"why be there if you wont pay are not paying attention" because attendance is 10-70% of the days grade.

@@The_Renzo_Show they’re just answering the question from the video about why show up if you’re not gonna pay attention to the class. The reason many people show up is because you’re graded on attending.

Not me, but a pastor my family is friends with was holding a zoom meeting with other ministers when an ad for adult content popped up. Not disturbing as much as it was awkward, but I think it fits with all the other stories I heard in this video.

On the last story, you'd be surprised at how badly some people are at remembering someone else's schedule.

A long time ago, me and my friends were on discord VC. After the call, we all left except for one of my friends. The next day, my friend asked if anyone got on call or stayed on call after we all left. Apparently, he masturbated, finished, and then proceeded to have a panic attack when realizing he was still in VC.
As far as I know, no one else was there.

during the pandemic. I'd just started a new job and our first week was in office before the lockdown rules came in suddenly. Training switched to online, and it turned out I was one of the people who really does well with the training and generally in the job. It's a phone job and eventually we take calls. All pretty normal stuff, troubleshooting, repair orders (people could mail in small repairs), and we got a list of professions ("school" for students and teachers) who could get a tech out to, though supervisors needed to order those.
Got something where it was basically cosmetic damage, and the only option was to send it in because the store the person wanted to go to was closed. they weren't in a lockdown area but the stores could determine if they didn't feel safe, and all our repairers went dark. customer doesn't want to send it in, device is still functioning, just a little physically broken. They demand to go to a store, it doesn't help. I don't even live in the same country, so even if I did know how to actually repair something (nope, troubleshooting only), I wouldn't be any help. Customer seems to sigh, then very casually says "ok, guess I'll just **ll myself" then disconnects almost immediately
I internally freak out, say I don't want them to hurt themselves, they should talk to a doctor if they feel like that - call disconnects. Manage to get them back, try and make sure they're ok, they repeat it like they're confused about why I would think it's not ok, then hang up again.
All that is not the zoom call, it's just the prelude to it
As you can imagine, this f'cks me up pretty badly, it was my last call of the day, but I'm also still technically in training so we're expected to go back to our trainers afterwards, and join with the class to debrief. I manage to tell my trainer what happened and THAT was the disturbing zoom call, with me absolutely in tears babbling. I can only imagine the distress and hurt from the trainers and teacher, all physically isolated but hearing me absolutely lose it. They all comforted me as best as possible and told me that I had done my best. Worse: we couldn't even have called medical aid 1) because they didn't actually identify a danger (the words seemed... not serious but in a weird way? but also held no "immediate" intention) but also the "other country" was relevant, we didn't know an address and wouldn't ask for it unless directly relevant (i.e. we were sending them a tech), and this person SPECIFICALLY said they weren't where they usually lived (so if we had the data, it would be wrong) because they'd headed to be with family for the duration. So yeah, they probably weren't even meaning they were actually going to hurt themselves, but it was still a scary time and made for a scary call after with my trainers.

    Not disturbing, just weird.
I did my driving class online. This one dude would be all over his house. He went outside and started chopping wood. He chopped wood the whole time and a few other days. It struck me as weird cause wouldn't you want to know all the rules for the road and how to drive so you can pass the test and get your temps??

Story 16 broke me as an abuse survivor + having C-PTSD from (among other things) growing up witnessing the domestic violence and aggressive misogyny my fucking father has put my mother and his other wife through for 20+ years. I am crying as I am typing this. I am happy the little girl and her sister got out of there, but god, my heart is torn...

    About story 9:
No jokes, I can confirm as a South African civilian living in South Africa, through not only personal experiences but experiences of trustworthy family experiences and friends accounts, the police will do one of the following:
1: "Sorry, we don't have enough vehicles
2: "Sorry, we don't have enough officers on-duty."
3: "Sorry, there's nothing we can do."
4: They'll take upwards of an hour to come out, even if the caller is within 5 minutes of walking distance from the station.
5: They'll come out in a reasonable time, but just stand by the entrance without entering the yard, shine a flashlight as deep as it will go, say "there's nothing there." and then leave
