Where do you feel the Sentry will fit in all of this and in the future ?
I could see it being Thunderbolts with a tagline. Like."Captain America: The Winter Soldier." I think they're just going to end up doing that instead of renaming the whole movie.
They could do what they did on Falcon and the Winter Soldier and renome it just before the end credits

Fun trivia: Ross led a team of Thunderbolts for about 22 issues, including himself, The Punisher, Ghost Rider, Elektra, Agent Venom, and Deadpool.
Very underrated run. Ghost rider was awesome.
I still remember the old videos of Ryan pitching theories of Dark Avengers and Thunderbolts based off of the shows and movies even before the announcement of Thunderbolts movie at SDCC. Now it comes full circle as he still theorizes how both could be merged into one single team by putting together the essence of both into the movie. Love the Screencrush team!

When she said “kid superheroes” I get what they meant but kind of cringed for the first time actually in the mcu. Don’t try to tell younger gen stories, just continue to do good stories with younger characters- (wait, how old was Steve when he got frozen?)
@adamherrick6077 He was 27 when he was frozen. Basically right in line with how old Shang Chi will be when we see him again. Kate Bishop was 22 in Hawkeye, so she'll be close to that age too. Peter and Kamala are still younger. Kamala is still only 16 in The Marvels.
I hope that Bucky doesn't join Ross's Team in the MCU, it's hard to believe he'd be on the side of John Walker or Ross

The Wyoming Avengers would definitely be called the Yellowstone Avengers. They'd mostly be doing park rangers stuff and making sure people don't get too close to bison.

Dude now that u mention it. That could be a pretty cool way to get those guys. Coz Norman's pretty important even outside Spiderman. They'll change the origin story a bit in the sense u don't need oscorp, but u could still retain the essence of the characters along with Harry Osborne.

In No Way Home, Osborne literally said that "There is no Osborne in this Universe", so Norman is out of the equation

I know a lot of work and money has gone into it, but Julia Louis-Dreyfus is seriously so pretty right now and is absolutely perfect in the role as a shady government agent. The costuming is also great, like she really looks like what you imagine a spy to look like, which is perfect comic-book style.
Ryan you can't ghost us for that long and then show up without an explanation. 😅
I'm not sure how I'd feel about seeing Sam Wilson seemingly die at the end of Brave New World after all that amazing character development during Falcon and the Winter Solider. But if it played out something like this, I suppose the initial shock of seeing Sam lose could have a greater payoff when seeing Ross' lies be exposed. I also really hope Ghost and Red Guardian don't die as they're already underused characters, and I would really like to see them in Avengers 5 and Secret Wars.
Red Guardian and US Agent have essentially the same power set, so likely only one would need to die for this storyline to work

I think that series only hurt the character. Honestly thought John walker was a better character even with the lousy writing.

I like this approach very much of Ross tacking Osborne place. The only thing I am concerned about is Fords contract. We all saw what happened in Star Wars and his demands. I am just hoping he is not contracted for just one appearance.
i mean, the man is almost 82. i can't really see him agreeing to some crazy Chris Evans/Sam Jackson 10-film deal. although, if he is going Red Hulk, then they really only need one or two movies out of him before the CGI and voice acting take over.
It because thunderbolts will have different characters joining the team ,and some will leave the team like bucky.
Since Marvel Studios unfortunately doesn't own the IP to Spider-Man or any adjacent characters like Norman Osborn, subsisting him with Ross as a key antagonist actually is a really great idea. It keeps the focus on the idea that the governments in the MCU are just becoming more antagonistic and hostile towards superheroes. And honestly, I think the real reason why the MCU is portraying the governments in this way is to prove Magneto's point right that humanity is inferior even before he makes his MCU debut.

They really should have gotten someone a bit younger to play Ross i can't see him being in more than a couple of Marvel movies he's going to be 82 in a few months time. I guess true to life they needed an old man to play the President just like what we have now with Trump and Biden.

I don't think there's anything secret about it. There was no reason to conspicuously call attention to it otherwise. Even Pugh called it out during her backstage video.
There should be no reason characters from both movies don’t appear in both. Ross needs to be in both, as does a cameo from Captain America, Bruce Banner and Bucky Barnes.

Let's be honest; they're gonna name it dark Avengers coz u need to lure the audience to the theatres. Nd this is the only way to get ppl to the theatre to see this movie bcoz there's absolutely no clue or interest anyone has.

