When she canceled, she's been in the middle of moving to a new apartment. She said there's too much to do and can't make it. She wasn't moving all in one weekend. She said she was making a bunch of trips in her car and she has 2 more weeks to finish moving out. I didn't ask who is helping her move, but it ain't ME getting suckered into helping her move when I don't know her like that.
So we go out on our first date and when the check comes, SHE reaches for the check. I grab her hand (broke physical barrier) and look her in the eyes and said, "no I got it" while still holding her hand. This was probably several seconds. She didn't pull back at all. She just stayed there letting me grabbing her hand.
Then we decided to watch a movie and she was up against my arm at the beginning of the movie and she'd shifted here and there but she'd be against my arm most of the time. BUT as the movie was about to start, I ask her, hey is your phone on silent? And she kinda hides her screen as she checks. Not wanting me to see texts/notifications from other dudes...? Or her gf's texts asking how the date is going...?
I walk her to her car and she gave me a hug to end our first date and she says we should do this again. I said sure we can figure something out and end it. I text her a couple min later saying to text me to let me know she got home safe. It takes about 15 min to get home and she texted that she got home 20 min later. Checks out...? Or is she that methodical and meticulous if she's off to her other dude?
