrops or gemming one every 2 seasons
@conicthehedgehog9166 Yeah, that is if you play 24/7 lil' bro 💀. Ivoiree isn't being negative, he's just being aware of how much progression some players get compared to others, accounting for when they'd play, if either during the old system or the current one. Just look at how many maxed brawlers you have (with hypercharge included) and divide it between how much time you've dedicated to brawl stars during your whole life. The math says it all. You'll take years to fully max out as a f2p. A season lasts a long time, and if you only get an average of 2 hypercharges per season (as you said yourself), with the more than 60 brawlers in the game... It'll be 2035 and you'll still have yet to unlock some, because they'll still keep adding more abd more brawlers. See the problem, lil' bro? You can't max out as a free to play, unless you sell your soul to supercell by dedicating your entire life to grinding the game. The same problem applies to Clash Royale with level 15 and evolutions, and Clash of Clans is following the same path as Brawl Stars. Open your eyes. It's for your own good.
@@ClassicssgamesGameplaysHonestly, I can see I pattern, Clash Royale, slowly became cash grab, for Supercell to obtain the money to work on Brawl Stars, and seems like the same might happen from Brawl Stars to Squad Busters. Atleast from what I saw.

Isn’t it odd that tencent has shares in all these companies and most of these companies have the same greedy business practices? Really makes you think
Builder apprentice is one of the most F2P things SCC has done in recent years. You can easily collect 6,5k gems as a F2P player and you keep him forever. It's a really good investment.
How is it F2P when it costs 6.k gems. If it was F2P you could buy it with gold or elixir. Sure Gems can be earned free but it's a huge bottleneck for anyone not forking out to SuperCell
If I didn't spend free gems on goblin builder, I would never have spent gems on anything, so builder apprentice is f2p friendly. If they straight up charged money or made a new type of $ gem for apprentice then I would agree it is p2w
@@blags2 F2P means that it is achievable without spending money, yes you can buy gems to speed it up (pay to progress) but it is 100% achievable as a F2P player. With your argument it would not be F2P even if it was purchased with gold because you can buy gold with gems and gems cost money.
@@dacherx Exactly, if the builder apprentice was introduced like the 7th builder in Clash of Clans China (part of the diamond pass) it would be P2W. Honestly if you can't max the apprentice within 9 months you should consider hiring an accountant.
Gotta say the way the economy is is pretty accurate id say am a free to play player of clash of clans as i havd only bought 3 gold passes in the time when gold pass existed to help me reach th16 quicker now am already there and being a long term player but everything is getting cheaper and cheaper almost upsetting in a way that my other friends don't even get to experience the grind i had to get here at this rate its much quicker to reach th12 to 16 than it was before i even came up with a strategy to keep my walls 2 levels behind and bot grind on them cause they get halved everything which means am literally spending less amount of time and effort than someone who chose to grind pretty optimal as am not on the game much but year economy is really bad but not as worse as clash royale i flat out just quit last year and its been getting worse and worse
exactly, it’s all about making new players feel like they can catch up, whilst slowing down top players. everyone is within a very narrow range of town hall levels at this point since you can get to th10 in a matter of weeks, where it used to take at least a year or 2
@@blags2 yea I understand that but it doesn't make the newer players understand and enjoy the earlier th levels even cause only og players get that experience I just feel like the newer ths are more exciting and game changing than the lower ones which causes everyone to just rush for new content
@@blags2 I’m lowkey praying on the downfall of clash Royale so I can get the 50$ I spent on the game in brawl stars gems, but I’ll be sure to check out the new vid
Personally I like the idea of making the earlier buildings and upgrade up to maybe 2 or 3 town halls below the current highest shorter and slightly easier so newer players can get to the content they started the game for in the first place. However, I seriously hate the idea of supercell making more difficult on the long time players being forced to either pay a large sum of money to continue playing or just waiting until it inevitably becomes cheaper.
So proud of myself for not giving Supercell a single cent. I've been saying those things since, like 2021, and now that it's all being confirmed, I want a Tip-Jar named "Times when I was right".
Look i get clash royale and clash of clans but brawl stars is being misreprsented. Brawl pass was buffed after introduction of brawl pass + you can t spend gems on it but they started putting good offers worth gems.new brawlers are broken cause they want players to play them, if they are released weak they will end up like willow who ca,e out terrible and no one used her after buffs that made her viable. We can t forget events and more f2p features loke the introduction of credits then star drops that add a layer of progression on top of credits without losing another f2p features. I feel like you misrepresented brawl stars but i agree with your opinion on CR and CoC
I’m not paying supercell for a while just cause paying doesn’t even gives that progression feeling anymore, its like you pay, get your stuff, and stay in the same spot..
So true. i've played every SP game released global. I just realize what you just pointed when Brawl stars removed brawlboxes from progression. I used to play BS at two accounts. I'm my main account i spent some money in the game, just to support the game bought some skins there and gems once in a while. One year after global release ive created an alt acc to play with my gf and niece. I kept playing that alt every day for three years or so, it was an f2p acc and was almost maxed at that time. When they removed brawl boxes, was the most noticeable hit on that f2p acc, but was almost maxed so i didnt bothered at the time. Today the game is very monetized indeed. No, there isn't paywalls, but the time and resources required to stay at competitive gameplay with shifting metas and new brawlers designed to be broken with "early acess" is a joke. My main is maxed, for now, but it will face in a few months the same problem that my alt faced. Gold shortage, sitting on top of a obscene ammount of power points and fame, but to be fair looking good, overflowing with cosmetics I dont like.
As an old coc player that returned to the game with a new account, I find the lowering of the prices for lower ths to be incredibly fair for everyone. Imagine if it takes years to get to th10 nowadays. The top players would be the same ones, fighting each other all the time, or a new player needs to spend thousands to catch up on a game they just started playing. If progression is too slow, and the goal is too far away, it prevents people from committing to the game in the first place. Let the elitists and the whales complain all they want. If the game is to survive, it needs to allow players to come and go.
