What is your HOT TAKE for the 2024 college football season?! 🍿
Yall clearly haven’t done enough research if you think Colorado only winning 3 or 4 games 😂
Boise state upsets Oregon in week 2. Then Oregon gets revenge in the playoffs
Cal gets 10 wins and is in the ACC champ
Oregon St and Washington St make the Pac-12 Championship Game
Worst teams in college football, (Vanderbilt, Indiana, Nebraska, Colorado, Colorado State, etc) makes a bowl game and wins their bowl games of 2024-2025 season.
Bo Nix retires from the Broncos to go play for Oregon again and wins them the national championship while also winning the Heisman and then gets re drafted first overall becoming the true legend that we all know him to be
I cant tell if youre joking lmao this isnt legal. Also oregon wont win the natty even with 20 year veteran Bo Nix
@@RadicallyOptimisticit’s very legal get ready for this new trend.
@@RadicallyOptimistic no it’s legal. It’s called “the Bo Nix rule” which allows a player to retire from the NFL to go back to college to fulfill his legacy. It was passed this last November. Read up on your rules dude.
@@Mordecai1399 thank you! I'm glad someone knows the laws around here!
Definitely something he would do.
USF goes 12-1; We lose to bama close (within 6) and we beat Miami at home. We win out and clinch our first AAC Championship appearance and with home field advantage vs Memphis. We win the AAC and get selected for the cfp over a 13-0 Liberty off of strength of schedule.
that'd be cool. it would probably catapult them into the big 12
@@Lachronix Oklahoma state and some others like Arizona wildcats, Utah, and kanas State.
There are going to be two sec teams in the sec championship
Deion aint getting fired. Economic value is more important to some than winning games. Also I would love to see an all-B1G natty after we were robbed of it in 2022. Terrible spot on the Michigan interception and awful no-call in the other game.
Also michigan just played maybe the worst game they have played since wisconson in 2020 and one of the worst in a decade
Bowling green secures a MAC championship with an 11 win regular season defeating Texas a&m and sweeping conference play.
Been waiting for u to post 🔥
Ole Miss misses the College Football Playoff after having a season similar to LSU's last year. Great offense, bad defense
there's a lot of uncertainty with U-Dub team right now but I think they will exceed the expectation and on Jedd Fisch's 2nd season next season, the Huskies will be in the hunt for Big Ten title. Remember with not much in personnel, Fisch always had Arizona competiting with the top teams in the Pac 12 last year.
How about a take on the strength of schedule the University of Florida this season?
Oregon goes 11-1, Gabriel wins Heisman and Oregon wins natty
Oregon State crushes Oregon and their terrible "fans" shut up.
You think oregon is going 11-1 in the B1G, dumb.
@@chrisblackburne2412 a-fuggin-men
When has Oregon St ever crushed Oregon lmao. At least pick a team thats believable
@@RadicallyOptimistic 2004 civil war osu 50 - U of O 21. you probably haven't been alive that long or interested in football
I have one. Notre Dame hosts the first round in South Bend. The schedule is very manageable.
Florida floor is 7-5 and celling is 11-1, and I think they will go 10-2 only losing to Texas and Georgia
Holy shit you are drunk
Michigan beats Ohio State again this season
I am an Ohio state fan and I hope this does not happen
😂@@Tdmayle
i would die laughing
This might be one of the spiciest hot takes: Iowa's offense will rebound under Tim Lester and the Hawkeyes will have a Top 50 offense.
Clemson beats Georgia by 14 goes undefeated, Klubnik or Mafah is a heisman finalist and Dabo get ring number 3
Garrett Nussmeier wins the Heisman, LSU beats Georgia in the SEC Championship and then is the 3 seed for the playoffs
All of the big 10 teams will demolish the new pac 12 teams that just joined ( none of them have really played a defense and just playing shootouts )
Oklahoma makes the playoffs in winds at least one game
Syracuse and Kentucky are severely underrated.
6 SEC teams will make the playoffs, in no order Georgia, Alabama, Texas, Ole Miss, Missouri, and either LSU, Tennessee, or Oklahoma
Rutgers will be a 10-win team this season
Here’s a hot take. Tulane does a faster rebuild than the Houston Texans and go 12-1 to a loss either Kansas state or Oklahoma or they go undefeated with an aac championship and a playoff bid with at least reaching the second new years six in 3 years
my hot take is g-tech upsetting florida st in ireland
Hot take: TV networks will once again ruin the Penn State whiteout game. The games normally announced by now every year but as someone who lives in western PA, NO ONE HERE wants Illinois to be the whiteout, but basically any relevant big ten game the nittney lions play gets absorbed onto FOX big noon kickoff
Totaly agree. They play only osu as a big game and that should totaly br a white out
Counter-hot take to the last one: two best teams are playing each other in the CFP semi-final as it happened in January 2023 with Georgia and Ohio State. Therefore, the Championship Game will be a formality
Texas first year in the SEC goes 11-1 missing the SEC championship but also making the 5th seed in the CFP against Boise State
Would this imply a Bama v Georgia in which Alabama is 11-1 with a loss to UGA and a 12-0 UGA team who texas lost to?
