Florence Nightingale was a nurse helping the wounded while serving in France . In fact, my great grandfather, who served in the Crimean War, was treated by Florence Nightingale and eventually recovered and was awarded The Victoria Cross for his bravery ❤
She was actually more of an 'administrator' as she kept details of what the Tommys died of by inventing the pie chart to show the Donkeys who led them that infection was more fatal than bombs, shells and bullets! Being a Scot I would have thought you'd have know that where the magistrates court stands there used to be a building called Exeter House. Famous for being the building that Bonnie prince Charlie stayed in when the Jacobites had taken Derby on the 4th of December 1745. It was also there that he called a council on the 5th where they made the decision to turn back to Scotland, having been falsely told of a massive government army blocking the route to London.
@@Necrovamp101 I lived across the road from the magistrate court. The street was Exeter place the block was called Exeter house.
