Hi. My name is Ameeta. I'm from India and am trying to make this amazing sweater. Only, instead of using a 6 mm hook, I'm using a 4 mm one. How many extra rows would I have to do? Please help!
Hi Ameeta, thanks so much for your message. Unfortunately it's very difficult to predict what size your sweater will turn out if you use a much smaller hook and a thinner yarn. I can provide you with some guidelines but without actually rewriting the pattern it's very difficult for me to give you exact numbers! 1) Make a swatch and then work out how many sts/rows you have in 1" 2) Using your own bust measurement work out how many sts you will need 3) Have a look at the pattern and find the size that most closely matches this number of sts - this is the size you should make.
