It's like everything, TV, internet, and magazines-(years back maybe) tell everyone what to use, what's best. Maybe if Zebco heavily sponsored a fishing show, you'd see the "pros" using and bragging up Zebco equipment as the best stuff to get the fish. Where I live, lot of fishermen. Quite a few not doing it legally, but they're the ones pushing the hardest bush to get into hidden trout brooks n streams. Even though they're flipping the bird to a fishing license and staying with the bag limit, they want fish. Lots of fish. And they want to pay as little to get em. You know what they use, what always works. Those cheap ass rod combo's at Canadian Tire, the ones where the whole rod n reel is in the sealed plastic. The trout spinners are bought at the gas station for a $1.86 each. Dig the worms, and then git-er-done! Filling a plastic Save-Easy bag faster then the game wardens can catch em, faster then the pros and their high end nonsense can work on a show. I don't fish or hunt illegally. Not worth the fines, losing my stuff, jail, whatever. But I noticed growing up what "gets it done" pushing out to those hidden brooks n streams through dense brush, bogs, and muskeg. A simple cheap solid bush rod, and a spin cast reel, with cheap gas station spinners n worms. My 1983 Zebco kids model still works, but I wanted something newer n nicer. I bought a Bullet. Absolutely love it. Just don't bust the plastic button.
40 combos, but I beat my 3 Bullets to death for 3 years before ever deciding to clean them, which is why I found your vids only now. 8 rods in the boat at all times, including 2 Bullets but 90 percent of my bass fishing accomplished with those Zebcos. Two double digits landed with 12lb fluorocarbon. Want to buy more, but only if one fails, which hasn't happened yet. Thanks for the cleaning videos.
Really great abrasion resistance and though I've never put the Big Game line ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxQ4x31pJVpClzhxzNFeILZYTW7Xbs7ZIF (any poundage) through an official test it always seems to break well above rated poundage. This line stretches a very good amount before it breaks and does well in saltwater too. Not the best line for a spinning reel in my opinion, especially if you're planning on using it for lures only due to it having a bit of memory but still a great line whether filling a spool, using as top shot or strictly for leader line. I've bought a bunch of Big game line in the past and plan on continuing to do so in the future.
I agree, it is puzzling why there isn't a better selection of high quality spincast reels. They are particularly handy for fresh water kayak fishing where messing with line issues is a real hassle in the limited space of a kayak and speed of the cast retrieve cast cycle is a real asset.
My dad would buy zebco 33 at magic mart every 2-3 years all he ever fished with, caught largemouth smallmouth catfish everything with it never complained
I spooled it with 8 LB test mono for lighter lures, gave it some practice casts and found that it did cast well ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxSlytCJqozTF7EbdP4LWP-HUXf9WRDJ0e , except that the anti-backlash setting had to be turned up almost all of the way to keep the "overcasts' ' down. I disassembled it, and found that if I potted some "shim washers" behind that anti-backlash magnet assembly, it got the magnets closer to the spool without rubbing, and I could get better control with about a 6 to 7 out out 10-Max setting. I also noticed that the handle shaft had some internal end play, maybe only 2 or 3 thousands of an inch, but it's still noticeable. If the anti-backlash and shaft tolerances were "tightened up" this would be a fantastic value. I've only used it for 4 days of fishing in a month's time, but I plan on keeping it.
Thanks for the review of the Zebco Bullet. So glad to see other fishermen who are promoting the Zebco Bullet reels. In the last 6-7 years I have learned to love Zebco reels, particularly the upper end models like the Omega, Omega Pro, Bullet and the 33s, like the Platinum. I have learned that the modern Zebco 33s, 33 Max, 808, 888s can all be super tuned by replacing plastic bushings with a stainless steel ball bearing. It has allowed me to upgrade many reels making them that much better. This past week, I fought a 36-38 inch 16-20 pound steel head on the Salmon River with my Zebco 33 Max Black which I had super tuned. It performed very well for both casting with 20 pound test or back bouncing a Tadpolly. You can even buy the AR bearing and add that, if you want, on many of them. I need to check out your other fishing videos. Thank you!
Thanks for stopping by and sharing boss! Zebco reels don't get the respect they deserve and are plenty capable of catching trophy fish. Fighting a steelhead with a Zebco would be a dream. I really like the whole "super-tuned" Zebco concept. I'll have to try it out! I think it would be cool to upgrade one of the reels with ceramic bearings....maybe the 808 and do some serious offshore fishing with it.
