Tht I liked for the accemt
Discovered you through Instagram Shorts. This is a beautiful project and the easiest, most straightforward description on how to make a magic circle. I'm a visual learner so will be following this tutorial very closely indeed. As soon as I go out and purchase my yarn and wooden hook.
Thank you so much. I struggle with seaming and get a lot of anxiety about doing it. Therefore I have a lot of unfinished projects! This tutorial is very helpful!
I am struggling so much with sticking with the correct loops in the slipstitch 😢
Did you crochet or knit the sweater you’re wearing? It’s just gorgeous. If yes, I would love to know the pattern!
Hi! I wanted to purchase the yarn you link to, but it looks discontinued or something. Could you possibly share a new link of the same or similar yarn? Thank you, dear!! By kids and I loved your video and can’t wait to start crocheting these mittens!
Hard to understand. Talking too fast
This is awesome! Thank you!
I think the stitch is called herringbone stitch
I am unclear...when I start the double crochet section, shall I start from which part or is it the same? Thx. Very nice hat!!!
This is not hard, just tedious and it is ok...
Something tells me i can hack this....once done i will be back to report 😅
How many chains pliz
this is exactly what i needed, thank you so much!!!
Thanks for the great tutorial, your voice is like butter! Love your accent! 😁💯
Thanks so much for this beautiful pattern. I got almost half of a scarf done. Sadly the sides of the scarf are a little „wavy“, I can see that tendency in the first few rows that you do too, bit your final scarf looks so smooth. Do you think its about consistency when it comes to how tight/loose you crochet? Usually I crochet really tight and even, for this I try to do it more loose so the scarf will be flexible, but I think maybe I‘m not doing it consistent enough so my sides get those little waves. 🙈 anyway, love the pattern, thanks!
I can’t tell what 3rd loop you’re talking about. I know ribbing can be done with sc in back loops. To say 3rd is confusing
Hi. How many chains approx for adult size? Also, about how many chains for child size? Thank you
Thank you for the lovely Tutorial 🎀🤍
sorry if I missed it in the video, but how long does it take to make an adult s size?
How much yarn is used in grams ?
Where did you get the crochet hook you are using and what kind is it?
I am going to start this!! But I wanted to have long sleeves since I have long arms and don’t want a quarter sleeve. How to I go about making it longer in the sleeves? Also, is it possible to make this without the ribbing at the ends of the sleeve and bottom of the sweater?
Thanks for the very clear instructions Sarah. I am an experienced “regular” crocheter, but new to Tunisian. This is a great project to get me acclimated. I have my hooks and yarn and am anxious to get going! I have the pdf of your Tunisian Christmas Tree Pillow and my goal is to be proficient enough to make that.
You are so welcome Karen, thanks so much for your comment :-)
I have been trying to get the free written pattern on your site, but nothing works. I’ve created an account, done everything, and it’s not working. The only thing I want to know is how to end the scarf, do the finitions. Because you can’t just stop like that, the long single crochets make a big stich in the back (it’s not the case at the begining of the scarf because there is row 1 and 2 before the repeat row). Please can you explain how you finish the scarf ? Thank you so much !
So, I actually did just finish mine off on a Row 3 repeat! If you don't feel like it is neat enough, you could definitely experiment with just a simple row of single crochet at the end. Let me know how it works!
thank you , do you find the lace mattress stitch lays flatter? you never showed the back side is it less bulky? thank you again
Hi Susan, yes the lace mattress stitch is definitely flatter at the back, you don't get the same "ridge" as you do with the regular mattress stitch
Thank goodness for the video. The pattern on the web site is so full of adverts, especially a giant sized one from a certain Asian firm flooding the market, I'm only seeing 4 rows of the pattern at a time. Thank you so much for this lovely pattern. The mittens worked up gorgeous for my little toddler grandson. So glad I the video. ❤
Glad it was helpful!
Nice crochet work easy to do. Thanks for sharing
You’re so welcome 😊
Are you skipping a stitch on top and on bhottom?
You just skip the stitch directly behind the long sc (when you work 2 rows below), and then the next stitch is a regular sc. I hope this helps!
Thank you so much for the video tutorial and the written instructions. I absolutely love this stitch and had fun making this basket! I used Bernat Maker yarn, and it turned out beautifully. I enjoyed learning from you and your lovely accent!
You are so welcome Tammy!
When I do the hdc increase in the previous row, is that considered a stitch to do fpdc or bpdc in the next row? Thanks so much!
Yes that's exactly it!
Hello, I love this pattern! But I have a question, once you reach your desired length, how do you "close" your work?
Hi Federica, I didn't do anything special to close off, just cut the yarn and then pull through the loop! You could try a row of single crochet the end if you think it needs it :-)
❤❤❤❤❤🧶👋🏾
Thank you 🙏🏽 ❤
You are so welcome!
Amazing ❤
Ooh I'm in love with this linked stitch 😍 I've never seen or tried before and it's so lovely, I was looking for an ear warmer and gloves so thank you very much xx🎉
You are so welcome!
Thanks for sharing
My pleasure!
Love the gloves but it was impossible to see your invisible join far too small to see hoping it shows it on the online pattern. Thanks.
If you go to about the 10:40 mark on this video it should give a much clearer picture of the invisible join :-) ua-cam.com/video/v_aHzQ-gPcI/v-deo.htmlsi=mLjqtkiz_HLr4O-m&t=638
Love the colours love the whole thing lol.
Thank you!
Υπέροχο!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
I want to try it with dk yarn can you recommend and inexpensive yarn. I like Hobbii. Please and Thank you
Something like this might work if you are looking for a DK weight, there are lots of color options too :-) hobbii.com/highland-wool
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Beautiful, thanks for sharing 👍
Thank you too!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤
You know when you look at something well made and it's so pleasing to the eye. The colours are beautiful. Look forward to making this one
Thanks so much 😊
Where can I find the written directions?
The written pattern is here: nedandmimi.com/chunky-crochet-basket-pattern/
I love this!! ❤
Thank you!
Love the scarf but I’m having a hard time seeing the stitch and when to turn over, I think it would be better to use a multicolour yarn so it will be easier to see
Thank you for the feedback! You will turn at the end of each row so hopefully that helps :-)
Hi Sarah - which hooks are you using in this video? They don't look like the Furls that the link takes me to?
This is a good question! These are hooks that I have had for AGES, I got them at a craft fair but I think they are called KnitPro Zing www.knitpro.eu/en/crochet/zing-crochet
