Wow Tim! You didn’t tell us it was a waterfront property! LOL. Looks like you’ll have to “borrow” some gear from the high angle rescue department for getting up and down that hill. Plus, now you might have you’re first job if you decide to get a mini excavator, digging yourself a French drain to get rid of that excess water. Thanks for the tour, looks like a fantastic spot you’ve got there.
Your mission as a father now you have that property is to make up the spookiest scariest ghost stories to tell the kids around the campfire... that creek looks like an ideal setting for some of those tales...
Pray that it doesn’t rain too much more. I did the same with the rye grass on my side yard and it was looking promising and then when had SO MUCH rain between Christmas and New Year and when I returned home from visiting the parentals it was all dead.😢
I imagine the overflow pipe goes to a soakaway, which implies that the seal at the top is leaking or that the soakaway is blocked and backlogged. Normally, soakaways are relatively deep and lead away from the storage to prevent what you're seeing???
@@turfandtools nice one. Try dawn or dusk for the deers too Tim. Maybe construct a hide with a camera on. At least then you won't crunch your way to try and spot them 🤣
Ahoj Time! Mnohé se dá pochopit i z viděného. Někde tam dochází k velkému úniku vody a ta trávu utopí a je z toho kousku trávy spíš bažina a to je moc velká škoda. Přeji vám hezký víkend! Stále se něco učím 😊. 👍👍🌿Jana 🌿🏆👋
City guy buys country property. Should be enough comedy for ten years of videos. Those little pellets are called “smarten up pills.” Try one and you’ll find out why.
G'day Tim, 6:34 Don't eat it Tim it tastes like 💩🤢🤮 I lived at East Heathcote for a few years & there are Deer in the National Park there too, they were brave though just walking the streets in the afternoon/evening
Developing a few trails down to that creek would be a great video series, keep it as natural as possible
I love these vlogs. What a beautiful piece of property. So much to explore. 🇺🇸
Thanks for the support
I would love to see some trial cam content😀
Amazing property. Thanks for the tour.
Make sure to get a cover for the pump
Looks like a beautiful property you have Tim and lots to learn from it too.
set up some trail cams and see the wildlife coming through, you'd be surprised
Exploring, thanks for taking us along, Tim Beautiful property, Love the mossy rocks.
That's just beautiful. Yup, I was thinking you might want to mark a trail so you can find your way back. Lol.
this is exciting to me. Congrats on your new property, Tim
Thanks!
@@turfandtools I haven't watched the whole way through yet, will there be a full video on the CAT place and filming testing one or two out?
there is but unfortunately there is an approval process
@@turfandtools I look forward to seeing the video as soon as it's approved haha.
Going to be very interesting to see what you are doing with your new property. I can see another series coming up Tim.
This is the series! 🙌
I love this - the new grass joy and the tour of your beautiful place
The area is lovely! Your little trek in the bush sort of looked like the beginning of a ‘found footage’ movie 😆👍
Blair witch vibes 😂
@@turfandtools 😆
Looks like you have a lot of fun exploring to do :)
so much!
Try tapping the pump. Sometimes, they can seze up when not used for a while it sounds like one I have connected to a tank at our rental
Will give it a go 🙌
@turfandtools no problems. Keep up the great work on the block. I would love to have something like that
Need to set up some trail cams. See what’s going on
Not a bad idea
Gorgeous property
Thanks Melissa!

Mate your property is amazing!
I would be building a mtb trail back there for sure 🫡
Thanks for the tour around the property! Looks like things could get wild when it floods...
We are plenty high enough. It’s just down the back which isn’t useable anyway 👍
What a spectacular place. Im in awe.
Are you planning to do any work around the back of your property where all the debris is where the trees are? Would love to see that
I’d love to but it’s actually classed as restricted development zone so there isn’t much I can do with it. It’s nice to live near though

Damn 😟
Congrats on the new property Tim! Fair way away from Box Hill is it - where are u based now?
Cheers mate. Not too far 🙌
It might behoove you to get a new pump and then see if you can get the old pump working again and keep it as a spare.
Hey Tim,
The overflow pipe may be going to a rubble pit underground as per council guidelines or to storm water but kind of doubt that.
I find out about them tomorrow so I’ll do an update 👌

Could be right! I get the rundown on the tanks tomorrow 👍

Had the same problem with my water pump, if you can try manually turning the fan with a screw driver. Make sure it’s off tho.
Is this near Galston? It reminds me of the bush behind my childhood home in Hornsby Heights (top of the Galston Gorge).
Not quite 👍
Turn that pump on and give it a few stiff whacks with a rubber mallet, just sounds seized from sitting for a while
Was this a sub-divided property? It seems weird that this is such a big property with a massive shed, tanks, garden and chicken coop and no house.
It was a business premises and they had a few hobby things here
With that slope, it feels like there's definitely some scope for a zip line for the kids...
now that would be intense!
Where is your property ....We have 3 water tanks & 5 pumps 🤪 ..you'll learn quickly how things work & what works 👍
Have you brought Maggie out and let her run and explore yet?
Absolutely! She loves it
Pump just needs a new capacitor 👍
Lot of property maybe a lot of ideas what. to do with it
How much property are you on there Tim?
about 4 usable acres
I am sure you will use each and every one of those…..so pleased you have found your piece of Aus. Love your work Tim.
Breaking news Lawnmower Man has been missing for 3 days after chasing deer stay tuned for updates 😂😂
😂
Harry butler in the wild
Feels like I'm watching The Blair Witch Project!!!😱😱😱
Definitely has those vibes
Get another tank mate you can never have enough water.
I’ve got plans for a big one down the back 👍

Much braver than these ones!
Dude………Deer can hear you take a breath on the other side of a pane of glass, so you just sounded like a herd of elephants….
😂
Don't take up Deer hunting....!
you'd be crazy not to on his property and their numbers are out of control
@@Leo_S94 We will go, but leave him behind...!!
I tried seeding my lawn but the birds came and ate all the seed before it could germinate
They do love it!
Turn that pump on and give it a few stiff whacks with a rubber mallet, just sounds seized from sitting still for a while
I'll give it a crack