As a kid in the 50’s who struggled with “bird nests” in my baitcasters, I was thrilled when Johnson reels came out with the nearly all metal Century and Citation. They were dependable, user friendly, and easy to clean. Later on I liked the Daiwa Goldcast series. I pretty much snubbed Zebco reels even though the super cheap 202 and the higher quality 33 were functional and would serve a lot of fishing applications. However, when Zebco came out with their quality, pricey, and good looking Omega Series, I was hooked. Don’t have a Bullet, but I’ll definitely check it out.
I grew up on the Zebco 33. The 404 is in the 202’s to me were just junk but I learned to appreciate the 33. After watching this video I know I had to go buy me a silver bullet thank you for sharing and I wish They would do a better job at marketing it
I agree absolutely love the spin cast for unexpected fishing!! When I say unexpected I mean when I see a lake I haven't been able to get to come accessible I jump out of my car with my small tackle box and fast 6foot rod and fish an hour or an hour and a half of time away just to get a thrill and that is shore fishing !!! You hit the nail on the head !!! I now keep a backup thumb button and it's not hard to replace once you've done it !!!!!
Yes...Zebco has recently turned the corner with their spincast. I catfish with round baitcasters and stuck my neck out and bought a 888 and was very impressed. I caught a 27lb flatty and a 34lb blue with ease the first week i had it and it has 30lb of drag...ON A SPINCAST!!! and a buddy of mine is a bass fisherman and he literally hung up his baitcasters and uses bullets mainly due to their retrieval rate.
I didn't realize that Zebco makes a high-end spin cast reel. My dad went out and bought a bunch of old, cheap Zebcos and they are junk. This sounds like a great option for him though! I like how you used it for 5 or so months extensively to get a great idea about it before reviewing it! Nice job!
Not gonna lie, I had no idea this reel existed! I feel like I have to have one now though. And I agree they should definitely be pushing the higher end reels! Thanks for sharing
@JB Outdoors I've had mine for over a year. Zebco's have always casted good but the bullets retrieve is just as smooth and quiet as my abu garcia ambassador. My complaints are that it'll make about any rod combo very nose heavy so it makes it seem even heavier. I do not like the rubber button and it tends to slide around if your thumb isn't centered on it when casting. I've been experimenting with an old 5'6 rod with heavy guides and taped a 2oz weight to the butt to help counter balance the combo. I'd really like to try a graphite 5'6 rod with micro guides to get the nose weight as light as possible before counterbalancing. The 5'6 rod I've had it on lately would still take nearly 4oz taped to the butt to balance the combo lol
@@nashvilleoutlaw This reel is perfectly matched with a medium/heavy bass rod 7ft or longer or a Salmon rod. You should go for the Omega Pro ZO2 if you intend to use a high end spincast reel on a short rod. It is significantly smaller, much lighter and just as strong.
I fish 3-4 times a week (from shore and my boat) and have gone through every conceivable type of setup... spinning, baitcaster, bamboo cane pole, and of course the Zebco 33s spincasters. I now have settled on the Bullet on a 7’ Scheels Pro Angler rod and I think I’ve found MY perfect setup(s). Incredibly accurate, and can cast it a country mile.
I found the zebco omega Z03 PRO to be just as well built and as impressive as the bullet, I love em both and give them a 5 star review! These 2 reels are big boy reels!! Not the cheap shit that many think are. Don't knock em if ya ain't tried em! Never have any issues (like when using a baitcaster)
@@overratedprogrammer I have both Omega ZO3PRO and the Bullet. The Bullet casting/retrieve is smoother but not by much. the Omega thumb stop feels spongy. I feel like I will break it. Other than that a very solid reel.
After watching this video I purchased the Zebco bullet and also bought a okuma celilo 8’6” rod. I can’t wait to try it out. Soon here in Michigan it will be steelhead fishing season. Thank you posting a video on this setup.
Good review. I have four Bullets and one Bullet MG. The oldest two are four years old. One has failed. I mailed it in to Zebco for a repair and they actually sent me a new one. I have three baitcasters that I just cannot get it down. One is a Shimano SLX that is supposed to be practically backlash free. For the time being, Zebco Bullets are all I use on my kayak. Since my wife is fishing more she is about to inherit a Bullet and I am gettng another MG. There is no way I would want to deal with backlash problems on a kayak.
