regarding the shaft you were trying to remove: it is reverse threaded (turning clockwise loosens it). I have removed them but never without marring the surface. However, they only cost a few bucks to order new from Daiwa, and their customer service was excellent.

Yes it's a bearing I found it in a pile of extra parts that I have lying around It's easy enough to measure it with calipers and ordered some online I will probably do that Thanks for your comment
Hi, I Measured the bushing on my reel. It’s 10mm OD, 7mm ID, and 5mm wide to replace with a bearing. I looked all over the Internet, and could not find one. Maybe my measurements are off. Could you Measure your bearing to my calculations and post it. I even tried McMastercar with no luck. Thank you
Hi I will measure it in the morning Mine has one bearing on the pinion gear and 2 brass bushing on either side of the crank gear I found 1 bearing that I had lying around and it fit I would like to get another one myself I don't think it will make a big difference on this reel I find if you oil the shafts not grease them and polish them very clean before oiling it will run very nice Of all my spin cast reels I have the smoothest is an abumatic 150 It has zero bearing only bushing I will let you know when I get it measured Thanks for your comment!
I just measured my bearing This is the format of the dimensions when you search for one 7 mm inner diameter x 13 mm outer diameter x 3 mm width Again 7x13x3 The bushing has a shoulder where it fits in the side case Mine fits great on the shaft and side case I searched on eBay and they are available I ordered some for myself Hope this helps

There may be differences in similar models Mine is a gc80 Goldcast 2 Made in japan
