- At the 2023 MG Classic historic racing event at Manfeild Circuit Chris Amon I stumbled upon this crazy rear-engined Morris Marina V8. This is a car I remember seeing race when I was a kid back in the 1980s, and always loved it for its uniqueness and innovation. Its original owner/designer/builder Graeme Park continues to run it in historic racing events.
thanks for your awesome channel dude I absoluley love these kind of cars.
am from the UK I race a similar series we call them special saloons here .
you aussies know how too make some dam fantastic cars....
ive a space frame mk1 escort what my dad and his best mate built an raced in 70's & 80's
I restored it 11 years ago its on my videos on my youtube channel.
watching these videos of yours made me wanna get back to work on it again
thanks for your videos I really enjoyed watching them
keep up the good work
"You aussies..." are actually Kiwis - these people/cars are in NZ.
Nice, there wouldn't have been much driveline power loss with the muncie being directly connected to the differential. Seeing that silver Viva reminded me of the Coca Cola liveried Viva , I suppose it's still out there somewhere . Hearing Tony Palmer commentating reminds me of the good old days ,I wonder what he's doing now?
Clarkson would love the Marina, rear engined Range Rover V8 , wtf !Even he wouldnt drop a piano on that.
Love your work - curious whether you've ever covered the creations of the late Roger Freeth?
Great channel, very enjoyable to see all of these classic race cars as I live in Aus and don't get to see them. What happened to the Addis Charger? always a favorite of mine.
Thanks! The Charger is still owned by Graeme Addis. He is also building a replica of the car from when it was blue and had the motor in the front
Lets see Careless Airways try and catch up with this Morris Marina 😂😂😂
Did Grindley have an olds cutlass tranz am?
