First off this video was GREAT! wasn't expecting this quality of writing from a channel of your size and you aced it! second of all, compliments aside... I feel like yes, the MacBook in a vacuum is great. But once you start comparing it to similarly priced windows machienes the glory starts to fall apart. Which, weighing up ALL the benefits of using Mac, its kind of hard to ignore the drawbacks. here, 99% of people will use the battery life argument as a reasoning as to why Mac is better than windows but I want to bring up the screens which for the price SUCK at gaming. The motion rendering and response time just aren't it for gaming (which is kinda important in the context of replacing your gaming pc?) with that said, great video and hope you enjoy a new sub
Can it replace my gaming PC? Let's see... Half of the price, even cheaper if I get the steam deck, all the level RTX or even GTX, or amd RX, I can play any game I want, I can constumize any thing I want and... Windows works with a lot of software, playing ate 360hz or even higher, but I keep at 60hz. So yeah... No chance. My PC is a Beast

Thanks a ton bro! Appreciate ya being here 🫡
man can't get over how good your videos are. Totally going to analyze and learn from your vids! also saw you worked at Apple also before. Did you ever get any grief for posting about work experience there? I have some people asking me to share my experience also but I'm scared haha. @@zacharystaines
Windows pcs are generally better value, and the Macs advantage goes away when having to translate an api and programming instructions.
Haha yeah agreed! But hey I don’t have to go buy another computer now 🤠
ARM is just a beast platform,
Still under utilised but can’t wait to see it grow!
The point is "Heat accumulation", psu screaming there soon ...
I would say, the m1 is very impressive, but... I prefer the APU from the steam deck. Coz apple won't say it, but ARM, is an APU. But, just buy a console if you can't deal with PC. But I would also say... On PC, you are the king you can control a lot of things in the game. My advice would be, give it a try.
The simple answer to the title is, NO.
you have a Macbook sir ?
Simple answers from simple people.
@@wds143 no I don't have a MacBook
@@MB-nm8tt I'm not simple I use Linux lol
then how could you say that

40-50 fps not good imo.
my mac can’t handle large music production tasks building s monster pc right now
I need the MacBook for music production stuff and game every 3-4 Months. In this case the MacBook m3 pro is actually fine, I can play hogwarts legacy with crossover, ultra settings 2k res in 60+ fps. I would never recommend macbooks for gamers, but it still can handle some games
Windows laptops just tend to performed so much worse over the course of a few years this would be awesome
I'm a student I'm going to build a budget pc will play only valorant on it and I have a laptop with i3 8th gen and might want a new laptop which one should I get macbook air m2 15", m1 max or a cheaper windows laptop which I can carry plus do good gaming along with decent battery
See what people should understand it could replace a Windows PC a gaming PC about the times over in fact you’ll probably get less bugs less but you should also understand if you’re getting it for older games that I’ve been out a while then, but it will play every new thing on the market in fact, all the newer games that are coming out as of now or getting released on it like the new assassin Creed and anything new basically that’s gonna go over there is gonna go over here so the silicone series it can I mean the M1 M2 Max whatever it can be good but it’s up to you as the gamer to know what you like. Do you want those gamers that are in it for the older stuff it’s not gonna do you justice so it’s gonna be a biased opinion, so you keep a PC specifically for that
bro good job but i easily run BF4 on my 2022 M2 Macbook 8/512 via Crossover v24 and it runs completely OK (i play multiplayer only)
i think Apple's GPTK is already IN Crossover cause GPTK completely free and in Crossover you can run games via MetalFX (how does Steam Deck i guess)
Hello I really love your channel and I have a video suggestion with your iPhone 3GS can you make a video on how to make the phone 100 percent usable like not just Minecraft I want to download instagram Facebook all apps
Yo love this suggestion! I'm working on a video just like this 🫡
Been playing titanfall 2 and it's amazing
First off this video was GREAT! wasn't expecting this quality of writing from a channel of your size and you aced it!
second of all, compliments aside... I feel like yes, the MacBook in a vacuum is great. But once you start comparing it to similarly priced windows machienes the glory starts to fall apart. You can pick up a good specced M1 Max laptop for around 2 grand (British Pound £) and for the same price you can pick up a system with an rte 4080 and an i9-139980HX (and some spare cash onto of that if you find a good deal on one) and those things run cyberpunk at triple the fps. Which, weighing up ALL the benefits of using Mac, its kind of hard to ignore the drawbacks. here, 99% of people will use the battery life argument as a reasoning as to why Mac is better than windows but I want to bring up the screens which for the price SUCK at gaming. The motion rendering and response time just aren't it for gaming (which is kinda important in the context of replacing your gaming pc?)
with that said, great video and hope you enjoy a new sub
gamung pc's and laptop have like 60 to 100fps
good recommendation from UA-cam
geforce now is a thing?????
Seemed to easy ya know? 😂

2:31 is bro at six flags?!
Looks very dark but I know nothing about this topic, talking to many people who definitely do know I don't think apple is worth it for this.
The answer is no
i dont get it steam steam available on mac os
Now, its coming on app store in Early 2025.. I guess my M3 Pro will be able to run it with good graphics
Tried a 2011 iMac to play GTA… didnt end well!