Aside from cosmetics and bling, the paid side of the old pass is literally the same, better for some rewards, as the free-side of the new (current) brawl pass. It's just now a lot better if you want to pay for the brawl pass as you gain a lot more cosmetics, and a good extra amount of rewards
the way you got brawl stars so goddam wrong is kinda insulting i've been playing this for over 5 years, and i can confidently say that the game isn't unplayable and greedy like you describe it, and honestly that description of "this makes players want to quit" makes me think that you don't even play it yourself, as you basically skipped a whole list of good things the devs did that made the players actually want to play the game and buy stuff in it, without counting that your point aren't as valid as they sound i'm Not even gonna give you the privilege of making a detailed explanation paragraph on why you're wrong, i want you to deadass go and do a research because all i see here is you assuming the game is bad because clash royale is (btw this ain't as deep as i made it sound lmao)
One of the things I didn't see talking about is the equipment, which is making a problem for both f2p and on the esports side. Equipment, generally are a great way to add new strategy and new play styles but the new equipment is way too expensive, I've played clash of clans since when th 10 was max and was involved with community, currently I'm just here and there but I do help in a tournament group, so I hear all types of complaints from equipment advantages from players using the same attack strategy again and again. I've long seen that there can never be a perfect ratio where a casual will have fun if supercell centered it's gameplay for high end players and vice versa but honestly the team behind supercell is going both extreme, with th 15 and th 16. With recently drama idk what I should do, I'm already way tired but just can't leave the clan which I've been for so long.
It is becoming worse and worse, every game supercell has to offer is not only becoming gameplay wise worse, but also more expensive., more p2w. New BPs and other stuff are getting more expensive with less rewards. It is a scam at this point.
The expectation Unlimited growth is what ruins beloved companies.Supercell was one of the profitable companies for almost last 10 years but they are doing what EA does, no innovation, they are forgetting how they come to this place.
That's why the private servers exist. These servers have almost everything unlocked without paying anything in the game itself. (This also includes unlimited resources like coins, gems and etc) If supercell continuing doing this, almost everyone will try the private servers because it would be unfair to see your entire town hall 7 getting destroyed by a p2w player, most of the matchs on brawl stars having a power 11 berry on the enemy side, you're like playing against a level 15 player on clash royale that already defeats you with two evolutions while you didn't have any. Even tho I shouldn't hate them, they created a big mistake that caused this drama and I hope that they go downhill soon.
It's crazy how I've been saying this for over a year and people are finally starting to realize it, yet so much people are still so fking delusional and insult me for saying the truth
I think the reason Brawl Stars has been able to stay away from all the supercell greed is the fact that Brawl Stars is the most popular supercell game, and has so many creators and vocal fans to the point that they have to oblige and listen to their feedback. Mind you, when Gears were introduced everyone showed how awful the update was, and they were able to sort of fix it later down the line (we’re getting there) I suspected that gears was such a bad update, I wouldn’t be surprised that if we didn’t speak up, that’s where Brawl Stars would’ve become more pay to win.
don't get the hate with brawl as f2p ig they probably want everything to be free lol also don't understand with squad being 'p2w' either I'm f2p and level 91(with all commons at super level)
I've cut my budget for Supercell games by 4... No matter what they will do - I will not pay more than 5 euros a month. My gaming budget has been shifted to other game companies. COC is last game from supercell I play but my commitment is now minimal.
i think the new brawl pass is so much better but the new brawlers always being over powered is so annoying and made me quit a couple times(charlie, angelo, larry)
you definitely can, I agree - but to get to that point you need to spend far more time on the game. Paying SuperCell gives you a huge advantage when it comes to trophies and progressing fast
I disagree that the Brawl Stars team purposefully releases brawlers in a broken state. Willow, Lily, and Doug were all released in weak states and have been mostly forgotten about by the community.
My opinion on this is that as soon a new game gets created, the previous slowly becomes cash grab to work on the new game. Take Clash Royale for an example, it became a p2w hell, slowly and while that happened, Brawl on the other hand started getting more f2p. Now look at Squad Busters, and look at Brawl Stars. It seems like the same will happen between these two games. My thought on this is that Supercell is LACKING money. So they need to "milk" a game, before making it's sucessor.
The builder aprintice is not designed to spend your gems on it It is designed to spend your extra gems on it Buying the 5 builders is better than maxxing the apprintice builder
People in the comments are disagreeing with you on your point with Brawl Stars for a reason, man. While you get a big advantage for paying for the brawl pass and other things inside the game, you don't have to in order to progress in the game. Sure it takes more time, but it's enough that a player feels rewarded enough for playing the game and can play it without feeling like they need to spend any money on the game. Brawlers during early release stay the way they are after they are fully released, players who pay simply get a week earlier for that, and they aren't or won't always broken (like Lily). They do free events often, and while you can argue that it's to bring attention to the game, it doesn't change the fact that they are free rewards and progression. You don't even have to participate to get said rewards. Brawl Stars literally just put out emergency changes as they knew players weren't all-too-happy with the overpowered brawlers. The update has hardly been out for a week. And yeah they make so much new content to the point that new players can't catch up, but that's good for them as it always gives them something to do. If they got all caught up they'd get bored of the game quickly. This applies to the players at that point already
Regarding the brawl stars argument, the brawl pass free side was buffed along with the release of the new one leading to an overall buff to progression. And as they’ve said they want to release pretty good brawlers as releasing them underpowered causes long term damages to the amount of people playing them, also lily was kinda shit on release so it isn’t entirely true but otherwise a good vid

