My college needed another parking lot, the neighbors across the street complained that they didn't want to look at a parking lot. An extra $20,000 (1990 dollars) in landscaping had to be added to hide the parking lot from the neighbors. The school is currently getting bulldozed along with that parking lot .. I think the ONLY residents near the track that should have any complaint (and therefore any legal arguments) are those who've lived there since BEFORE the track was built. For everyone else, WTF did you think would happen?!??!? You moved near a racetrack!!?!! These are the same idiots who buy a cheaper house near an airport and complain about the sound of planes taking off and landing. There's a reason that house was not as expensive as a similar one in an area not on a flight path/by a racetrack.!!:!!

Be honest. Had it not been for one man that is just from another planet the new rules of F1 would have done their job excellently. Ended Mercs dominance and if you think away Max, so basically you look at the fight for 2nd as if it was 1st. What an incredibly unpredictable seasons we have had. Going into a race weekend there are 8-9 contenders for 2nd place. Max really did spoil the party. The FIA had it right for once in their entire existence.

From my understanding shutting down the racetrack wasn’t something desired, just bringing it back prior usage levels.

I am no fan of him but I thought with time he could be a new scott mclaughlin. probably not. ricardo juncos will support him as much as he can, it's his personal thing, arg driver in an argentinian's team. also there is the project to bring indycar to argentina and brazil, so having local drivers is a plus for the series. indy at de number 15 course in buenos aires would be incredible, it's a super fast track.

And throughout the race I traversed from: The corkscrew The top of the hill The entire walk by rainey curve The turn 4 grandstand The turn 3 exit wall And the grandstand along the main straight And by far, the corkscrew had the biggest wooops for srr when they were announcing the drivers pre race. The litigation over the track was settled pretty quickly once it was uncovered that it was essentially one person and the internet set about trying to find and doxx them. Wasn't even really an issue.

As a fan of IndyCar (and CART/ChampCar before that), I find the lack of enforcement of track limits appalling. Turn 6 and the T7 kink before the Corkscrew were abused more often during that race than Will abuses Grosjean in a season…

Real answer: having the qualifying Start/Finish line right before the pit entrance is huge. That way drivers don't need a cooldown lap, they can immediately pit and get out of everyone else's way.
As someone who was at the track, it was about 70 degrees(21 C). It was hotter last time in September. Tire deg was higher since the new paving has seen more use in the last 9 months. It wasn’t the temperature
Race for the lead might have been more interesting if Herta didn't become a rolling road block. Like don't get me wrong, he did everything he needed to do, and the call by the team proved to work (...despite being rather questionable). But as a race fan, that was pretty frustrating.

Can someone tell me what McLaren are smoking when it comes to the #6? Honestly, for me, the decision to drop Pourchaire stings, both as a fan of him and as a McLaren fan. Of all the driver controversies their IndyCar side's been involved in over the last few years, this one makes the least sense to me. Having said that, Siegel got a decent result out of all the chaos near the end, and I get that this is a tough track to make your debut for a team, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt here. We'll see how he goes over the rest of the season. I think he has a lot of pressure on his shoulders to perform though because of the circumstances surrounding his signing. Newgarden throwing away all the track position he'd gained from pitting while Race Control were waiting to bring out the caution was quite amusing.

Laguna Seca is owned by Monterey County in California, so it's not as simple as NIMBYs crying their eyes out.
Locals don't give a shit, it's one specific guy pushing it through some company... Noise doesn't carry that bad in the area...

I enjoyed NASCAR’s 6 Hours of New Hampshire. NBC getting rid of NBCSN never ceases to be a mistake to me.

Can someone tell me what McLaren are smoking when it comes to the #6? Honestly, for me, the decision to drop Pourchaire stings, both as a fan of him and as a McLaren fan. Of all the driver controversies their IndyCar side's been involved in over the last few years, this one makes the least sense to me.
Having said that, Siegel got a decent result out of all the chaos near the end, and I get that this is a tough track to make your debut for a team, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt here. We'll see how he goes over the rest of the season. I think he has a lot of pressure on his shoulders to perform though because of the circumstances surrounding his signing.
