Musical Bridges: from Greek Traditional Music to Contemporary Improvisation” is the upcoming masterclass held by four acclaimed artists in their field. Vasilis Kostas, Chase Morrin, George Lernis and Nektarios Papageorgiou will be sharing valuable information about the rich musical tradition and the variety of musical idioms within Greece as well as creative tools in contemporary improvisation that can function as a bridge between these two musical cultures. The participants will have the chance to interact and try/play various ideas with the four artists. The masterclass is open to the public and free of charge.