I've never taken these types of reels seriously but these are Impressive improvements. It will be interesting to see how much better they get over time.
Me neither, I always looked down on them. The Bullet opened my eyes. Plus its just fun putting up nice fish with a push-button reel. Thanks for stopping by!
Joe, thanks for stopping by. I just completed and posted my review of the Omega Pro. It is a super solid reel for sure...probably one of my luckiest reels ever. It just attracts fish.
the quick change reel is a plus … we learned on the Zebco reels back in the day as did many young'uns in the sport. Agree that Zebco should take your advice to be more competitive in the marketing arena with the other high end reels. They are losing out on the memories with Zebco and using that to their advantage when marketing for sure. Love the straight shooting review. I hope Zebco hears you especially Made in America! #Zebco
I use a Zebco 808 (left-handed cranking) on a heavy rated 5'6" bass pistol grip solid glass rod, spooled with 25lb line for Lingcod off my plastic kayak.
I bought this reel a year ago and took it many times with me on the boat but never learned to cast this thing. The timing of the release is very different than spinner or baitcaster. Release is not immediate like on other reels. Pressing the button takes time and my release is always late and it flies to the left. Also this thing is tiny but weighs almost 1 pound. Weight is absolutely shocking. The spool cap didnt need to be metal maybe. Other than that i actually like it and its very smooth like u said. I just dont know why i cant learn to cast it. Great review dude, very well done!
Killer review!! Made in America!! Sold!! As always your editing blows my mind! And a truly honest review! Thanks again brother! Lemme know next time your in Washington we’ll go fishing!
Zebco has a few high end spincasting reels actually the Zebco 33 can handle up to 12 lb monofilament line, the Zebco 808 can handle up to 20 lb monofilament line, the Zebco 888 can handle up to 30 lb monofilament line, and the Zebco big cat XT can also handle up to 30 lb monofilament line. And also all of those spincasting reels I mentioned have all mental internal gears so they are built to last the long haul and honestly I think the only reason people think spincasting reels are for kids is because spincasting reels used to only be used on ultralight setups but that really isn't the case anymore. I have been fishing for 25 years of my life and I still to this day prefer spincasting reels and monofilament line and recently I caught a huge lake sturgeon on my Zebco 888 with 30 lb monofilament line also the Zebco spincasting combos are prespooled with Zebco Cajun line which is their higher end line.
I have 3 of these bullet reels that i use for carp fishing have caught mid 20 pound fish with no problem they need to hold about 20 yard more line then would be really nice ..just put on braid to try n get more line on .
Had Zebco reels all my adult life after learning about Zebco. I had mostly 202s, repaired 202s I owned. Some other models, just not the 33, don’t know why. I used a 202 to catch a bunch of peacock bass in Panama. Best assignment in my USAF career. If I still went fishing, I’d still have Zebco, and at least a 33. PROBLEMS? Thank Brunswick Corp., they have farmed out most of their products to you know WHERE!
I have an Omega Pro and I’ve caught a lot of fish in the river with it. I’ve never had the bullet but would like to one day. I recently bought a new reel at Bass Pro, a Daiwa Regal 2500. I’ve used spinning reels before but had never had one myself, they are a little more finicky to use but I really like the smoothness of them. I’m sure other reels on the market have that option too but I love the fact that you can order any part for any reel that Zebco currently makes.
I agree. I've had a few spin reels but always just grab a Zebco 33, lol. I just like the ease of the spincaster. I've caught hundreds of fish on the cheap Zebco's. Some of my friends are finally into fishing and have boats and only use baitcasters. I get it but I'm a Zebco guy. They laugh at me too, lol. I'm about to buy a Zebco Bullet. I'm registered for a tournament here on Guntersville Lake. If you're listening Zebco start helping some of us ole school, "Push Button," fisherman out. Give us something to brag about to the baitcaster crowd! Send me some tackle to sample too and I will make content with reviews.
Yes, great evaluation. I use spincast reels 90% now, after decades of using every kind of spinning, bait casting and level wind. I use spincast reels only on pistol-grip handled rods; if the fish are heavier, I double-hand (left-hand handled reels) the forward and rear grips when working a fish (switch hands on the grips).
