In today's video I showcase what $100 USD can buy you while traveling London, England. London is known for being one of the richest and most expensive cities in the world but does that mean you can't travel here on a budget? Throughout the video I showcase prices for out hotel, transportation, food, and some other cheap/free things to do.
London is an incredibly charming city and highly recommend visiting

As a Londoner I can tell you, you got ripped off by being in central and doing all the tourist traps. Get out of zone 1/2 and you'll save a fortune on food and drink. You'll also get cheaper hotels/hostels, and it's only £3 to get back to central and back
They did the free stuff though...
@@baz1184 the hostel, the food, the pint. They were far more expensive than they'd get outside central
Food outside zone 1,2 are not cheap anymore pal, I live in London and my work is done in various boroughs of the city so I can tell that’s wrong right there
@@johanrijhkelaar3627 aha you're right. it's the purpose of the video too. that's like saying don't buy fish and chip by the sea front anywhere in the UK because it'll be more expensive
England is world problum left like Palestine kashmir Jews and hindu friend of england👹
great video! A few things from someone from England, the queen doesnt actually own all the swans in the country just the ones on certain stretches and tributaries of the River Thames around Windsor, also Big Ben is the name of the bell that rings or the old bell or something :)
Yeah, Big Ben is the bell within the Elizabeth Tower
i just came to correct him about swans.... My Free Tip. Take one or all of the three bus routes in london. Route 24, 9 and 11
Brett-Your series is so informative and you are personally so engaging and so much fun. When I was younger, I lived and travelled in Europe. As a senior citizen with health issues, I can no longer travel. Therefore, I enjoy traveling vicariously through your different series. Thank you for bringing back many fond memories!
Just to let you know most of what he told you is a load of shite
“Walks into attendant coffee shop”
Me: “May I use your toilet?”
Employee: “You’re already in it.”

Great video, always love to see your travel stories from around the world especially with budget information like this. London is so amazing, great place to visit.
the amount of quality, editing and effort going to every single video is AMAZING, you deserve way more!
Yaah you are right
Fun fact about sweet stores is that in the UK we have a lot of American sweet shops which tend to be fronts for money laundering. If they dont let you film in it and its empty, its probably a laundering shop
Awesome video man! Honestly London doesn't seem as crazy expensive as I expected it to be!
Glad you enjoyed your visit lads! I wonder where our next beer will be ✈️🌅
Great vlog, thanks for sharing. London is great 😀
I'm happy you guys visited England! 👍🏽 I wish I could've met you guys!
I love these videos so much. You've inspired me to make these kind of videos too when I travel.
Big Ben is the name of the bell that chimes. Also the candy you bought we call Pick n Mix you can buy in most towns or cinemas in the UK. Great video though. The fish and chips looked great. X
It's the great bell inside the tower that's nicknamed 'big ben'. Love the videos!!
And the sun was shining Brett which is a plus,
Just one thing Irun brew is a traditional Scottish soft drink you won't see any londoners drinking it.
Glad you enjoyed London👍
So happy that i just discoverd your chanel! I never went to London, and now i’m actually planing to, & after this vlog i think i have really good idea about everything i needed. Big thanks! ❤️
Loving the Europe content Brett!
Getting to know about your channel is the best thing happened to me this year.
Love from Nagaland, Brett.
“This area is like the Times Square of London”
No it isn’t, that’s Piccadilly Circus.
Londons fish and chips isn’t recommended, fish and chips is recommended on the coast of England where th fish is fresh.
Yeah right, i was like "uh no, this ain't like Times Square of London".
Exactly, fish and chips especially in central London is horrible and overpriced
You do realise the fish in fish in chips is frozen right?
@@andymcphie3008 No it isn’t, used to work in a chippy in hull, fish caught the day before and we’d batter it ourselves and fry it fresh
@@kamaaljones258 Fried battered fresh fish is different than fried battered non-fresh fish?!?!?! It doesn’t matter if the fish is fresh because after it gets battered and fried it ain’t exactly health food. And how much would it cost to travel to the coast to get that extraordinary fried battered fresh fish?
Great video, as always
Great vid. Happy to see irn bru make an appearance since Im Scottish myself. Suprised you didn't visit sky garden in London would loved to have seen some of your shots from there! Keep up the good work👌
54 nice my dear but today i really need u to save me im broke this year because of a problem of behavior disorder and it is difficult for me to find a job so i beg u the best with respect to found me 5ghc for food help please
Another great on in the series!
As a British-person the natural history museum is one of my favourite museums! Its so incredible
good videos! such a refreshing to see it especially durning the post COVID-19.
If you are still in london at time of reading this, go to LaBakery in kingston. Great italian type coffee place.
Also big ben is technically the bell in Elizabeth tower.
Also also, irn bru is scottish (where im from) 👍 just sayin'
i love your videos .you deserve more than million subscribers
Time and money used wisely, glad you enjoyed your stay…we have much more to offer!
