Travis great video. I had to laugh when you were making "old man" noises at 38! I purchased a 1966C10 last year at 78 years old and found all those muscles I hadn't used in years. Looking forward to next video. I installed new push on style door weather seals from LMC and am having difficulty with doors closing properly. Please include Honda door weather seal part numbers on next videos. Thanks for all you do!
Thanks for video. Watched to the end. Looks great. Can't wait till I get to my 1960 Apache Stepside and also my 1960 Apache Suburban . Keep em coming. Truck Driver Ray.
Hi Travis. I dig watching your videos, great info on mods and parts. I wished you wire wheeled the rust, and rust inhibitor painted. It kind of bummed me out, not cleaning up. Later.
Do you think it would be necessary to add a seal behind the kick panel block-off plate to prevent the chance of moisture entering the truck? I know the deadener is being used, but I would imagine that over time, moisture would damage the glue if it seeped through.
@@markb.2498 you can add a seal if you like. The sound deadener should get the job done. From the factory the holes aren’t sealed completely and I don’t see much moisture.
Thank you for the tutorials Travis, do you think the location of the speaker in the kick panels would be better at the top of the panel to keep the speaker off of the floor and out of the line of the foot? ?????
@@frente2zapatista if you’re not going to have vintage air then yes it would be better off the ground. This design is made specifically for people with vintage air so it doesn’t hit the air conditioner box attached to the firewall.
hey travis, why didnt you put the retractor bit of the seatbelt in behind the door jamb in the pocket bit? Does your sub box not allow you to do that? loving all your videos and info.
@@angusbrown1991 I’m not exactly sure what you mean. I’ve always mounted them there they are at. If you follow me on instagram or facebook shoot me a picture of what you’re talking about. I mounted them where you normally would if you had the gas tank behind the seat.
