This is a great video! I’ve been wanting to do a planted/jungle style scape for my future 210 aquarium. Every beautiful planting scape always only has tetras or butterflies. Seeing your scape with Parrots, electric blues and other semi-aggressive fish is AWESOME!!! You’ve opened up the possibilities now 😁

Hi there, your 210 is awesome!!! Your 'scape is beautiful!!! Your livestock is ideal for the tank. Thanks for sharing. I've always wanted a large tank. My biggest was a 40 gal. when I was a teenager the rest of the time they've been 10's. None at the moment. I live vicariously through you. Before I go, FYI: Ankara is the capital city of Turkey. Your blue fish are Acaras. Thanks again. Keep a clean tank.

I feel your pain. I have 20 Buenos Aires tetra in my 55 gallon and they eat any anubias plants that I add to the tank. They leave the sword plant and crypt alone though. I added some octopus plant which grows extremely fast and they now eat on it which is fine with me. I really like your 240 setup.

Cool vid and setups! I had 220gallon fresh planted which I converted to mixed reef. I kind of miss my old setup. The thing I miss the most is the green plants and escaping. I was really proud of my setup. It house about over 200 small to medium fish.
I'm slowly thinking switching back to freshwater. I see you using kessil tuna sun in you system. Is it strong enough to reach the bottom to grow lush green grass. I used 3x250watt metal helide and 4 x 39" HO T5.
Takashi Amano was and still is my inspiration for planted tanks.
I'm subbing to your channel to see what you do next.

Beautiful planted tank. I like the fish you selected for the 210. I guess the best way to work around algae is doing frequent water changes and scrubbing the glass. Planted tanks at some point suffer from all sorts algae. Nice video though.

On my 90 gallon I crafted a pvc piece with a hose connector that sits over the tank. It can only drain to my holes on the pipe so even if I walk away it will only drain so far. Hard to explain but I could email a picture or if you are on facebook I can message a picture.

I think chemiclean is a 48hrs after treatment then water change. I love it I went round and round with cy bacteria in a 5gl tank and within 2 days it was gone or on the way out. Definitely try to solve the issue as to why you are getting it in the first place.

With that big tank you shouldnt have to do water changes at all. Give it 2 more years, try other light sources and keep the water fresh with high volume of air. My tank is a 3 year old setup, 140L only on a 1000L/h external filter and an air pump. I never do water changes. I just top it up to the level required every week. Once a month I wipe the glass and thats it. Never do anything else. Twice a year I clean the filter and I "hoover" the gravel gently. No algae, clear water, healthy plants and fish. But the tank is stunning and enjoyed the video. 🙂
