@@Spruegityou say that as if it's a waste of money to spend money on a game that you enjoy building, painting, and playing? Regardless of being good or bad it's very clear that Jay finds a lot of joy from what he does and we enjoy watching him, heck id even enjoy watching him play the game even if he doesn't win. The minis and terrain are gorgeous and I have no doubt he'd bring a ton of enthusiasm to the battle reports regardless of the outcome of them
I think Jay has said in the past that it’s too much work to make batreps…. That being said I’d enjoy any kind of battle report from this channel.

You had mentioned putting together a tyranid killteam using 2nd edition tyranids, I hope that is still in the works!

All of these teams look amazing. Seriously jealous! Those Fellgor especially, such a simple palette but so striking!
In case you haven't seen them, Reptilian Overlords teamed with Wargames Atlantic to make a box called "SpaceNam," which is pretty transparently 3rd party Catachan models!

My spacenam minis are a proxy Goliath gang with all the heavy and special weapons options. They fit perfectly with my other, old gangs, size wise. The new Damned from WA miniatures will make a great Chaos Cult gang with all the options as well.

Cornstrach + water mixture on the texture rollers helps keep the clay from sticking on.
Semi-Pro tip: just run the stealth suits as a phobos strike team.

With the chaos space marines, I found a video from Games Workshop on painting Alpha Legion that works great of just leadbelcher then contrast paint on the interior to get through the chaos legions quick.
For the Genestealer cult, try them out in Necromunda as they're fun there and the games are more narrative.
@10:51, that model Sylvia Brando is from Victoria Miniatures. I have it as well and it was a joy to assemble and paint. VM has a bunch of female guard heroes and troop choices available. I also have the GW resincast Sly Marbo and he was a pain to assemble but painted up well. Those Space Wolves are awesome! On a side note, Victoria Miniatures also has a Monty Python-ish The Spanish Inquisition set which should be included in every Imperial Agents list, they're just that awesome.

Hey jay ! If u use the rollers again try using kitchen foil. Put it on the stuff on the base and then roll. The roll stays clean and u can peel the foil straight off

Would you ever think of doing a larger T'au Battlesuit, like Crisis or maybe even some of the other larger ones? I've seen how you paint and I am absolutely in love with it, but have been struggling to apply it to my T'au.
I've yet to play a 10th edition game and only played about two games in 9th edition when just learning. A buddy of mine suggested kill team has a easy army and game to play. Enjoyed this video to see what my options are

I started collecting Kill Team when the Arks of Omen launched, and i currently have 13 kill teams, though a couple are still not built yet.
I like how the Eldar models are lore accurate, as in fragile.

I painted an alpha legion kill team, I did a zenithol with a bright silver and used speed paint on all the non trim areas super easy barley an inconvenience

I find myself looking at my first kill teams and wanting to repaint them but I was new and my paint is think and I made really dumb loadouts because I didn’t know about warhammer or list building so I’m at this cross roads, do I try and strip the old stuff and start over or do I just buy a new box and re- make my team with good units and paint them better as I have improved

How do you play with the kill teams, you assembled your self? I am new to kill team and believed you can only use the the kill teams they sell
Alright hear me out. If you want some nice looking and somewhat unique Chaos Marines, you can prime silver/gold, and then paint the insides with a contrast/speed paint. Then, your trim is already done, and the end result for your army is a murky, dirty looking metallic color of your choice. It's the technique I used for my Word Bearers up to and including a Helldrake, and it saved me a ton of time and I'm very proud of how they turned out.

For a Catachan killteam, I actually just use the Kommando Orks rules but with catachan models, it all works and fits in much better for the roided out catachan

Pls check out the catachan proxies from "wargames Atlantic"! They are called "spacenam" I think. It is a really awesome sprue. I also like their "Raumjäger Infantry". If you want to build an imperial Army, please consider these Minis!
Buddy, if your 3d prints are too fragile, just mix some ABS resin into the mix. I can drop some of my printed minis without sweating over it.
Fellgore ravages will be next new army in 40k. Not emperors children I don't like slannesh, but they deserve a proper army and I feel like this will be it

In my experience painting 1000 pts of Emperor's Children, I don't think there's a way to cheat the trim. The best cheat I found was to basecoat the gold parts with Jokaero Orange as one thin coat, and then the second coat is with Retributor Armor. It's faster than layering gold forever, but it's still really slow. I think that's why Chaos Space Marines have their reputation as one of the worst armies to paint regardless of your skill level.
Do I remember wrong that you painted the Inquisitor team from Ashes of Faith?

I’m pretty dissatisfied with hierotek circle so far. Broke parts on about half the models just trying to cut tag ends off, they are so fragile. I’m hoping veteran guards are more durable, planning getting them next. If they are as cheap and fragile I won’t buy any more

So, will you buy a couple of Landspeeder Storm's and Stormspeeder Hailstrikes, so you can Kitbash them into single five soldier carrying landspeeders?
Because then you have some five person Kill Team transports.
You could thus use a speeder 5, a speeder 2 & 3 or even two speeder 3's, in terms of folks manning said Landspeeders.
Are three kill teams, allowed and if so, would the leader unit be per kill team or for all of them?
That dog is fun, I can a Inquisitor having such a dog, same for a Rogue Trader
The drone is also fun, I can see some Mechanicum member using drones like that, because said member hates the flying baby drones, unless said drone is actually said mechanicus member, but then where are the tech-tentacles???

A Kill Team fast travel board?
Can you arrive at the target or get out, fast enough?
Then you can even have bigger game boards, where the objective is getting your Kill Teams from location A to location B, while killing off the hostile Kill Teams, while other armies are trying to do the same, but in protecting their own Kill Teams and killing off all other Kill Teams.
Would even let you put your Black Templar Kill Team Speeder(s) into your normal army. lol

The stealth suits are such good models, but they suck so baaaad
But you havent made a FULL TWENTY MAN ROSTER for each of the teams you have made so you can't properly play the game because you're supposed to have a 20 man roster you pull modesl from before the game and your limiting yourself by not doing so. Plus Making a 20 man roster gives you anywhere from 10-14 MORE GUYS to Write detailed Backstory and fluff for and create lore around...
But if you don't want to do that I guess you could just build one loadout and be hooped if you need a different loadout in a game.
