Great job everyone - its really encouraging to see the attention to detail that you show on your videos in going that extra mile to give the project that professional finish.
I followed an earlier deck building video you made to build my own deck and Im really chuffed with the finished article. Don't get me wrong you make it look easier than it is but great sense of achievement when I finished it
Thanks for the video, some useful tips. Instead of changing the joist spacing, why didn't you put the joist hangar on the upright post and shorten the joist accordingly? is there a reason not to do that? All the cut ends could do with cut end preserver. The fascia piece that was scribed to the ground having that untreated edge in contact with the ground will just rot away. I like the trend fixing tool and that lever for pulling a bent board in.
great video - this is one of my options i am thinking of trying so thanks for the video - not sure if i missed it but is there a slight fall on the decking? thanks
Cameraman needs to up his game! You boys are doing some class work, explaining things in detail (e.g the hidden screw system) but the cameraman isn’t doing you justice cuz we can’t see what you’re doing or what fixings you’re using! 😂
If you go through the link for the shop in the description, click on featured products the lights are listed Didn't see the trend jig though, if you google "trend concealed screw deck jig" you will find it The lights were £51.02, Trend jig was £49.99 and the screws were on offer at £42.03 for 750, down from £49.99. Edit to add that was all through Amazon
😂 the creator! Great to see the comments be hilariously awesome and the creators are great sports about it good job guys get a faster nail gun though 😅

@@homeimprovements followed your video to install laminate but some parts are too bouncy
great video - this is one of my options i am thinking of trying so thanks for the video - not sure if i missed it but is there a slight fall on the decking? thanks
We usually set our decks in level and don’t have a problem with them as the water escapes through the expansion joints
Great video guys. Can i ask, Do you not need to add posts in the ground for the decking? For strength?
Depends on your span ours was ok but really don’t want to span 6x2 further than 3m without additional support 😊

We all learning even filming and editing we will get better 😂🤣
@@homeimprovements no worries, just a bit of constructive feedback (not criticism!) 🤣🤝🏼

WTF is that dramatic music at the start all about 😂 you're building a deck, not breaking out Charles Bronson!!!
Don’t be like that.😂😂
Just for effect well done mate @homeimprovements

Have you got a list + measurements of what you bought? To make it to £700?
Maybe we should make a cut list in future videos 😊
Lovely old job
Thanks 😊
What is the brand of the lights?
Solar center 🙌
Do u work nationwide?
We don’t 😞
How come you guys do noggins and not bearers
We do bearers when it’s over 2.9m in span bud 😊👌🏼 there is a chart somewhere for timber size and max spans 👌🏼
And how much was the timber?
£650 I believe the rest was on post Crete etc
Whats the name or brand of the lights please?
Solar center I’ll grab the link for you
Link for the lights is amzn.to/3SuHwJa 👍🏻
@@homeimprovements Thank-you
'more stuck' is perfectly fine grammar.
😂😂🙌🙌
Surely it's stucker. :)
@@woody1380 very good!haha!

It’s the correct way, but we know what you mean 😂🙌