*Boycott all tencent games in general.* 🤫
I'm agreeing with this video, I quit BB a month ago because of how much I had to play to progress and how time consuming it was
After years of buying the gold pass, im done, wont support supercell any longer.
There is no supercell anymore it all Tencent behind the curtain
The fact people defend that the brawl pass went from gems to real money is sad. :C
What I love is that you can max brawlers so easily and play what you like
I actually quit Clash of Clans SEVERAL years ago. I’m not sure if there was any one reason why I did so but resource management games did leave me pretty board after a while when I was a teen. You can only imagine how much game hopping I did.
It's a huge waste of time and money. I would rather buy old PC games at discount then pay a single penny to this greedy company.
@@Shome2049is there anything good for Android?
I have no complaints about Berry.
I did not suffer from this OP version of Barley more than Surge.
I wouldn't say clash of clans is an entirely p2w game, even the builder apprentice thing, but where it goes p2w is the new equipments, like suppose 2 players, one p2w and the other f2p, they're both th 16 max
So who's gonna be more stronger? The p2w player who maxed their equipments, cuz it's sooo hard to upgrade the equipments, and there being a lot of them makes it even harder
So at that point, it's a p2w game now (mainly for competitive players, like u can't play competitively without paying)
agreed, it’s mainly at the top end where you’re really coerced into paying
All these games are getting to the point they're not making enough money so they have to make it to pay to win games which makes sense because I would panic also for losing the company at this point...
F2P progression didn't actually get nerfed when they changed the brawl pass to only be purchasable with money, because they did take into consideration how F2P's could buy the pass every two seasons, and they integrated that progression into the free side of the current pass. Although you're no longer able to get the pass skin, they did compensate by buffing coins and credits a bit. Also, typically op brawler releases aren't that bad for F2P players, because not many people buy the early access bundles (out of the tens of matches that I played since berry's pack was released, I only encountered him twice), and when the brawlers release for everyone, you can choose to unlock them over whoever you were unlocking, so getting the newer brawlers isn't that dificult.
machinations.io/articles/what-is-game-economy-inflation-how-to-foresee-it-and-how-to-overcome-it-in-your-game-design#:~:text=Inflation%20can%20ruin%20your%20carefully,is%20abandoned%20by%20your%20players.
3:42 factually wrong,in terms of progression, the curent one js better than the last one even if you bought every other pass
@@Ocacadordecasadas read my community post on this
Crazy cause I’ve spent over 300 dollars on brawl stars in the past 3 years and I’m still not maxed
The thing I hate the most about this company is how they spam their ads every video I click on I see an ad about CoC, Clash Royale, and Brawl stars it’s mostly, clash royale and brawl stars, I have seen the same clash royale ad probably more than 10 times in a week and I have seen a lot of brawl stars ads on shorts I always get mad when I see the same ad about one of their games it always pisses me off
Nice video look at the hayday statistics after the recent patch 27k members left that same day including myself and friends.
3:40
People have done the math, f2p players get more progression now than they did with the old pass. Stop hating on a upgrade for f2p players.
Yeah you do get more progression, I agree - but it's meaningless when it just raises the bar across the board, the gap between p2w and f2p players pretty much remains the same. There's a reason SC make all of their games "free" and that's because they know a majority of their players will eventually feel coerced into buying stuff because progressing without paying still feels like a waste of time
news flash they have always been greedy supercell continues 2 increase time i dont have over a month to wait fuck that
4:07 it's also no accident that brawler "early access" was turned into a *separate* IAP from the the "improved" brawl pass!
"improved" haha
Tbh all of these are mostly dead to they will die.. and ill be saying nothing but this clip everytime one of these games dies "good thats one less loose end"
I haven’t played Clash of clans in eight years. Even back then it was 100% paid to win.
actually its $85 a month thats what i was paying at twin hall 14 then i gave up realizing this aint worth it ill never come back & will never play a supercell game again.
8:33 When town hall 15 got released it was way too hard and it took way to long to upgrade but when town hall 16 got released it was way faster to upgrade then the old town hall 15.
always the way :( just makes the most committed players feel cheated