For BSU to make it at 12 that would mean that no G5 team goes undefeated, cuz if Boise goes undefeated that would mean they beat #2 Oregon on the road, which should put them in the Top 4, but if they dont go undefeated I have a hard time believing the committee puts them in over an undefeated Liberty. Plus BSU has an abhorrent historical track record of getting snubbed so I have zero faith they make the playoff.
@Mattbuild4 the only G5 team I thing can go undefeated is Liberty, but there is a very easy chance they lose a game, all the other good G5 teams App st, Memphis, Tulane will at least get 1 loss or more
Me personally i think Colorado has a decent chance at a bowl game or better they have definitely improved through the off season after watching there spring game
Alabama and Georgia play 3 times. Once in the regular season, once in the second championship, and a final time in the playoffs or national championship
Texas Tech(9-3), barely beats Utah(11-1) in the Big 12 Championship in overtime, and wins their first game in the 12 team playoff. Freshman Micah Hudson goes super saiyan winning the biletnikoff lol
Ohio and state and Oregon play each other three times:
Oregon wins the first in the regular season, 27-21
Ohio state wins the second in the B1G championship, 45-31
Ohio state wins the third in the national championship, 41-38
Airforce has been on a very nice up rising in the last few years. Would love to see them make a cool upset.
I appreciate the shout out
I agree with the highest G5 school wins the first round game but it won't be liberty it will be some unexpected G5 team or Boise state.
Could be app state, Tulane, or memphis
Sorry bro please pay attention to what the Buffs have done, easier schedule than last year and they upgraded about 36 players and only downgraded at 4, easily a 6 win team
My hot take is Oklahoma State goes 11-1 to make it to the Big 12 championship game with that one loss being to South Dakota State! But they beat Kstate and Utah in the regular season and then beat one of them again in the Big 12 Championship game and then win a playoff game!
Iowa will have an above average offense under Tim Lester and make it to the CFP with one of the easier big ten schedules
Auburn wins 10 games and makes the sec championship
Clemson somehow manages to go 11-1 and wins the conference title to make it 12-1 and goes back to the playoffs for the first time since 2020
The Heisman finalists will be:
1. Carson Beck
2. Quinn Ewers
3. Dillion Gabriel
4. Luther Burden III
5. Travis Hunter
Utep makes a bowl game and the cusa championship
Alabama shocks the world and wins the natty with KD as a first year coach
Oklahoma comes in and wins the SEC. Adding another conference championship, meanwhile Ollie Gordon takes OSU to the big 12 championship game.
Alabama losses 4 games and barley makes a bowl game. Btw go Irish
James Madison and Liberty end up as the only undefeated conference champs. Everyone else is 12-1 or worse.
Holding it down for the state of VA.
YEEOOWW!! The wonderful beautiful Old Dominion State
Syracuse with a easy schedule goes 10-2
oklahoma squeezes into the sec championship game and makes the CFP as the 8 seed
O state loses to Michigan during the regular season but still makes the cfp and gets revenge in the natty
Oklahoma is going 9-3 or 10-2. We are NOT losing to Texas. LSU and Alabama might have the best of us, and Mizzou is a big toss up. I'm also worried about Tennessee but not too much. Those two will be close games. Auburn literally went 6-7 last year, so it might be a blowout win in favor of my Sooners. I think if Jackson Arnold learns from his mistakes he'll be a Heisman contender before or on his senior season. OU will make the playoffs in 2025 or 2026, winning at least the first round.
Note Dame goes undefeated and makes the college football playoffs semifinal as the 3rd ranked team in the country
They aren't in a conference, so getting a first round bye would be very surprising
Grayson McCall falling off the map, or what I like to call the Tim Beck effect. I do not understand how that guy continues to get employed.
Georgia 9-3 or 8-4. This is really bold but I say 4 of their games aren't guarantees. Ex: Texas, Alabama, and Clemson. I say the only not so easy game the Bulldogs play is against Ole Miss and I can see them dropping this one
Hot Take:
Kennesaw State will win 9 or more games in there first year in the FBS following the paths of James Madison and Jax State
The U will make the playoffs and win 11 games
The u aint even making acc champ
They will make the ACC championship game and be up with 20 seconds left against Florida State with the game won, but run a play instead and fumble it away. FSU scores on the last play of the game and Miami doesn’t make the olyapff
In all seriousness I’m thinking 8-4/9-3 for the U
Tennessee starts 10-1 with 1 loss to Georgia in position to make the SEC championship but lose to Vanderbilt by 14 and fall down to no.12 in the country and miss the playoffs to the group of 5 team(Liberty my prediction)
zona is a hot take...
