- Hi everyone! Sorry for getting this out late -- I was just not expecting a Lobi sale for at least another month or so. In this video, I go over everything from the Lobi store in which you *have* to use Lobi in order to get. There are many items, ships, etc. that you can buy off of the exchange, but there are some space & ground items that you can't and need to collect Lobi in order to use on your starship & your captain. This video shows the general stats of those items for easy comparison (along with rants from me throughout) on their viability.

Hello everyone! I am aware that I do not pronounce "Lobi" correctly in this video. I pronounce it correctly as "low - buy" (as clarified by many of you) as of my 2019 videos. Unfortunately on UA-cam creators can't change the audio of older videos, so this video will continue to have me saying the term incorrectly. If UA-cam decides to allow for creators to change audio on uploaded videos in the future, I will correct this.
I've heard it pronounced four different ways, say it how you want, ignore the grammar Nazi's.
I can't recall anyone else making such a detailed video on this topic. Very good of you to do that.

The Tzenkethi Energy Torpedo proc is pretty easy to activate when using Torpedo Spread (III)
The Proc is separate from the weapon proc - so in my Tests i had
At least +10% Shield Ress and when the Energy Weapon triggered
+20% Shield Res
And the enemy ship -20% often in the opening salvo

The lightsaber to which you were referring is the Darksaber, which was built long ago by a Mandalorian Jedi and, after being stolen from the Jedi temple by mandalorians during yet another intergalactic war after his death, saw use as a sort of mantle of leadership amongst the Mandalorian people.
FYI it is pronounced "Low Buy" not "La Be". I made the same mistake for years until I watched the first episode of Voyager again, Quark clearly says it to Ensign Kim on DS9 before Voyager launches.
I use the Tet space set on my Tet build and it kicks ass.. on a Fed toon.. the veteran fleet chimera destroyer.
FYI, in order to get the three different "standard" versions of the Solonae Environmental Suit, you have to pick each of the three different options that Tuvok offers you when returning through the corridors after deactivating the gateway = Solo/no help - Reprogrammed Swarmers - can't remember the other option - This will give you the three variants of the Environmental suits when you go to the lockers (plus an accolade)
Ferengi Marauder Set:
- *"Rapid Fire Missles"* ( _and the Kentari_ ) is PERFECT for the Torpedo Duty Officers (20% Chance to reduce the next Torpedo by 5 seconds)
-- if you want to go really crazy ... you can use both Rocket Launchers to heavily reduce the high cooldown Torpedos (Tricoblat and the Mine Torpdeo Launchers)

Yeah, no T6 Hirogen Starship, but I think with the thing we saw happen to the D'kora and Nicor it won't take long for them to make a Infinity lockbox version, remove the Hunter Escort and call it a day.
But anywas, very informative video, especially with the new event, wich also gave me my first bunch of lobi. Keep up the great work!
Glad this old video is still valuable for you. The space altamid set is also really good (strong console standalone, or full 3-piece with a plasma beam build). I find that corrosive set minus the mine launcher to be very useful on a corrosive plasma build, combined with Romulan rep mods and the usual syng retro set.
After the buff, the Discovery Phaser Full Auto rifle is the best Full Auto in the game. Period. The primary fire mode is constant, unlike other full autos. Not only is that more dps. But you are more mobile, which is huge. And because of the constant fire, your more likely to get the phaser proc off.

you get the different solanae armors from mission if you choose the defenses differently, beam defenses= armor with 5% energy dmg, swarmers defenses= armor with +10% phys dmg, and no defenses= armor with 2,5% crtH and 20% crtD. there is no rng in that, if you choose that defense, always that armor comes up.
ps, best enviromental suit is the one from nukara rep you can get for 1h project out of random box, that armor can have 5% energy dmg, 5% crtH and 40% crtD at once (or you just reroll it with re-eng)
pps, ferengi enegy whip is not melee, its a handgun with 25m range.

I have that Hur'q ground weapon, I love it.
Be careful though! The standard shot hits up to 6 enemies at once, which is nice but it will make them all target you.

Yes, that weapon felt soo weak.

I forgot to mention one thing about that hur'q ground weapon, the primary attack also fires twice.
Bought the full Hirogen set regret absolutely nothing after I fully upgraded them. Cannon is used in conjuction with the mines. Then when added with the Gamma console oof. :)
You have the usage of the Herald staff and Boolean cannon backwards. I normally wouldn't comment but people may use the advice here in making a purchase with limited access to lobi. Herald staff has long range and can chain, like chain lightning, up to 3 total targets with a secondary that is a charged ball that also hits AoE. The Boolean has long range too and hits 'absurdly' hard against a single target with a secondary that shoots multiple times in a cone but is an exploit and can vaporize exposed targets. Boolean primary fire can regularly exceed 8k crits with the right build, however it takes about a half second to charge every shot.
Also, the 23c spacesuit is arguably the best armor in the game for ground dps Sci. It gives kperf enough to match the hazard bonus on the temporal ground armor, and kcd, and a few other things.

You can access the lobi store by directly clicking on your Lobi in your inventory or through a specific Ferengi vender on Drozana Station. There might be other areas as well, but those are the two I have always used.

Not that I am aware of in just one list (most do videos on a ship-by-ship basis), though I did do a biased list on STO Reddit a little while ago on what I feel are the best ones. The Son'a Intel Battlecruiser **should** be much higher -- due to its prevalence in the torpedo meta -- but I just have my own biases against that ship as explained in the post. Some comments below my post there can give you some community semblance of how many others feel about the starships in the lobi store -- though just be aware that there always is negativity that surrounds a subjective list like what I provide here. www.reddit.com/r/sto/comments/f11vms/all_lobi_starship_ranked/
Keep in mind, I recommend just getting lobi starships from the exchange, as they are heavily discounted there vs the cost to get them through earning the lobi and buying from the store itself, as explained in my STO Economy video. Only if you open 1000's of lootboxes in this game should you buy lobi starships from the lobi store (or if the ship just isn't being sold on the exchange that you want).
