Factory born Super Sport, 4-speed, Marina blue with black bucket seats as indicated on it's original trim tag and vin number. Original metal, Kansas car all its life.
EXTERIOR: All original metal. Recently repainted it's original Marina blue, very desirable. The body is straight and fits really well. The doors shut real nice. There are no bubbles, damage or rust. The paint is laid out very nicely, polished to a smooth glossy finish. They did a nice job painting the jambs. The bumpers are rechromed, the bowtie mirror, door panels and emblems are new. Most of the stainless trim around the windows was replaced. The grill, rear tail panel and rocker mouldings are good originals. It has new windshield and rear window. The weatherstrips, window gaskets and window seals were replaced. It has an original set of SS hubcaps on black painted rims.
INTERIOR: Has new cushions in the seats so the new upholstery fits tight as a drum. New door panels, armrests, handles and window cranks. In front of me is a nice clean dash area, nothing cut or broken. New dash pad, new chrome bezel around the original radio. On the floor is new carpet and an original SS console. There is some pitting on the chrome. That is a rare shifter, correct for a Nova with a Saginaw 4-speed ($1,500). Overhead is a new headliner and visors.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It has a correct 327-275 hp Nova motor. Correct casting codes and ZA suffix stamp. The motor was taken apart and inspected. The bearings cylinder walls, everything looked good. It was regasketed and treated to a fresh coat of Chevy orange. It has stock manifolds, valve covers and air cleaner. The carb is upgraded with a new Holley. There is spotless metal in here. The factory pinch welds are clean, the metal is smooth and straight. I don't see any signs of damage or rust. It has a nice satin black finish. The bottom of the hood is painted, has insulation. It is detailed with reproduction stickers, hoses, and clamps. The battery is bolted down properly and has reproduction spring clamp battery cables.

A high school friend many years ago (1966) was given a Chevy Nova SS like this by his family with 350 c.i. and 350 hp and I used to ride along when he would street race it. Beautiful and “bad” little car!

Fantastic!!! I think that this car is without a doubt one of the most desirable mid-60s muscle cars of all time. Chevy hit a grand-slam when they put this one on the market. Everything about this model of Nova is absolute perfection. A good friend ordered one like this in 66, and I spent many hours riding in and driving it. The only difference was, his had the optional 350 hp motor.
Watching this one spin, the paint & trim are spot-on, and the black interior is THE color to bring out the beauty of Marina Blue. Heartfelt congrats to Volo on this magnificent find, and to the next owner ..... Whoever he or she may be, you won't be sorry!!! Outstanding handling, and an overall joy to drive. What an awesome car!!! Thnx to Volo for the nostalgia and for sharing.

Hello Jay. Quite rightly, very enthusiastic comments from everyone. For me it actually "popped" when you backed it out . Today by chance, l stumbled across the video with your brother and perhaps your daughter ? showing us around your amazing museum filmed in 2016 . I did see one very disparaging comment from Tom Kelly and suggested he should write to your head office with his "complaint" and not make spurious remarks on you tube . I' m surprised that no action was taken by Volo. But , perhaps you've learnt to ignore such garbage. ! Thanks Jay.

Hey John! Thanks again for the kind words on this vehicle!
It took a little bit of digging to figure out what you were referencing. The comment was made on a different channel, the visitlakecounty channel, so we wouldn't of seen it. That is Jay's brother and a reporter from visitlakecounty channel. Without more details to look into like what vehicle? name on contract? ect...I'm unaware of what vehicle Tom Kelly is referencing and I can't immediately find a customer by that name that we sold a vehicle to.
