We're back at it again going over what your favorite Sonic game says about you. We talk about Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Heroes, Sonic Frontiers and lastly Sonic and the Black Knight. Personally almost all of these games are amazing but they do say something about your character...

He means the controls are slippery and you can glitch the game easy but it's not
@mightylagicrus3340 but even then, controls don't make a game fundamentally broken. They can hinder the experience, sure, but that's not what that means. For example, is croc 1 fundamentally broken because the game has tank controls? No. I think the game works better without them, but that doesn't mean the game itself is fundamentally flawed. Fundamentally flawed/broken is something like balan wonderworld were the very idea of having 80 different power ups that essentially function the same, and having one button that does everything IS fundamentally a flawed game.

Sonic Frontiers is my favourite cause it's chill as freak and the boss battles are some absolute bangers.
Sonic frontiers is my favourite because of yes the boss battles and the soundtrack, especially undefeatable. It’s the best. Plus I love sage so much and this game is one of the few games that makes eggman actually care about someone

Sonic Frontiers was everything I’ve ever wanted in a Sonic game since I was a kid. Sometimes I don’t even play the main story and I just have fun running around as Sonic because it’s really satisfying.

Heroes isn't fundamentally flawed. It's just buggy as heck. Given a proper remaster, it'd be playable and glorious.
I'd say there's one other issue with Heroes, and that being the stages are too long. Cant really fix that with a remaster, or even a remake without cutting content. But im used to the stage length at this point.
@@ThundagaT2 Were stages too long in the sense that there was nothing to do in them for prolonged periods? I don't remember much of that, but I haven't played it in a long while.
@@norsehorse84 Nah there's plenty to do in the stages it just feels like they drag on for too long. Normal stage length in a typical sonic game doesnt really exceed 5 minutes on average, but stages in Sonic Heroes can end up taking up to 7-9 minutes for Team Sonic and Team Dark. Even longer potentially for Team Chaotix as their stages are mission based and are generally more about finding objects placed throughout the stages. Team Rose on the other hand, despite being the "easy" mode their stages feel like the right length sometimes, although at times i do feel their stages are a bit too short, but i'd rather have a stage that ends early than a stage that drags on. This also affects trying to get high rankings, since if you die at any point throughout the stage you will have to pretty much start the entire stage all over again, which wouldnt be a problem, but when stages can go on for upwards of 7-9 minutes each, yeah thats draining to have happen to you.

Heroes isn’t fundamentally broken at all, it’s just unpolished (I’d argue it’s better than Frontiers). Unleashed’s Night Stages are overhated and people who can’t bare to go slower in a Sonic game are the only real issues (also learn how to tune the music out, it’s not hard).
Black Knight is my favorite purely because of EVERYTHING surrounding the gameplay.
Frontiers is kinda fun the first time playing (except the cyberspace stages because they SUCK)

My first Sonic game was actually Sonic Rush. But Sonic Frontiers was really fun. I look forward to whatever Sonic Team has planned for this new chapter for the franchise. If the gameplay and reviews are any indication.

Every time that song pops up I can unleash my inner rage as I lay the smackdown on tons of enemies. Also I play the wii version so it's less reliant on coins but instead relying on small day missions and a huge night level for every zone split into up to 4 chunks.

Last one is accurate for me. Sonic frontiers is the first sonic game in YEARS that didn't make me cry in the shower. Also black knight is incredibly bad for your wrist's health. But I love black knight just like frontiers.

Honestly I loved the werehog stages. The fight scenes were amazing and the quick times for both times were awesome. The song is amazing imo as long as it’s not the whole level that’s there. Open world fights and speed runs are my favorite kinds of games and unleashed did perfectly.

It's too samey. Unlike most Sonic games who combine a variety of genres, Frontiers ost blends together way too much. They're all in the techno genre with absolutely no variety, titan songs do go hard tho.

Idk sonic hero’s will forever be a great addition to sonic and gang stories. Really love the updated fits for some and getting to see team chaotic work. Getting to use tails without a mec. I really loved when it came out after SA2 and how it offset team hero with the continuation of team dark. The fact that we got metal sonic as a character in SA2 to have him return at the main villain in Hero’s was just right. Twas a win for me

Alright, it's fine if u don't like Heroes, but it's far from fundamentally broken. It's just unpolished. The team mechanic of the game is one of the best ideas sonic team has thought of. The execution is debatable, but if it had the polish, it can fundamentally work.
Sonic Heroes was a lot of fun when I was growing up. I didn’t know any technical stuff about video games back then and didn’t understand it was such a mess. I love the time I had with it, but I could never pass the haunted mansion level as Team Sonic because I kept falling off the walls. Now, I get why it was so awkward and clumsy throughout and why I never passed any story besides Team Amy lol.
I love the werehog levels in Unleashed, and I prefer them to the regular ones
And the battle music is a banger

Sonic Origins Plus believe it or not, gave me nostalgia of the years I played Spnic classic collections on the nintendo DS. Though I do miss Ice cap zone's theme and Launch base zone's theme, I do enjoy the rest of the games. Despite a softlock glitch I avoid now in the bonus stage with the slots.

When I played Unleashed I was trying not to just turn off the game on Werehog stages and when the music came on, the only thing holding me back was because I wanted to reach the day stages.

Yeh the devs of Sonic Heroes were basically like, "if the bug does not hinder the game's progression, it's not considered to be a bug. DONT SEND THESE." Because play testers were sending in piles of bug reports.