Now if they made this in an "underspin" configuration it would be perfect. I prefer the ergonomics of the spinning rod with the reel under the rod, but I prefer the simplicity of the spincast reel, particularly if you are driving a boat and fishing. Zebco had a real good underspin reel in their old 33 Model series but in their wisdom discontinued it. Really like the interchangeable reel spools!
I bought one of these last year and it's been a great reel. Except for yesterday. I find my trout spots using google earth, and I was involved in a pretty substantial hike to get to one- tangled, swampy terrain about 3 kilometers in, one of these places where you're really hoping it's gonna be worth the work. I get to the first pool and it looks awesome: deep undercut banks, beaver dam on the outflow, everything's telling me this place holds trout. So I go to make my first cast, and the handle comes off in my hand. Somewhere along the way I'd lost the crank rod nut and cap screw on the opposite side of the reel, where you'd put the handle to reverse direction. I was lucky I hadn't lost the handle as well. Compounding that frustration, Zebco's website doesn't have a page where you can just order the parts- you have to call or send in an email to describe what you need, and hope somebody gets back to you. I sent in my parts request yesterday, so we'll see where that goes. If you have one of these reels and you don't plan to reverse direction of the reel, my advice is to put loctite on the crank rod nut and cap screw or you could find yourself in a fix like I was in yesterday, and worse, you might lose the handle too. Depending on how Zebco handles this situation, I'd buy another one of these reels for my backup kit.
Whoa! are those roller pickup pins? Never saw that before! If you fish salmon, I recommend you pick up the Zebco 808 Saltwater. It's a beast. Great for big hands.
Thanks a lot. I’ve been wondering if it was worth the money. I think I’ll get one now. Also you should check out the king cast Brutus spincast. That thing really kicks butt.
i been using the bullets for about a year now for bass fishing and i use 40 lb braid. Not much problem casting but my line started to break right at the reel. After much investigation i found the braided line was actually cutting a grove in the aluminum pick up spool and eventually cutting my line. If using a bait that causes a constant heavy drag on the retrieve ( spinner or crank bait) it will eventually cut into the spool if using an abrasive braided line. This would be an easy fix for zebco engineers by putting a stainless steel lip around the spool for the line to drag across. I also had some issues with the oscillating spool linkage failing.
I had the exact same problem with my bullet but never used braid, only mono. I wish I'd taken a photo to send to Zebco, but my spool had a groove worn into it directly above both the pickups. It was really messing with line release and was also damaging the line. Brand new with a 3.5 Hildebrandt willow blade on the line (very light, only a few grams), you'd press the release and it would fall right to the floor. With the damaged spool, you press the release and it would just hang there. I sanded the crap out of the spool, took about an hour to get both sides smooth enough for clean line release. So I agree 100%- the spool should be made of stainless- I could care less if it weighs a bit more. My reel is only a couple years old and shouldn't have major wear damage. Almost all my fishing is light spinnerbait in streams and rivers. One other noted flaw was the cap for the reversible handle- that fell out one day and made the reel useless, with the handle basically falling off. Of course I was about 2 km into a river hike when that happened. My advice there is, if you don't plan to reverse the handle, pull that cap and reinstall with a dab of threadlock.
@@patrickmowatt8560 Had the same thing happen on my bullet and the 33 platinum I have . I now have a diawa 4000 spinning and a shimano 4000 spinning . they work the best .
Love these reels I a few and they don't like braid! I use only mono and they are Great reels! I take button off and carefully rap the whole thing in foil believe it or not and it strengthens the button. Make sure you get the foil around the small tabs.
My senior dad caught a 25” snook and 20” jack on the stock mono with 25 lb mono leader in the Sarasota Bay. So he didn't get spooled at all and this thing was singing drag like a heavily tune.
Thank you for making this video. I'm currently looking for a new reel and I think I will pick it up now. My zebco 33 platinum didn't even make it past 2 month's.
Great review brother. I would love to see your salmon and steelhead videos, I really enjoy fishing and watching videos on them. Left a 👍 from the North side. Adrian
Thanks for stopping by Adrian. Yeah I’ve been so busy hunting and fishing and working. I need to get caught up and throw some good old fishing vids together. Thanks for stopping by!