@conicthehedgehog9166
Yeah, that is if you play 24/7 lil' bro 💀.

I agree. It's f2p because they constantly give ways to get gems. In fact when I played it took me about 2 weeks to go from 5k gems to 5.3k gems

I feel like you misrepresented brawl stars but i agree with your opinion on CR and CoC

thoughtful video, but why clash of clans clips in 144p.
no idea, i imported them in 1080 soo much be render issue. thanks for watching
So true. i've played every SP game released global.
I think when brawls started getting pay to win is when they changed the battle pass 😭
They buffed f2p progression when they did that 💀
@@agentmanface6255 but it don’t cost gems anymore f2p can’t buy it
Aside from cosmetics and bling, the paid side of the old pass is literally the same, better for some rewards, as the free-side of the new (current) brawl pass. It's just now a lot better if you want to pay for the brawl pass as you gain a lot more cosmetics, and a good extra amount of rewards
the way you got brawl stars so goddam wrong is kinda insulting
i've been playing this for over 5 years, and i can confidently say that the game isn't unplayable and greedy like you describe it, and honestly that description of "this makes players want to quit" makes me think that you don't even play it yourself, as you basically skipped a whole list of good things the devs did that made the players actually want to play the game and buy stuff in it, without counting that your point aren't as valid as they sound
i'm Not even gonna give you the privilege of making a detailed explanation paragraph on why you're wrong, i want you to deadass go and do a research because all i see here is you assuming the game is bad because clash royale is
(btw this ain't as deep as i made it sound lmao)
The builders apprentice isn't greedy, builder costs 500 gems more each, why would he not be the same

