Excellent video Gregor. BB was an awesome looking & sounding car. As an ex-Vauxhall/GM apprentice (Kingsbury London NW9 plant 1972-'76) I have a soft spot for Vauxhall/Opel cars. After watching Gerry racing Viva GT's in the late '60 early 70's I managed to save up my meager earnings to get an early used 1968 GT. The Australian equivalent of the FE Victor / Ventora was the LH Torana . Which was available from the showroom with a five litre V8. It was turned in to a formidable race car and went on to win Bathurst several times. The FE shared underpinnings with the then current Opel Rekord D. Holden obviously paid particular attention to these cars when developing the new for 1974 LH Torana.