Great video - Irn Bru is a Scottish delicacy and the fish and chips are a must for anyone visiting from abroad. There are tonnes more free things to do in London - Sky Garden for views, Kyoto Garden in Holland Park for relaxing nature, Changing of the guard, Markets, Street Art, a beach in Hyde Park, so many free museums and galleries I can't even begin to list them all. Have to try the street food on the south bank as well :)
567 nice my dear but today i realy need u to save me im broke this year due to sickness so i beg u the best with respect to found me 5ghc for food help please
Thank you Mr. Conti!
One of my favourite cities! Thanks for this video;)
66 nice my dear but today i realy need u to save me im broke this year due to sickness so i beg u the best with respect to found me 5ghc for food help please
Hope you read this my man! Irn Bru is actually made in Scotland. It’s a Scottish soda. I believe Scotland is the only country in the world where coke or Pepsi is not the number 1 soft drink. You’re right though. It tastes like candy. 😅😂
He said U.K. drink… last time I checked Scotland is in the U.K.? I mean that’s the whole point of saying the U.K. and not referring to the individual British countries🤦♀️
@@costintoma4319 thing is. You can get it everywhere in Scotland. You cannot get it every where in England. So I say it’s a Scottish drink. I believe it’s made in Scotland.
Great video, Thank you for sharing 👍
I love this young gentleman ❤
Amazing content bro
The pubs look so nice 😍
I stayed at Astor Hyde Park Hostel (the same you did) back in 2014. A great place to stay where many drinks were had. So happy to see it again out of the blue. Made me very nostalgic ❤️
I really loved this video, thanks for you. I will visit London 👍🏻👍🏻
Love seeing others exploring my home city!! Irn Bru really isn't a traditional British drink though - more Scottish and basically orange liquid sugar. Also 'everyone seems like they really like to drink out here'...yep, we do love a bevvy or two..LOL
Interesting, are you a Scottish person who doesn't identify as British. Or an English person who thinks British is synonymous with Britain. Scotland is part of Britain so what is popular there is popular in Britain. ..? No?
My favourite candies/sweets you can get in the UK are
Fried eggs
Pink shrimps
Milk bottles
Strawberry skulls
Strawberry cables
Jelly tots
Fruit pastels
Parma violets
American hard gums
Chocolate...
Double decker
Boost
Twirl
Drifter
Vice versas
Buttons
Mint Aero
White Lion bar
Turkish delight
Terrys chocolate orang
Feast (ice-cream)
Welcome to my city! Hope u had a great time!
that was really short and turistic london tour, happy to show you more places next time you stopped by that will blow your mind my friend... under 100$
Big Ben is the name of the actually bell that chimes in the tower 👍🏻
Brett it is good vlog & very informative 🥰🥰🥰
Lift transition is dope
I love your videos so much❤️❤️❤️Greetings from Finland

Haha listienng to Brett Conti describe the "iconic" Tesco Meal Deal. Not something I'd ever thought I'd hear.
My first time I traveled to London as a broke traveler this was a life saver
@@brettconti you could make an entire video about the Meal Deals of the UK 😅 in fact I'm sure someone has! Awesome video man.
Meal deals are a life saver for a cheap lunch
@@brettconti Big Ben is the name of the Bell and not the building , since 2012 the tower has been known as The Elizabeth tower
Awesome to see you over here in the UK. Hope you enjoyed it!
Boring fact: Big Ben is actually the bell inside the tower 😂
I went to the Attendant, very cool and great coffee, it was like 100 degrees out so the air con was spot on
My 7 yr old Grandson uses your videos at school for all the cool stuff u go see..Gabriel loves watching these with me and seeing how cool some of the other places are in the world…Thank you SO MUCH for all you do to make these videos and to make all of us smile!!!
I’m going to be heading to London in November! This video was so great to watch! Thanks Brett!
Me too! Super excited about it 🎉
Beautiful time of year to go
The way you say Tesco is brilliant ! Also with a mcdonalds in the UK if you keep your receipt you get a big mac and fries for £1.99 next time
I was in London 2 days ago! So nice to see many things in your video that are still so fresh in my memory.
Ah cool, how did you find it?
@@TY-sx3jb I stayed only 3 days in London, and the city is awesome. Actually, I would be very happy to live in UK
@@ronaldorp Glad to hear you had a great time - if you want to explore more of the UK I’d recommend York, Bath, the Cotswolds or somewhere in the Lake District! :)
@@TY-sx3jb I'll keep your tips in mind for the next trip to London... Thanks! By the way, I invite you to check my channel on youtube :) ua-cam.com/users/ronaldorp

Great weather for running!
Love your video !
Wow)! It was a really interesting video! I love the UK!
Informative video , keep up the good work bro . Also wanted to know where you got your tshirt from looks cool.
AMAZING VIDEO!!!! OUTSTANDING .......
Nice video mate 👌👏
great video. "Highly reccomend to watch ")
Amazing video
Great series Brett, you should come to Lisbon Portugal !
