If you slightly round the corners your thread is less likely to catch on your foundation. I also have my tail a little longer so it lessens the risk of coming unthreaded and that makes the stitching go a bit faster. But you are the teacher and you know best. 😊
Hi Becky, First thank you for the excellent tutorials...they are easy to understand, and fun! Now, I have two questions; First, what other materials / fabrics can be used as a foundation? Second, can the two seed bead backstich be used to fill in areas of a project? Thanks, Bob.
Hi Bob! You can use felt as a foundation but it will be a little less firm than the bead backing. And yes, you can use the two seed bead backstitch to fill in areas. It's a very open technique!
Your beads might not be spaced out evenly, you could be stitching them too close together. Make sure to accommodate for the space of the beads when adding them. You can't stitch too close together or they will bunch up. I hope that helps!
Thanks for this video! I’m working on your Regal Bird. A long time ago I did bead embroidery - nice to revisit !
So glad you enjoyed the video! It's always fun to pick techniques back up when we're inspired!
love your earrings!!!
Thank you, we have a tutorial for how to make them here: artbeads.com/design-studio/vipera-seed-bead-fringe-earrings/
You do beautiful work. Thanks for sharing
Thank you for watching, Rita!

Hi there. Can I use a different glue because I don’t like 5 minute epoxy.
E6000 would probably work well, too!
@@ArtbeadsVideos Thank U.
Hi, i did this but my beads are uneven. There are beads that showing up more than the other. How to fix that? Thank you!!
