Use this hack at your own risk. These adapters or usually designed for mounting cameras to microphones and I found out it works for my Freedom Sticks.

@@gfire_productions thanks man!! This is a really great idea. I’ve got an extra mic stand I use here and there, and thinking to try this with a Chauvet Wash FX setup on the bolt. Thanks man!
@@MrMaui38 Hey please consider weight distribution. I'm not sure that would be an effective idea for the Wash FX. I felt like it was a cool idea with the freedom sticks because all of the weight is distribute straight down onto it. If you use speaker stands or poes maybe consider getting you some ADJ O'clamps for your Wash FX.
@@gfire_productions I appreciate the words of caution man! I was thinking the same and will definitely test it out first. Figured since the attachment was so cheap it would be worth a shot. I do have those stands and o clamps (which would be my back up option) but just like you showed in the video, the profile of the mic stand is just so much more sleek than the tripod speaker stand set up.
Have you had any issues where your lights toppled over so far on the mic stand set up?
@@MrMaui38 I haven't had any issues with the lights falling over due to where I placed them. They're usually up against some backdrop where there's no potential for anyone to be near them. I definitely would not try to corner off a dance floor or something like that though. People be drinking and will definitely hit your sticks.
