  • Welcome back to the channel! It has been such a busy season and the garden is producing better than it ever has before!
Today we're doing harvesting lots of different things from the garden and getting ready for winter. The weather this summer has been optimal for growing and the garden is abundant.
This is the third harvest of the season and there are still many more to go. Potatoes and corn are just around the corner from being ready and before we know it, it'll be time to shut the garden down for the season!
Stay tuned to see what else we get up to before the end of the season!
Thanks for watching and I'll see you on the next one!

Wow you’ve saved a lot of money growing your own vegetables and I’m betting that your garden foods are a lot better tasting than those store bought ones too

A great garden. My wife and I used to put out a garden every year. It's a lot of work, but when it comes time to harvest it pays off. They say you reap what you sow, and it's easy to see you all put a lot of hard work and effort into your garden.

Make yourself a hoop cage over top.and use a shade cloth that still.lets light in. Keeps cucumbers nice n cool and less stress on plants and lots room to still navigate underneath

My comment is how much I loved and appreciated great parenting. Your time with your daughter is priceless. She will grow up gardening and caring for animals with the proper understanding of the "Why?" Awesome harvest and amazing memories❤

Amazing harvest. Glad to see your helper involved in the process, such an important thing that is so often missed out on these days. Congrats on being a great parent as well as the harvest.

Great video! July, August, and September are the best months for local produce in Ontario. I am at my local farm every 2-3 days. Those large zucchinis are good for relish and bread/muffins like you said.

With zucchini, you can freeze dry it and then shred it to powder (zucchini flour). Then add to bread recipe, makes it it better bread without flavor.

The garden looks amazing, but I’ve been wondering where you have gone because there’s been no updates for at least a month, so been wondering if you did plant some late veg or what’s been going on with the house and the cabin?

This is something I have experienced myself and scientifically proved.
Whenever you're out in your Garden, ALWAYS be totally barefoot because our soles love and deserve that freedom. They love to feel various textures of soil between their toes. Apart from n it's very healthy to be barefoot outside.
Take for example two plants, one grown inside a pot and tge other grown in Nature. However much you water and use fertilizer, it never looks as healthy as the latter. This is simply because the roots have a limited space to stread and the Nurishment too is the same.
The soles of our feet are like the roots of a tree. When you're not barefoot that natural process is obstructed. Our soles are designs to absorb things which are essential to lead a healthy lifestyle. However, use of footwear deprives this process. Apart from that there are a large number of Sensors / Nerve endings on the soles of our feet, which connects from head to toe. When we walk on Sand, Gravel and Tiny Stones /Pebbles,our entire body gets stimulated through these sensors. Once again Footwear deprives this natural process.
So, go barefoot always for good health and happy feet and soles.