I live in Charleston SC, went up to Appalachia Virginia to do some bass fishing...hooked me what we call "Citations " or trophy fish...inset the drag to high and it snapped the hook right at the knot. Ive been sick to my stomach for 4 days now
That's the worse! These reels have very unforgiving drag systems when it comes to big fish...I had a very similar thing happen with a real nice rainbow. The knot broke right at the lure...well its experiences like those that keep us going back out for redemption.
Tell ya what, I am a serious steelhead angler, and I only use the ZEBCO ZO3 OMEGA PRO, and caught my 50th steelhead of the season yesterday using that great reel (spincast) it ain't no beginners reel, it's built with incredible quality and will last me years! 5 stars!!
I've thought about having one of these on a Telescoping Rod and store it under my seat for those Emergency Fishing Spots that you find while you're out and about! I currently have a traditional Spinning Reel on my telescoping rod but it gets banged around too much.
I love the Bullet. Thanks for the videos about maintaining it. I've always wondered why people want to mess around with tangles. I also love the zebco gold trigger underspin. I would like to see zebco make a competitive line of underspins.
They should make a bullet-style underspin....all-metal high end goodness. That gold trigger looks awesome, glad to hear you're loving it. Thanks for stopping y, and good luck out there!
The 808 and the 888 are as big as they get. But you do bring up a good point, I think it would be a good idea if they enlarged their spincast reels ,the companies that build the baitcasters make perty good size, I know that some of the internal parts are some type hard plastic, but they might do better if they were machined internal parts, it might be that they want to keep costs down
As someone that doesnt like beating the hell out of my shimano stradic in the canoe i think this review has me sold on one with a 7ft medium heavy Johnny Morris carbonlite rod
Check your spinnerhead, the braid has cut into one of mine. Maybe a smoother braid like Slick 8 would have been a better choice than conventional braid. Unfortunately it’s about $40 for the part, best just to stick to the Cajun mono line it comes loaded with. Great review again!
Thanks for sharing boss, I'll keep that in mind for my future spincast reviews. I should inform people that there are reports that the braid can damage the reels. I agree, its best to run mono in these reels. I usually just run braid for the review process. Have a happy New Year!
Glad to see spincasters getting props! Anglers need to respect all gear and methods. Kind of annoyed by 9 year old "bassmasters" with youtube channels calling $200 reels "budget friendly" because their mommy bought it for them. Ok, I'll calm down now. Anyways, glad you took that bullet through some thorough testing!
Hey man haven't seen you in a while, welcome back! I've never used a spincast reel before. I definitely prefer the 5.1 speed reels, 6 feels too fast and I can always just wind faster if I need to anyway. I do like the quick change spool idea! Great review, quite in-depth and honest (as all reviews should be)
+RKJ Fishing The day job has been keeping me pretty dang busy and away from the Tube unfortunately. As we head into winter up here though I can refocus. I think a good quality spin cast would serve you well. Thanks for stopping by!
Someone may have said this already, but the higher end Zebco brand is Quantum. However, if you are talking specifically about spincasting reels, then yes, you are correct.
Nice review. I do like mine and it works great but would really like to see a smaller lighter weight version (more of a Z02 Omega Pro sized version Bullet).
Thanks for stopping by. Glad to hear your reel is working out. I agree, Zebco needs to expand and improve on the Bullet/Omega Pro line. Basically, they need to give more attention to the serious angler. They’re probably making a killing off the masses who buy a couple combo rigs and fish twice a year.
Brian I agree they need to do some weight reduction... probably should have called it "The Mortar Shell" instead lol. But it's so bad out of balance tapping 2-4oz to the butt of your rod actually makes it seem lighter and easier to cast 1 handed.
Zebco line is not bad. Bit of coil but same diameter as trilene xl. Soak the spoil in water 24 hr take tag off coil gone and save big. Spincast reels are great for skipping docks . Only drawback is line capacity.
Zebco probably isn’t making a “killing” selling cheap combos at Walmart. Walmart procurement and “rolling back prices” is why Zebco had to move manufacturing to China. That means razor thin margins. I grew up on “cheap” Zebco and Shakespeare rods and reels. One of my favorite combos to this day is a cheap (made in USA reel - the rod doesn’t say) 404 combo I bought in about 1993. I have other nicer rigs but I keep going back to the old 404. Just bought a like new 30 year old Made in USA reel just like it on EBay to have for when mine won’t work anymore, if that ever comes.