Washington huskies will have a good year going 8-4 with a bowl game win and or they could pull 10 wins this szn.
Notre Dame beats one of our rivals or LSU (We hate Kelly) in the national championship game and they never hear the end of it. And Freemen is viewed as top 5 head coach and some will say he is better than Day.
Didn’t Kelly bring you guys to the playoffs. What has Freeman done?
That’s if Kelly makes it to the playoffs
Costal Carolina Makes the CFP
Georgia will lose more than one game before the CFP. Either 2 regular season losses with a SECCG win or loss or a regular season loss with a SECCG loss.
Thanks for featuring my comment again! Let's see if I can go 2-0 on hot takes.
Michigan goes 8-4 and misses the playoffs(loses to Texas, Oregon, Trojans, and Ohio State).
Colorado will at least beat Cincinnati or Baylor
texas tech wins the big 12
Iowa makes the playoff and shutdown texas
I like this take
Virginia Tech makes the ACC Championship and wins. An auto bid to the CFP.
The Indiana Hoosiers recaptured their 2020 magic under new head coach Curt Cignetti and get 10 wins
Alabama reloads and makes deep playoff push possible national championship
Oregon state make the playoffs with a 11-1 record with a close lost to our rival Oregon
Clemson losing record. Georgia loses two regular season games. My hottest take is that Wake Forest wins 9 games.
Oklahoma Gets 10+ Wins and Wins Playoff Game
Im baised but Nico goes into Georgia and beats them
Mizzou making the CFP semifinal? Or, not so hot take: More likely their coach is fired.
The only reason i am watching college football this season is bc of the 12 team playoff instead of 4 otherwise i would care less
Texas and Georgia play 3 times
Alabama makes the SEC Championship
Maryland gets 9 wins in the new big ten
Hot Take: Michigan has some struggles with coaching and injuries. Then goes on to win 9 games with losses to Ohio state, Penn state, & Oregon
i don’t think that’s a hot take, it is very possible
HOT TAKE: Chip Kelly is fired after only 1 year at THE Ohio State University🏈
A defensive player wins the heisman
The QBs are so bad this year it wouldnt shock me
Acc champ: fsu vt vt goes 10-3
Arizona win the big 12 with only one loss and makes the cfp semifinal
Oregon State upsets Oregon in Corvallis and ruins Oregon’s shot at a playoff spot.
Maryland wins big 10 and 2 playoff games
Toledo wins the MAC and makes the CFP
Boise state goes 12-1 and beats Alabama in the 12 v 5 game
Wazzu goes 11-1 losing to bsu and makes it to the playoffs
Alabama makes playoffs under 1st year head coach kalen debor one step further is they win it all RTR
Don't sleep on Utah
Louisville beats Clemson to win the ACC. We make the CFP and get to the final four
Louisville is not beating Clemson for the ACC championship
Dang it feels weird to get in a video
Florida Makes and wins a bowl game
I feel like people are overlooking Colorado
I believe Colorado will be overlooked until they hit the 8 or 9 win mark. If they do that this season, next recruiting cycle will be crazy for them with the momentum and publicity surrounding the team. If it goes according to plan, next season could really be the hype train offseason.
@@TheOtherMJ_76 I personally think they’ll start 7-2, and the hype will be crazy, but than they’ll lose their last 3 games
Goofy MFs really want Deion to fail. He’s not going anywhere. Colorado is winning 7-8 games. I said it here first.
Yessir
Georgia Tech beats FSU and Notre Dame and wins 8+ games
Texas A&M beats Texas finishes 10-2 and squeaks into the cfp
That’s not going to happen in my opinion
Rutgers get 10-11 wins and sneaks into the playoffs
Absolute blasphemy man do yk the conference the jersey boys are in😭
Auburn Goes 9-3 and contends for a Sec Championship
If they go 9-3 there is no way the will be the second best team in the SEC which means this like 0.0001% possible
Nebraska shocks and wins 10 to 11 games this season while defeating Colorado, Ohio State, and USC. With a much stronger offensive line allowing Riola to cook. I'll go one step further saying the Blackshirts will have a top 10 defense while the Polar Bear (Nash Hutmacher) becoming a 1st round draft prospect.
Arkansas wins all there trophy games again this year with a new years six bowl. WPS 🐗🐗
