Been enjoying your Vlog, keep up the great work. Next time I'm in the UK definately hanging out in your sewing room. Feels like i'm having a coffee with you. Glen x
Love this type of vlog although the impulsive part of my brain says…ohh, I like that! …ohh, looks beautiful on! ohh, I must add that to my list! 😂. It’s nice to see the fit and know the comparison of measurements and ease and the size decided on. Lovely. Thanks
Thank you so much for showing the indigo dress. The picture on the pattern puts me off as I don’t like the frill. Seeing all your dresses has made me make some winter dresses in this pattern. Thank you Clare xxx
Great selection you have there 😍 I love dresses but I’m trying not to make too many as I don’t seem to reach for them on a regular basis for day to day wear🤔
Ooh the Pleiades looks lovely. Both versions actually. That’s going in my wish list. All your dresses are lovely. Beware of flimsy fabric with the Holland Dress (especially if you make your own channels) and settle in for a fiddly, time consuming sew! Mine got thrown across the room at one stage and husband said I looked like a milkmaid after all the effort! It always helps seeing things on you as we’re a similar height and dimensions.
@@jeannettehirst5489 oh you definitely should. I hesitated on that pattern for so long as generally anything pulled in or elasticated around my waist is not flattering on me but when I finally made it I was so happy & now it’s one of my favourite patterns 😻
Hi Claire that was a great vlog. You’ve made some lovely dresses. I’m in awe of your skills. I think you’re very easy to relate to - unlike some sewist on You Tube. Xxxxx
Great video, I to have made 6 Indigos, but now I have seen your other makes I think I will try a couple of those now for a change. I am. Ot very good at deciding from the stock pictures, so this has been great.
Thank you Claire a great video. A lovely selection of beautiful dresses. I have just made the Nell blouse with ties however I cannot get the bows looking very tidy. Please can I ask how you managed to get your bows looking so neat on your Nell dress.
@@marygreen7225 thank you Mary. I’m not sure if you follow me on Instagram but I did a little reel on how I tied them & it’s pinned to the top of my grid. Let me know if you can’t watch it & I’ll find a way to add on here for you ☺️
Really enjoyed this vlog Claire, lovely dresses, the Pleides pattern looks like a nice dress for autumn. I recently made the Holland Park dress and I'm on the fence about it, didn't enjoy putting in the elastic and don't find it as comfortable as shirring, I think I prefer the TATB Mabel dress.
I love all of your dresses on you. I also love your choice of fabrics--just my style!