Welcome! You are buying a souped-up zebco 33 with a few minor changes. I bought a Zebo Omega and it's a souped-up Zebco 33 with more bearings. They're excellent reels but not very smooth casting with them. They feel like it's holding back their smoothness. Shimano bait cast is just as good. But casting out is better than Zebco anytime.
I have 4 omega zo3 pro reels, they are a million times better then those cheap 33's!! I like em better then my baitcaster!! 7 ball bearings and all brass/metal gears, it ain't no beginners reel!!
Charles, thanks for stopping by. I just dropped a review of the Omega Pro today. Besides being excellent, it's probably the luckiest trout reel I've ever owned. It landed me a beautiful 21" rainbow.
I changed the handles over to reel with my left hand. I just can’t stand casting with my right hand and reeling right handed too. It feels much more natural to reel with my left and cast with my right. I don’t have that problem with my other rod and reels because I set them down after I cast and pick it up ready to reel with my right. It seems so far the only rod and reel I can catch fish on is the one dollar Zebco combo I got from the Flea Market. When I first got my Zebco 33 on the Striper Ugly Stick I caught a good size bass the first 10 minutes of use and haven’t caught anything on it since. It’s me, I haven’t been fishing in so long I just need to relearn and maybe unlearn some of my old fishing habits.
I don't understand why all these "fishermen" on the internet hate zebcos. They've been catching fish since all these haters have been alive
I use to turn my nose up at them too like a fool. Now I realize the truth. Thanks for stopping by boss!
Caught a 30lb+ channel cat on a 33 classic and rhino rod never had issues with a 33.
They're too proud to use something cheaper and that's not popular

I have too. Still do. I use a 606 and catch up to 5lb florida bass all year around
Robert Papps Thanks for stopping by, hopefully one day they get serious about spincast reels.
This is why I’m looking at getting one. Kayak fishing paired with a 5’ rod.
My dad would buy zebco 33 at magic mart every 2-3 years all he ever fished with, caught largemouth smallmouth catfish everything with it never complained
all i use are zebco reels mostly 33's and have one bullet and love it i fish 6 days a week
Glad to hear, thanks for stopping by!
I only get 2 days a week dude you are living the best life truly!!...
WHAT ??????
You can tune a fishing reel? Consider my mind blown.
AR bearing? Which is better? Steel or ceramic?
After watching this video I know I had to go buy me a silver bullet thank you for sharing and I wish They would do a better job at marketing it
Thanks for stopping by and sharing your thoughts on the 33's, 404's and 202's. Yeah they have so much potential with the Bullet!
I've used a zebco 33 pretty much my whole life and had a blast
benjamin dover Zebco certainly has been getting the job done for years. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.
Cost to performance ratio is about right.
do yourself a favor and buy a cuban yoyo. way better than whatever shit youre fishing with
@@afetuspancy2075 wrong zebco has made some fantastic reels
Nice job!
They certainly tailor to the budget market and put out some cheap junk. But this reel is awesome. Thanks for stopping by!
Not gonna lie, I had no idea this reel existed! I feel like I have to have one now though. And I agree they should definitely be pushing the higher end reels! Thanks for sharing

@@CastFromTheHip well then.. well done as always..
The kastking brutus are really good smooth reels and with 5 ball bearing have 3 of those also at 35dollars not too bulky and a good casting reel
Love me some zebco they been fishin since we all were in our daddy’s ball bag
Thanks for the video I was looking to purchase a Zebco.
Thanks for stopping by, they're proven reels.
Mike Tiehen Thanks for stopping by and sharing. Glad to hear! I must say I love using the Bullet, I hope it serves you well. Good luck out there boss!

@@fan4life34which is better the omega pro or the bullet?
@@overratedprogrammer I have both Omega ZO3PRO and the Bullet. The Bullet casting/retrieve is smoother but not by much. the Omega thumb stop feels spongy. I feel like I will break it. Other than that a very solid reel.
After watching this video I purchased the Zebco bullet and also bought a okuma celilo 8’6” rod. I can’t wait to try it out. Soon here in Michigan it will be steelhead fishing season. Thank you posting a video on this setup.
I always thought the Zebco 33 was the best but thats awesome they come out with a Bullet and an Omega
Love your videos and very well done. I own 4 open face spinning reels, but I love my Zebco Bullet MG.
