The DJ industry has been impacted by the economic shut down of 2020. Many have went out of business, some are barely holding on, and then again there are those like G Fire Productions who are thriving through these times. With that thought, my overall goal is to help others in the industry build their brands and improve in business and finance through a channel l call "Your Favorite Thousandaire". Hey Gerald, I love the STAR WARS style credits at the end.....And a great message too...NETWORK with others in the DJ game.
@@djpaulthompson right on brother. Thanks for your support also. I really did have fun making this video.
I swear keeping things simple is always the ways to go!💯
Simple is good on so many levels, easy set up, easy take down, keep stress down. Less is more sometimes.
Nice job. It's good to see how flexible you can be with everything from the vehicle to using 2 channels in the K12. Simplicity at its best.
Thanks Gerald. I appreciate your encouragement.
Tight fit! Nice job helping out in an emergency situation- been there done that and always feels good to save the day.
Yes sir and thank watching. Gotta keep the party going!!!
Great job young man!!!!
Thank you Tee Bizz.
That was Cool Hopefully they Tipped you after Saving the Day
Thanks Paparazzi. No tips though.
Very good vlog my brother you made it look easy👍
Thank you Zip.
Super organized and super impressive!
This is some great content man. Good channel....
Thank you Gordon.
Great job. Normally I use my van, but I bought a hatch back (not as nice as yours) for just that reason. Nothing fit in my civic. Last year we had 2 emergency weddings only a week apart. Wasn't sure what we were getting ourselves into, but we crushed them and had the same wedding coordinator at both. Now she is our best friend. You never know what opportunities will arise and you never know when you might be the one needing help. "Let's build our industry stronger together." Priceless.
Thanks bro!!! I have a Honda Pilot but my wife decided sh wanted to drive it that day because it just happed to be my weekend off. When I got that call it was gears turning in my head 1000 miles per hour on how to make it happen. I looked at my Z and started playing Tetris figured out what was it where. Lol I'm glad you developed a relationship with the coordinator. Keep the party going bro!!!
Nice job! Way to make it happen!
Thanks bro!!!
Awesome video! You’re the man I think the EVERSE 8 would’ve been a nice extra especially for the chapel
Thank bro. I 100% agree about the Everse 8, I didn't anthem at the time of the video. I have two now though. Check it out: ua-cam.com/video/hBLTurGxhfI/v-deo.html
Good job on knocking that out and doing what you had to do!💯👍🏽
Thanks Hollywood The DJ. Keep the party going bro!!!
Nice bro! We've done several weddings there too! Great spot.
Word bro. This place is nice. Thanks for watching.
good job brother, and yes we DJ do need to stick together and help each other out , you never know when you can be in a situation like this one , both sides ...new subscriber !
Thanks DJ Josh Galván.
Imagine how much cleaner this setup would look with zipties. I’ll never understand people that use Velcro, you’ll never get that tight, locked look that zipties provide.
Great work in a pinch tho! Venue was way too big and open though - not conducive to dancing
Thanks for watching DJ Solice. I think any look for a set up is subjective. The only people with cares about zip ties vs velcro is us DJs. Besides, I got skills on the velcro lol. Velcro can be used multiple time and zip ties once. You have some great set ups though.
Your venue says Texas, but your accent definitely say’s Louisiana! 😂
Who Dat? Lol
Glad you made this work. Great job!
Thanks DJ Sokin.
Who made the emergency call? The DJ that was originally booked or someone from the Wedding party? That's just bizarre that you'd get a call the day of an event of that magnitude.
It was another DJ company. They're assigned dj had an injury on the day of the wedding and I just happen to be off when they called. In the past I've also gotten calls from the bride both days before and on the day off. Things happen so rather the DJ have an accident or ditch a bride for a higher paying event, If I'm available, I'll cover it. That's DJs supporting DJs and building our industry stronger together.
I didnt know you had the alto sealth pro, damn those are nice!
Yeah bro. That gets me out of some serious cable runs.
I'm fairly confident that I can fit all this equipment into a 2015 Toyota Camry Altise: A pair of LD Systems Maui 28 G3 speakers (in bags/covers) A Denon Prime 4+ controller in a case, a pair of large Moving Head Lights in a case (around the size of a 15" powered JBL speaker) 2 speaker stands (in a skinny stand bag - for the movers) a Chauvet Freedom Sticks X4 (set of 4 - in bag), a small 3U rack case - UHF Mics 7 Furman) 1 4ft table with black or white scrim, 2 LED Pars, and 3 med size back packs.....what are your thoughts
@@djpaulthompson my thoughts are you never know till you do it brother. Honestly I wasn’t sure that stuff was gonna fit in my 370 Z. Lol I don’t own a Camry though so I really don’t know.
How did you fit all of your DJ equipment in your car? A truck is a best vehicle to fit all of the DJ equipment.
Hello Clint. I normally use an SUV but it was a scheduled day off for me so my wife took it. All I had left was my Z. I do event was an emergency so I did what I had to do. I May have to make a video actually loading up gear in this car. lol
Take a paint brush to that Pioneer mixer...... get all hat dust off of it.
Thanks for that bro. One of my local DJ saw that I got on my case hard. Lol. Now it doesn't matter if it's my day off when I finish the gig, I'm dusting all my stuff the next day. lol but seriously though I love it when a professional DJs can hold each other accountable in a constructive positive manner. Thank you again brother!
@@gfire_productions a paint brush works great. Just keep one in your case and have it available anytime. I got the same controller. Awesome!

I see you know your Shure QLXD mics! Have you had any drop outs using the QLXD and would you prefer them over the ULXD4 mic? Thanks
Hello Michael, and thanks for watching bro. I initially wanted the ULXD but Shure said it would be unnecessary for what I do because I’m primarily at DJ type of events. Both ULXD and QLXD use half wave antennas so they’re both or as strong with signal. They also both are metal, body construction, and or net workable. Lastly, they both use shores rechargeable batteries, which met my needs. So I went with the QLXD because it does everything I want it to do for my needs versus to you. Alexis has a few more extra features with information on the screen. Just to be absolutely clear I have used the queue LXT microphones at concerts with absolutely no problems and I feel 100% confident to have that microphone to a celebrity. I do not have dropout issues with these microphones because I do proper frequency, scan and coordination when I use multiple microphones in a given area.
@@gfire_productions My brotha, I really appreciate that information. I only do DJ myself but at times do outside concert events and needed someone to tell me that I do not need a ULXD if I scan my microphones at every event. Thanks again!
What bag do you use for your dmx controller? I have the Rockville rock force w4
It's a case made by Arriba ua-cam.com/video/z7B-pejXsCY/v-deo.html
