Kindle unlimited has all my favorite magazines. Reading just two magazines out of the several I read monthly covers the cost of the monthly subscription. Prime reading does not always carry the magazine I want. It might be cheaper to buy an annual physical subscription, but those tend to pile up in my home and are not as travel friendly. For me, the kindle unlimited is worth it. Great video! Loving these more in-depth kindle videos.
I bought my Kindle oasis (10th generation) about a week ago and it's one of the best purchases I've made in a very long time, I was tired of my paper books taking up space at home now I don't have that problem anymore I can have almost all the books I want in the same little tablet And I had a very high budget for reading every month but now it costs me zero, I have almost all the e-books that exist for free Even books that came out recently, I just have to download them and transfer them to my kindle and then it's over
KU is great for magazines and for genre reading. I find a lot of good books through recommendations from others on KU. It is well worth it for genre fiction I won’t reread. For books I plan to reread or reference, I will buy those so I can refer back to them time and time again. I agree that Prime Reading has a great selection and have enjoyed that as well.
My Kindle Unlimited only allows me 10 books. I like it though. Haven't found much in Prime reading plus finding Prime reading is a pain. Your Kindle videos are very helpful.
I am actually finding good books through KU. It doesn't have all the books I want to read, but it is getting me to try out other books that so far I have enjoyed.
Worst possible collection: both for audible and kindle unlimited. To me, subscribing to Kindle Unlimited is just a waste. I had been subscribing for around 6 months, and I regretted my wrong decision.
I like kindle unlimited because it has classics and I've always wanted to read more classics. However, I found a library in Fort Lauderdale FL that gives you an online card and you can use it on libby, you don't even have to be a Florida resident!! I might cancel KU for this reason lol. I get all my books on Libby from there and they have 52K kindle books!
Love my Kindle Unlimited subscription. My read-for-fun genres are heavy in sci-fi, mysteries and westerns. There are a lot of choices and I can dip into books and don't feel the need to finish them if they disappoint, unlike books I would have paid for otherwise. Overall, it has been a huge money-saver. Now and then I find keepers that I have read/will read several times and will pay the purchase price, both because I want the insurance in case it falls off KU and to reward the author for quality work. I check out the Prime Reading offers when I get the monthly notices but it's not often that I am interested. Sometimes they prime the pump and I will follow-on with a search but It's not something I would pay extra for, nor would I miss it if it went away. For the books I buy that are not on KU, I usually know what I'm looking for.
i recently canceled my ku subscription but got to keep one book i hadn't finished yet. I'm not sure if this is a bug or ir it will just automaticaly return when i finish it. Great video keep up the good work!
Im having problems with actually liking the books im purchasing and I think thats what i like about KU. If I actually want to buy the real book I can check it out first because I too love to reread a good book but only if its good which lately they haven't been... but with KU I can read a few chapters and know if a book is for me :)
When I was using a kindle I never used prime reading or kindle unlimited because in severely sight impaired so it take me ages to read a book so it wouldn't be any good for me to a time limit so I just prefer to purchase the books I like.
Publishing a book soon? That sounds awesome. Kinda crazy how if you pick Amazon, you can't have it anywhere else. I don't know much about publishing but knowing Amazon is so big, it seems fine. // Prime Reading includes most classics, which is really helpful and nice for me (using a shared prime account!). Personally, I would rather purchase a book than use Kindle Unlimited as some months I am busier than others and so wouldn't be able to make full use of the entire library selections. Plus the Limited Time Deals often fall on books I'd like to read (99p... student life is getting me down...)
I’ve had KU for 6 months free bc I bought two Kindles under promo. I’ve enjoyed a few nonfiction books on my hobby (running) on KU, but now the well has run dry. The fiction on there is rubbish. I won’t be subscribing.
I haven't taken the leap to pay for Kindle Unlimited yet. Maybe if they include access to the entire catalogue of books rather than the limited options that they have.
It is the publishers that choose whether they want their books to be on Kindle Unlimited. They definitely are not going to choose that when the commission payments from Kindle unlimited are less than what they can get from publishing stand alone. If everything was available on Kindle Unlimited, that would kill innovation and variety in the book market and we would likely be restricted to an endless progression of mediocre Romance, horror and crime books.
The catalog of books for fiction in Kindle Unlimited is terrible. If you like good fiction from published authors, you won’t find any of them with KU. Try the trial for a month, you will see. I would rather put my money towards picking up awesome books that appear regularly on the daily deals - often for less than $3.

Amazon Prime is $140.00 (USD) + tax here in the US. Unlimited should already be part of it, not as a separate subscription.
I forgot they raised the price recently :(
Agreed

I share my account with my mom and she reads like crazy… kindle unlimited pays for itself
That's nice, that is a nice thing that you do for your mom.
My Kindle Unlimited only allows me 10 books. I like it though. Haven't found much in Prime reading plus finding Prime reading is a pain. Your Kindle videos are very helpful.
You can borrow 20 books at a time, but you can read as many books as you can per month.
It's definitely worth it!! Best $10 I can spend
I am actually finding good books through KU. It doesn't have all the books I want to read, but it is getting me to try out other books that so far I have enjoyed.
I love prime reading!!!
Worst possible collection: both for audible and kindle unlimited. To me, subscribing to Kindle Unlimited is just a waste. I had been subscribing for around 6 months, and I regretted my wrong decision.
Right, all the good books are not in the KU service, is a scam, Siphen King and Brandon Sanderson's books are not in the service so don't buy it
I only get it when is 3 months for $9 or something like that. There are some good books there, but a LOT that are low quality.

What’s the name of that library in Ft. Lauderdale? I use to live in Ft. Lauderdale 3 yrs ago
Great content!!! A lot of value on your videos!!!
Good luck with the book!
Thank you, Robert! So excited to share it :D

Glad to hear KU is working well for you. For certain genres, it can save you a lot of money. Thanks so much for sharing your experience.
i recently canceled my ku subscription but got to keep one book i hadn't finished yet. I'm not sure if this is a bug or ir it will just automaticaly return when i finish it. Great video keep up the good work!
Mangas are being added to kindle unlimited lately and I'm loving it
Why not just use the library?
you should do an update on this video. Are you still using it? My Mom cancelled hers since non of her favourite authors were on Kindle Unlimited
Not using it! Most of the books I’d want to read aren’t on KU
It’s like a library subscription

It’s not a time limit on how long you can have the books just the amount at a time which is 20 now

Bro, you need to give us a beard routine
Bro “first reads” is an amazing feature. But is it available in India. I’m not able to find it yet.
Didn't know we can have a free book each month, thanks a lot!
Also very curious about why kindle ans kobo always have the same books on sale?
Probably has something to do with the publishers making their books on a sale on all platforms. Not unique to just Amazon or Kobo
Kobo does price match books to Amazon or other retailers so someone could’ve reported the sale or they already knew about it!

i feel kindle unlimited was just a part of prime.. 😒 but this is why i miss Oyster books!
So far, Kindle unlimited had not hsf any of the books I have been looking for. Such a waste.