I had an old bullet back in the 90s. Its come a long way.
It’s a great reel! I think the next addition will be the perfect spincast reel. Thanks for stopping by!
Awesome video man.. About as in depth as I have seen on a reel like this .. Very cool. great work!!
+RcNickster Thanks a lot!
I love my Zebco Omega Pro - now got to get a Bullet! I’m becoming a real fan. Nice review.
#Zebco
Love the quick, get to the point video - Great
I use a Zebco 808 (left-handed cranking) on a heavy rated 5'6" bass pistol grip solid glass rod, spooled with 25lb line for Lingcod off my plastic kayak.
Sunny Island Thanks for stopping by and sharing! That 808 sounds like plenty reel to get the job done!
At 2:50 You can see the retrieval rate, as he cranks, you can see the line circling at a faster rate, as its coming out of the front cover.
Nice unboxing and review
Killer review!! Made in America!! Sold!! As always your editing blows my mind! And a truly honest review! Thanks again brother! Lemme know next time your in Washington we’ll go fishing!
Absolutely man! My dad and I frequent the Cowlitz so I’ll have to hit you up when I’m down that way. Thanks for stopping by!
I appreciate the review. I ordered a Bullet combo with a 6'6" medium rod today.
Nice Review! Im now suscribed. Thanks for the aware in the plastic component, I will order with anticipation 2 pieces.

I have 3 of these bullet reels that i use for carp fishing have caught mid 20 pound fish with no problem they need to hold about 20 yard more line then would be really nice ..just put on braid to try n get more line on .
this is a great review. i love reviews with this detail!!
Great fishing good video fish big super!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for the honest review.
Absolutely fantastic video nicely done my friend
fishing equipment🐟🐟🐠 have a nice day🐠🦈go ahead🐬🔔🔔🔔thanks for sharing.
I use spincast reels only on pistol-grip handled rods;
if the fish are heavier, I double-hand (left-hand handled reels) the forward and rear grips when working a fish (switch hands on the grips).
Great video man thankyou. Best review of the bullet. Subscribed
Lmfao I’m so glad I found this video I was literally thinking someone had to have made a nice button reel and you just opened my eyes 😂
Thanks for checking it out!
Awesome video thank you my friend
Zebco back in the day was top of the line
Thanks for you time!!!!
Thanks for stopping by!
Nice review man, an all metal reel. Sounds like a top performer, awesome!

My favorite rod and reel combo is my zebco 808
Nice!
Always use spincast myself. Liked your comment about high end spincast reels. Most of mine are around 4:1 ratio
Zebco is first trusted for reels for me.
We need Zebco to start making the 33 like they did when I was a kid! Seems like the expensive ones are built like the old ones from the 90’s.

They should make a bullet-style underspin....all-metal high end goodness. That gold trigger looks awesome, glad to hear you're loving it. Thanks for stopping y, and good luck out there!
I hear the Zebco 888 is good too. Does not know, because I have not tried it yet.
The 808 and the 888 are as big as they get. But you do bring up a good point, I think it would be a good idea if they enlarged their spincast reels ,the companies that build the baitcasters make perty good size, I know that some of the internal parts are some type hard plastic, but they might do better if they were machined internal parts, it might be that they want to keep costs down
Thanks for the review I just order mine.
Dang it I own 5 now thanks a lot all because of you
Haha well I hope they serve you well. I should call Zebco and ask for a commission. Good luck out there and thanks for stopping by!
just picked up a Zebco spincast combo as a backup but I think I'm gonna make it my kayak rod/reel. Might upgrade to the Bullet if needed.
@@CastFromTheHip Happy New Year All!! Great reviews loaded with useful content as always. Thanks for all you do!!

Someone may have said this already, but the higher end Zebco brand is Quantum. However, if you are talking specifically about spincasting reels, then yes, you are correct.
mtg42c1 Thanks for stopping by and sharing. Sounds like it’s time for a Quantum Spincast reel! I should’ve mentioned Quantum in the video.
Thanks for stopping by. Definitely agree that they can use more line capacity!
Awesome video friend .....
CastFromTheHip
Zebco is a awesome company
Nice review, thanks

Hey man I was wondering if you would make a video about the new profishiency sniper spincast
In the works!
Just bought the Omega Pro today for my ultra light rod.
