As a fan of 90's Necromunda, seeing the "I'll be a traitor" Arbites back in the game is a huge joy for me, and many like me, no doubt :-) I'm still waiting for the Spyrers to make an appearance, and see how much they've been "evolved" from previous incarnations. I'd still love to see Mad Donna Yulante reappear, too, as she was one of my all-time favourite characters back then, and after she married Kal Jericho (In the novel "Lasgun Wedding"), she just got so much better in my opinion :-D Seeing the Arbites released in Kill Team is a bit of a let-down, but I still like the new look, especially the Gimp mask head :-> I'll probably get into Kill Team now, just so I can play Arbites, as they were pretty cool in the 1990's, and look pretty fierce today, with their awesome new weaponry and armour :-)
I got the old Arbites set, which included the squad leader "Exactant" without the speaker phone, a grenade launcher and three shotguns, so the choice for me is pretty simple for the rest...
10:48 you say they don't include a base for the speaker except they do they give you 12 25mm bases 10 for the drukhari 1 for the dog and 1 for the speaker and then you get 10 28mm bases for the arbites. You made have been missing a base from your box or had one go rogue when you opened the bag of bases
Hey! Looks like your composition is almost identical to mine (the only exception being that I chose a different gunner). I hope they're decent - if not, I can now pretend its your fault, so win-win for me.
Since the Arbiters can shoot into close combat, I thought most people would build them half melee, half shooty. Throw the shields into close combat then start shooting the opponents they are engaged in.
@@rolvirata9003 I didn't actually take any gameplay into account when I built them. I just picked the ones that looked neat. I'll probably get a second box down the line and build them all as shield-boys though
@@tabletopskirmishgames Yeah matey, i literally had a friend in Australia order me the last metal Klovis the reedemer and Raf caller and Rat god minis. They were discontinued in the UK and the week after our order were discontinued everywhere else
I lucked out and got two boxes. Meaning to sell one but really tempted to do so without the 2nd set of arbites and keep them. So ive got 2 sets now, how do i build them to not only have my pick for an excellent killteam BUT i also plan to make them to use as a boarding patrol squad (agents) with my cadians. What would you do if these were your two sets?
That's a tough one! I like the shields and I think I would go for a squad where they are all equipped with them. It would look awesome in the Gallowdark setting. They'd also be great at securing a hatchway or tight corridor. I would need to look closely at the 40k rules for them, though. I also really like the terrain, and if you don't have the previous two sets, it might be worth keeping both Soulshackles so you have the option to play boarding actions.
Actually, having seen this, I know I’d much rather spend the money to get two or even three sets of Arbites rather than the Drukari (honestly they might never get built anyway, not a fan of the Eldar in general) and more standard wall sections. Do want that book though, hope GW fast tracks that at least.
At 12:15 my man is REALLY excited about the gimp mask
🤣

Looks like you can build them all with some magnets! Got some Dredd heads and shoulder eagles to really pump these guys out!
I think you could
This video was a necessity for this team
this is so cool i got a feeling i might want to get more then one set since my ocd isn't going to let me pick i want them all
It would be fun to have all the options for these. I would like to try running 4 Subductors so I might magnetise some shields on to two of the others.
@@tabletopskirmishgames oh that sound like a good idea :D
Great idea with medic dog thank you :)
Nice one, thank for watching too!
This video helped me so much!!! Thank you👏
Awesome to hear, Maxime, thanks for watching!
Thank you, I’ll take 2 boxes for all options ;-)

You also only need 9 bases for the drukhari since you can take the leader and 8 guys
That makes sense only needing 9 operatives for the Drukhari
Great video 👍 Thanks
Getting mine today and was hoping for this video. Thanks!
Edit:
Btw FLGS link isnt working for me.
Perfect timing! 🥳 I tried the link and it works for me. It goes directly to their Facebook page maybe that's why it doesn't;t work for you?
This is a two box team just build what you want and you can make it up when you get the team box itself.

Awesome! Haha I'll take one for the team 🤣

Great video, my man. Very useful 👍🏻
Glad it was helpful, thanks!
Soooo another one that you’d need two boxes for all options? is it possible to split a second box and still get most options?
I think you could split a box and make it work.
Can always cast your own copies with blue stuff and Lego, just a suggestion.
@@tabletopskirmishgames really? I’ll have to check seemed like I’d need full box
Great guide. 👍
Thanks, Matt!
I can finally use my metal adeptus arbites from the 90s and 2000s
That's so cool that you have the original models!

holy shit this is an amazing video, tyvm
Thanks Double Bear!
This video was awesome!!!
Great to hear, thank you for watching!
Bring out the gimp! xD
🤣
Not to sure about the gimp kask head (nor his data card! Safe words, indeed). Otherwise seems solid enough.
Yeah it's bit weird that one haha
i dont have huge hope anyone sees this comment, but where does that mat come from? i want it :c

I have into the dark already So now if i keep the box ill have 3 total.
Just magnetize, it was surprisingly easy. Used 3x1mm magnets
I’m glad I ended up getting 2 boxes!
Nice one!
Now you’re just trying to make me cry.

I'll be posting the Drukhari video today. They came out nice but they do all look very similar.
