  • How do you optimize your oral and dental health for greater brain health and performance?
Your mouth is the entrance to your body. It’s where digestion starts, and arguably, is where all body health starts. There is a critical relationship between your mouth, your teeth, your microbiome, and nutrition. And it’s all related to brain health and performance.
I’m excited to welcome @DrDominikNischwitz to our show today. Dr. Dome is a pioneer in the fields of holistic and biological dentistry, and is the Vice President of the International Society of Metal-Free Implantology. He’s also the bestselling author of the book, It’s All in Your Mouth: Biological Dentistry and the Surprising Impact of Oral Health on Whole Body Wellness.
Your dental and oral health are directly related to your overall brain and body health. That’s why it’s important to look at your teeth as an extension of your brain. Listen in as Dr. Dome talks about how your teeth can contribute to myriad health issues, and reveals simple things you can do to improve your overall well-being today.

Use fluoride-free toothpaste with natural ingredients for daily brushing.
Avoid chemical mouthwashes that disrupt the oral microbiome.
Consider coconut oil pulling for its oral health benefits.
Practice tongue scraping with a copper tongue scraper to combat bad breath.
Consistency in these oral care practices is key to maintaining oral and overall health.

Hi Jim, You do great service to humanity with the Brain coaching. Diabetic people tend to feel brain fogging fatigued and loose focus. Can you please come up a video on the same how Diabetic people can work on their own Brain out of fatigue and fogging while you do have many videos but if you could take up specific for diabetic people.

Tongue scraping removes biofilm on the tongue. I love tongue scraping!
Flossing or interproximal cleaning does the same thing to help reduce bad bacteria.
Oil pulling will not be able to disrupt biofilm in between the teeth. Only floss, interdental brush or water irrigator can break into the biofilm. Cleaning in between the teeth is essential for oral health.
Fluoride can be found in our saliva. Proper use of fluoride toothpaste can help prevent cavities.

Dentistry needs to fall under health care. They are both intertwined. Keeping it separate. Makes it impossible for at least 1/3 of the population.

I got given peroxide mouth wash , as had bleeding gums, floss and clean , so happy to try the coconut oil treatment, I don’t have any fillings. But the dentist insisted on the bad mouth wash😮 Thank you for the brilliant advice, ❤

There are lots of options. Coconut is just one, traditionally sesame seed oil is used, olive oil and if you're a lady don't do it during your time of the month if creates a vacuum that actually pulls your uterus upwards. Dr. Deepa Apte founder of Ayurveda Pura has done lectures on this. Look at Dr. Tung's oil pulling concentrate, Terra & Co. , living libations swishes and Banyan Botanicals. You can even use triphala, just a spoon in hot water and swish it helps with receding gums.

What was the protocol that the doctor required to get your body ready for surgery and in the months after? Was it supplements or diet? Can you share the detailed protocol with where we can find the various nutrients?