The expectation Unlimited growth is what ruins beloved companies.Supercell was one of the profitable companies for almost last 10 years but they are doing what EA does, no innovation, they are forgetting how they come to this place.
Super cell is really killing free to play players and I hate that because it feel like they just don't care about anything else besides money.
That's why the private servers exist.
These servers have almost everything unlocked without paying anything in the game itself. (This also includes unlimited resources like coins, gems and etc)
If supercell continuing doing this, almost everyone will try the private servers because it would be unfair to see your entire town hall 7 getting destroyed by a p2w player, most of the matchs on brawl stars having a power 11 berry on the enemy side, you're like playing against a level 15 player on clash royale that already defeats you with two evolutions while you didn't have any.
Even tho I shouldn't hate them, they created a big mistake that caused this drama and I hope that they go downhill soon.
9:45 This sounds similar to Brawl Stars ranked and trophy's quality deflation. I think they just want to create new top players
Papa company tencent doesnt take lightly of criticism...

It's crazy how I've been saying this for over a year and people are finally starting to realize it, yet so much people are still so fking delusional and insult me for saying the truth
NO they 're not!
I think the reason Brawl Stars has been able to stay away from all the supercell greed is the fact that Brawl Stars is the most popular supercell game, and has so many creators and vocal fans to the point that they have to oblige and listen to their feedback.
Mind you, when Gears were introduced everyone showed how awful the update was, and they were able to sort of fix it later down the line (we’re getting there)
I suspected that gears was such a bad update, I wouldn’t be surprised that if we didn’t speak up, that’s where Brawl Stars would’ve become more pay to win.
You’re 100% right, Brawl Stars is growing at a rate where they don’t need to make any awful changes just yet
Talk about the ores in clash of clans and how you need to pay to obtain enough to level up the overpowered hero equipment
I would never leave mommy Piper.

I'm still supporting supercell even after this as a guy who is learning development this is just more motivating
don't get the hate with brawl as f2p
ig they probably want everything to be free lol
also don't understand with squad being 'p2w' either I'm f2p and level 91(with all commons at super level)
Instead of increasing things price they can just drop a banger like brawl stars so they earn more
I've cut my budget for Supercell games by 4...
Idk u but Brawl Stars is pretty F2P. It ain't that bad and u can definitely beat a full P2W team if you got proper skills.
Fax machine
you definitely can, I agree - but to get to that point you need to spend far more time on the game. Paying SuperCell gives you a huge advantage when it comes to trophies and progressing fast
Supercell going downhill and I am praying for downfall
at this point supercell doesn’t even own SuperCell, It’s TenCent. SuperCell will never stop getting worse from here
with the existence of brawl stars, it might be hard
I disagree that the Brawl Stars team purposefully releases brawlers in a broken state. Willow, Lily, and Doug were all released in weak states and have been mostly forgotten about by the community.
they shut down clash mini (their ONLY good game left) for this blasphemy and milking clash royale AFTER its dry.
This is why clash of clans will always and remain to be the best supercell game by a long shot
So they need to "milk" a game, before making it's sucessor.
what a shock a mobile game company being greedy
Bro the builder apprentice is just a clock tower but for normal base but it’s ptw
The builder aprintice is not designed to spend your gems on it

I played clash of clans since before clan wars and stopped because it was becoming more p2w then I was comfortable with
Regarding the brawl stars argument, the brawl pass free side was buffed along with the release of the new one leading to an overall buff to progression. And as they’ve said they want to release pretty good brawlers as releasing them underpowered causes long term damages to the amount of people playing them, also lily was kinda shit on release so it isn’t entirely true but otherwise a good vid
No more brawl pass for free-to-play players.
