This is a walkthrough video on how to conver the bottom side rudder on the Hoodoo Tempest 120P into the flip-down Blade Rudder using your existing hand steering module.
What size is that cable that you guys are using. I need to replace mine and I don’t see that you guys have it on the website. The rudder came super loose and steering was almost useless
idk where he got 5/8ths bit from but that is NOT what that is. I used a 1/4th and it worked perfectly. I went to go get a 5/8th bit and realized it's like 3x the size that is needed, glad I didn't use it like he said and ruin my kayak.
my Tempest 120p doesn't have a rear access hatch like shown in the video, how can i access the inside of the hull to run new lines? My rudder lines that came with my kayak are worn and about to snap so i want to replace it with coated wire
I just bought a tempest 120 can you make a how to on putting a pedal drive system and changing the steering to the handle please and thank you And does the hand steering come with the whole kit
the video's great - but the customer service is awful. my 120 pedal drive came with the under rudder - I purchased the beavertail rudder from your company but it didn't come with the blade rudder cable kit - I tried customer service and got no response, tried the phone #, was dumped strait to voicemail, even got a survey on the customer service - which I rated accordingly :( . I'll purchase my own cable and tubing - just need to know what type of tubing to get so I can fuse it together with what's in the kayak.

im having same issue. its almost as if they installed the lines before plastic welding the 2 halfs of kayak together