And all of this is stopped by Tony Stark who kills the other universe with a button in his lab, just like the comic book universe, where he did this, and became the bad guy on purpose, and was run off by the avengers, and the new iron man was Rhode's Daughter in the future, who came back to the past to rectify the situation. You know, once Deadpool brings Tony Stark back in Deadpool 3 by sacrificing himself to snap the endgame battle away, and bringing back Tony as the Crux character of the 616 who had to survive in order for the 616 not to die.
Kinda sad Earth 616 doesn’t have a Norman Osborn. I was always hoping it was Oscorp that bought the old Avengers tower.

No shot they kill off Captain America in this movie, Anthony Mackie's first Captain America movie. Maybe they make him look like he died or something but no way they actually kill him. And you can absolutely bet on Red Hulk getting killed off in this movie, in the typical Marvel fashion-- they don't know how to use their Villains other than as fodder to die off in a 1 movie appearance.

Dark Avengers would make more sense but it's not Dark Avengers because these characters aren't evil or villainous.
It's just Black Widow 2 featuring Super Soldiers because people wouldn't go see a Black Widow 2 that just used the original cast.

Thunderbolts*, is def Dark Avengers and the plot is Red Hulk/ Ross leads a team whose mission is to lead an attack on New Asguard. Ross ran on a campaign to rid the world of aliens and xenophobia (sound familiar?). The team will not be the line up you think, and a few members will die during the battle. This causes Red Hulk to personally join the fight where he battles Thor.
The thunderbolt going against the other universe sounds very much like fringe season 3, with alt Walter going after our Walter trying to take over the world by collapsing the others universes

I thought it was a wasted opportunity to not introduce Norman Osborn as the director of Damage Control especially how much more prominent they’ve become now. Imagine if the Tinkerer was forced to make more weapons for them in exchange of staying out of a prison cell. That’s how Norman would’ve gotten his glider by salvaging the Ultron tech in those Damage Control vaults. Won’t happen now but it’s cool to think of what could’ve been.
they never really had the opportunity to do so, Norman belongs to sony and wont license the character outside of a spiderman franchise i bet
@@Chudsic yeah despite what these producers will say on interviews about wanting to try something new or not wanting to repeat what came before it’s obvious the deal between Marvel and Sony wasn’t fully realized because it really was a last minute deal.

This is why they should have introduced Ares in the last Thor movie instead of Hercules. A better villain and would make a great addition to the dark avengers
I think it will hit theaters with the "Thunderbolts*" title, then right before the credits roll, we'll be shown a new title card with someone (Val, maybe) saying "They will now be known as... 🎶The Dark Avengers🎵"
My ideal lineup for this team would be military types like U.S. Agent, Abomination, Bullseye, Zemo, Eric O'Grady, & Ares.
The current lineup with the exception of Walker just doesn't seem right given where their characters are. Bucky, Yelena, & Red Guardian following morally questionable orders from the US government makes no sense at this point, while Ghost and Taskmaster's character arcs were all about escaping from the role of being killers following orders.
Plus, my lineup has a more balanced power set. A mix of a super soldier, a gamma monster, a god, a size-shifter, an master marksman, and a spy type are much more interesting than a team where half of them have the same super soldier powers

How does Sentry fit into this? How about G'iah? I think Sentry will be unleashed on New Asgard for protecting and sheltering Skrulls and aliens in a style like Siege from the comics and Ross as Red Hulk will be the one to stop Sentry when he goes too far. This could set up a world war hulk scenario of Red v Green with Ross trying to scapegoat Banner.
How does Hulk get involved in this story though? Seems like Thor would be the one to go after Ross and Sentry in this scenario.
@@BaithNa in world war Hulk Sentry was put down by Hulk. But maybe Thor is the better option. Maybe a Thor hulk team up to down Red Hulk/Sentry. Ross hates Banner. gamma Super soldier and a red hulk might enrage Hulk.

at 345 you can see that asterix in the sky, a shape that has two X's what if they are fighting the Xmen? what if they have no Avengers 5 because they fired Jonathan Majors, so either Avengers 5 is going to be a sequel to Dark Phoenix where D'Ken tries to steal the M'Kran Crystal and sends the Royal Guard to fight the Xmen on the Dark side of the Moon to get the entity known as the Phoenix. and or it could be Generation X , with Chamber and Husk and Penance and Emplate , they were the last team we saw before the M"Kran crystal took over and shunted them into the AGE OF APOCALYPSE. they have't done that as a movie yet