I am very impressed by the actual price of thing you got for 100 bucks, I thought it was going to be a very tight budget challenge but it seems you can have a nice week of vacation in London for less than 2000 dollars
54 nice my dear but today i really need u to save me im broke this year because of a problem of behavior disorder and it is difficult for me to find a job so i beg u the best with respect to found me 5ghc for food help please
Definitely won’t get a week in London for 2k, you’ll probably spend close to 1k on a hotel/accommodation unless u go somewhere like easy hotel
@@RDY1110 It's a 10 minuite train journey to outer London where you can get a nice hotel for 10% of the price.
@@mildlydispleased3221 damn 10 minutes. I live in Zone 2 and still, it takes me 15-30 mins by tube to get anywhere. 1 hour to outer London and 60% of the price that you would get in the center is more realistic.
@dominikdangel6083 The Tube is really designed for short-distance journeys. I live in Zone 5 but I can be at Clapham in 8 minuites, London Bridge in 10, Victoria in 12 and King's Cross in 18.
Love the series! Please Try Stockholm I wonder how far you get
Not very far
Big Ben is the name of the bell located inside the tower, it's nice to do some research before setting off to do sightseeing...
London is my dream City I am from India and one day I will live in London
dont live in Croydon
Important question! What were the candies that you purchased that were so good!!
Beautiful London
The V&A is also Amazing & it's Free.. nearby is the Famous Store Harrods..
You have to check out the Chocolate hall / Food halls
New subscriber from Jamaica 🇯🇲
Told y’all where ever this cutie goes the coffee is a waitin👏🏾🥰👏🏾
Brett, shout-out from Bangladesh!
One of my favorite YouYuber.. Watching from the Philippines.
Underrated channel
I would love to see Windsor Castle.
I really like your series because it shows that if you can sort of break yourself away from all the "Toursty" must-do things, you can visit other places of the world on a rather cheap budget. I mean if you can do say $100-$125 that would get yo ua decent day and a place to sleep in many places. Of course some are way cheaper and your money goes further, but as I think you said in one of your videos, the way some people travel the world and are able to afford it is they do things like this -- they dont necessarily go for all the tourist traps, and by making your own itineraries and walking or buying a bus/train pass, you can really save a lot of money that you can then use to experience the place -- like food, etc, without spending a ton of money. I would say if you did this route, the most expensive thing would probably be getting there (flying).
please do philly. i live near there and i’d love for you to do that. thanks! 😊
American cities are ugly, corporate cesspits compared to almost anywhere in Europe
Thanks mate 🇮🇳
I’m not gonna lie Brett, this is such a great series! It inspires me to do one like it in Austin Texas!
I was saying the exact same thing when i seen this pop up in my feed, will be doing one on Dublin and a few other places :)
6th street would be the spot!
But why with sooooooooooo little money, its not like I would ever travel with just 100D per day,... ?
@@Funky420Infotainment thats not tye point its too see what you can get while enjoying yourself
@@ZachValentini 100D in London, wont even cover a cheap hotel let alone entertainment or food,... If you have no money dont go to London,...
2:10 "Big Ben" is the nickname of the Great Bell in the Elizabeth Tower. Some people say the bell (and by extension the clock tower) got its nickname from Sir Benjamin Hall, who oversaw its construction. Other people say it was nicknamed after former heavyweight boxing champion Benjamin Caunt. The bell weighs 13.5 tons, and is the second-largest bell in the UK, after 16.75 ton bell in St. Paul's Cathedral.
These challenges are my fav! You should keep doing these in each country you visit
Welcome Brett 🇬🇧
I once had that orange soda irn bru in a Scottish market another drinks I enjoyed was vimto both were excellent
You mate a hero.
Hope to comeback in London and explore more, my four days stayed here is not enough.
Hey Bret! Where are those glasses from? Cool! In 5:21
Recommend staying at an LSE Hall (LSE Vacations), can stay in a single room on the cheap similarly to a hostel
The edit at 5:14 was 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Can't wait to visit!
Hi bro
Amazing video😐
Cool video. Can you give links or names of shops or restaurant that you visited in this video?
Irn bru is traditionally a Scottish drink! You should visit scotland next :)
I love watching budget travel videos. My goal in life is saving money and putting it to good use and NOT blowing it in expensive things that I don't need. I can make $100 last for 3 days #budgettravel
Come to Lusaka, Zambia. I’ll be your tour guide!
Flat iron is banging! and you get free icecream!
I hope I could visit Europa 🙏
I could enjoy the atmosphere of London👍
Appreciate it 🗾
I'm in love with London ❤️
The hostel is actually quite good 👍 been there
Irn-Bru is a Scotland’s national drink
Some of those sweets you can get everywhere in the UK! :) And depending of what you you want to eat, drink and how you want to travel around.....you can do it for less! :) great video!!!
Wow that's 2hrs from me crazy that you were there
$100 can get Brett from London to Oslo with some change 😎
