This is great. I am a 66 year old Masters High Jumper , Sprinter & Standing Long Jumper. Incredibly, I have added about 3 - 5 inches on my standing long jump over the last couple of months. I do basically the same training ( weights, plyometrics ) so could not figure out why I am jumping further. Then it hit me. I added this stretch to my daily stretching routine a few months back. It must be this since nothing else has changed. I guess now I am that much more limber and get that added distance by being able to stretch my legs out that much further. The Huntsman World Senior Games record for my age group is 8' 8" and I was jumping 8' 5" to 8' 7". Today I jumped 8' 10" !!! I am going to get that record come tis October. Thank You!!!!

@@timothylucas9305 Well ,I did not get the record, but I did win the gold and jumped 4 inches farther than last year when I finished 3rd. So it was a success. Any improvement at my age is great. Thank You.

I watched these film clips & was astounded. Loke many here, I was there that wkn d too. We had lost a lot if people in the past 8 to 10 yrs & for a shirt whike had been basically a "parade corps". But that yr when we foubd out we'd be in Nat'ls fir tge first time in YEARS... Did we get excited! The whole wknd went by in something like a giddy blur; but we had a great time. Andvwe made a pretty decent showing & learned a lot of new music & didn't just recycle most if our old charts. But what floors me abt these clips us how amazing it waa to see so many units participating at Nat'ls level.getting out if step so much!! I coukd not believe my eyes. There are several examples if this happening IN PARTS OF THE DRUMLINE!
It seemed to hapoen everywhere! Just think if how many of these outfits could've come out on a completely different (& higher!) level if they had just worked on keeping in step! The easiest & most basic thing to learn, but there were people all over the place just schlepping along down the field. I can only imagine how many unstructors there were @ prelims that day just gnashing thrur teeth. And quite a few of these glaring errors were being committed by "The Bigs", the names we'd been seeing on all the dtum.corps albums. I never realuzed tik now what a leveler in competition such a simple thing could be.
Now lets see how long it takes before someone has to ring in w/"It was that damned cut-down drill we jad to learn for the Prelims..." 🤣🤣🤣
