- The rules that define a cosmic entity, like most things in comics, are vague and ill-defined. It largely depends on who is writing the story
Generally, a cosmic entity is any being that wields enormous power on a scale of notoriety to other cosmic beings.
Or beings that serve a greater plan on the multiversion scale, beings that are actually concepts of existence
the one that represents death, the one that represents life, oblivion the one that represents Destruction and so on..
Depending on the script or story, some characters become more important or less important, moving up or down this cosmic trajectory.
others are so powerful and important that they remain at the top of this hierarchy regardless of changes.
So let's get to know how cosmic entities work in Marvel ACCORDING to Marvel itself
But also according to my opinion, how I see this whole structure, after all, it keeps changing and needs a little interpretation
Who is more powerful? Who rules who? And who just obeys?

Rob at Comics Explained channel has done a complete breakdown on the cosmic hierarchy several years ago n I think he just updated the beyonder mystery as well you might wanna head over to his channel n get correct info bro no disrespect but he's very OCD about this lol...

From what I've read and heard about Marvel during the 1980's, Jim Shooter, the former Editor in Chief at that time, could be thanked for the multiple retcons of the Beyonder. It's a shame because the Secret Wars limited series helped bolster Marvel at that time. Marvel had a nice run of action figure dolls and other toys produced during their Secret Wars run. But many fans were livid with the Secret Wars as most of the X-Men characters were thoroughly beaten during most major battles because of Jim Shooter's alleged bias and dislike for the X-Men. I think this may have been a rub against former great X-Men writer Chris Claremont. Other than that, I thought the Secret Wars was one of the best written limited series ever in Marvel. The multiple recons of the Beyonder are reminders of many internal Marvel in-house politics at that time.
I never tried to understand cosmic entities because the power scale hierarchy always changes.

The cosmic hierarchy is different now. In a recent comic it is shown that Oblivion is equal to the Living Tribunal as well as Master order and Lord Chaos.

@@doncorlllll Defenders Beyond 2022 #2 and 3 he's in and the whole run pretty much shows the new hierarchy. I don't know if he's appeared again. I heard something about him being beaten and depowered however by the original creator of the beyonders.

In Johnathan Hickman's New Gods, it was established that Oblivion and the Living Tribunal are brothers. So Oblivion is to the One below all as the living tribunal is to the One above all if I understand it correctly.
Also, the Beyonder is part of the race of Beyonders. This was explored in both fairly recent Avengers and Defenders storylines (apologies for not listing the more specific titles).
Probably be a good idea to use a real person other then AI for the voice over. If thats a person, tell them to put some life into it 😅

There is no way a real person consistently pronounces simbiotes that incorrectly.

@@TheNerdSpaceno dude he's not lol... it's very easy to pick out AI right now. With words like Knull and Symbiotes it doesn't know how they're supposed to be so the AI will say the same word in different ways bc it doesn't know what is correct.

I remembered Fantastic Four vol. 1 #257 in which for the first time Galactus faced guilt about his role after Reed Richards saved his life (FF vol. 1 #244 - amazing story too). Galactus was then visited by Mistress Death in which she explained to Galactus about his continued role in the MU. Galactus' cosmic awareness made him at first assume since he was still dying that Mistress Death was there to claim him.
Then Mistress Death explained to Galactus in one of the most convoluted conversations between two great MU powers that she and Galactus are in fact the two oldest beings in the MU (debatable) and that Galactus provided her with more souls than any other being in existence. In addition, Mistress Death referred to Galactus as his son, brother & husband and perhaps grandfather. And Galactus in return referred to Mistress Death as her daughter, sister and wife and grandmother. Basically, in simple terms, Mistress Death was telling Galactus to get back to work, embrace his role in the MU, and start devouring (populated) planets once again. This resulted in Galactus eventually changing the hierarchy of the major alien empires in the MU as Galactus perhaps in his weakest state ever consumed the Skrull Home World with the help of his newest herald Nova without using his energy converter.
Afterwards, this then led to the Trial of Reed Richards, one of the most important issues in comics during John Byrne's amazing and also controversial run as an artist/writer of the Fantastic Four. Personally, I enjoyed this issue. Odin also made an appearance in this issue testifying on behalf of Reed Richards decision on why Galactus was important to the MU. Even John Byrne himself was present at the trial. The Big G eventually appeared showing what he looks like to all major alien races present. And in the end, Eternity made an appearance and wowed everyone with cosmic level philosophy that had everyone present totally puzzled. Amazing issue back in the day.

Solid video. Theres obviously some ambiguity with a lot of these, and different writers of the comics themselves can even disagree, but i think i mostly agree with you. The only thing i really disagree with is the idea that the beyonders are high level cosmic entities from a separate multiverse. They could be, but i dont think that they necessarily are. I more got the impression that they were beings from a universe whose dimensional scaling exceed that of Marvel. Similar to how you or I, as 3 dimensional beings, can manipulate 2 dimensions with near omnipotence, the beyonders could manipulate the marvel universe with near omnipotence.

That’s a retcon, though. The Beyonder originally had no connection to The Beyonders (They didn’t even exist .). Hickman really basically created The Beyonders/Ivory Kings ( I don’t even know if they’re the same .).

BEINGS BEYOND THE MULTIVERSE
The One Above All - the highest creative force who embodies the writer(s) and thus the ONLY supreme being in all Marvel Continuity. TOBA and The Fulcrum are some of his aspects.
The Phoenix Force - embodies the blank piece of paper the writer(s) use to create their stories similar to DC's Overvoid as well as the organic creativity springing from human thought (being the nexus of all psionic enery).

This list isn't accurate. Abraxas is equal to MultiEternity since there is only one of him. Also the Phoenix Force and Never Queen exist outside of the multiverse, beyond MultiEternity which makes them more powerful and they influence MultiEternity

Umm the Phoenix is literally second only to TOAA. Phoenix is Omniscient, omnipresent, omniversal and nigh omnipotent. Phoenix is the spark that gave birth to creation and it's the ultimate power that will consume all. Phoenix Force was basically the power of one above all, but even as late as 2024, Phoenix might just be it's own Creation regardless of Toaa. It's a force, not a cosmic entity/abstract being like others. The white hot room is basically a blank page of a comic book, and whatever someone wishes there, it becomes true thanks to the Phoenix.
