Well you should not propose if there is a chance your partner will say no or...want to get away from you? These things should be discussed ahead of time and communication is key! Talk about how far into the relationship would you consider marrying the person, and by the time you have reached that amount of time, if you don't both know for certain that you are with your forever, you should not be together anymore
There is no plus to doing it on the plane. Why does he think sharing this moment with a load of strangers is good in any way? Being sat in economy for hours is also terrible. Like you said, they were on their way to BALI! How many nice secluded spots are there he could have done this at a sunset with a bottle of wine. My husband proposed in the middle of an NYC park. People stopped to watch, take pictures and videos of us. Naturally an awkward person with an aversion to PDA, I hollered out "he's getting on my health insurance!" then proceeded to match his one-knee kneel by getting down on two knees and hunching over so he was still taller than me. Never wanted a fancy proposal. So my husband proposed to me on our 10th anniversary, while I was sitting on the floor eating spicy noodles in my PJs. Perfect proposal!
My personal favourite moments from this video: 1. The husband of the prone-overreactive cousin dragging her and holding her mouth at 5:13 2. Getting mesmerised by one of the cutest animals whilst on the job at 5:51 3. Ryan's comment at 7:18 😂😂 so true - also, couldn't think of anywhere worse to propose than an aeroplane 4. And the very last clip because of the laugh alone 🤣😅
01:15 basically human nature. She was alternating her choice top, then bottom, then top, everytime because subconsciously we don’t want to pick the same thing twice even though she has to assume the choices are different each time. All you had to do was not alternate the position of the wedding pick once. Either that or tell her that there’s only one new choice everytime. It would make her more inclined to pick the choice she didn’t pick the previous time. 🤔🤷🤣
Literally right after watching this, immediately after the "too hot, too hot, too hot" end, a commercial came in for some 'Rest' comforter with a woman saying "are you a HOT sleeper?" 😂
My dad proposed to my mom in a mall. He cleft her at the fountain to go get them a drink from the food court...but instead, he picked up the ring from the jewelers. He came back, proposed, and Mom was silent. Someone in the crowd called out "Just answer the man!" and the first thing out of her mouth was "Where's my Orange Julius?" ... they've been married 46 years.
Awww I LOVED the one on the beach! She was so sweet and excited, doing her little zoomies!!! I want a follow up in 50 years of them as an adorable old couple together ❤
I had my wife pick out her ring. At the time, I didn't have a lot of money, I had just gotten on my feet, and had been homeless/living in my car when she and I started dating. When I bought the ring, it was the most expensive thing I'd ever bought in my life. I had this whole grand proposal planned out, was going to have a close friend of mine come to town and help me orchestrate this whole thing in downtown DC around the monuments and stuff. Well, she and I went to the jeweler to pick up the ring when it was ready (sizing and whatnot), and just having the thing in my posession stressed me out to the point I almost had a panic attack walking out to the car. I had to excuse myself to 'run to the restroom' to get a grip on myself. I was so worried I was going to lose or damage this ring... Anyway, we got to the car, and I took the box out of my pocket and looked at her, stared blankly for a minute and she gets all attitudinal and asks "What?!"... I hand it to her, and I'm still so disappointed in myself for not finding better words. I handed her the box and said "Here, this is your problem now." And that's how we got engaged.
😂😂😂 my son was so nervous too. They stopped at a gas station and he pulled his wallet out and the ring fell on the floor. But he wouldn’t have left without it. My husband was nervous too. He didn’t say anything, just pulled out the ring and handed it to me! Kinda makes me chuckle still
My brother and his fiancée had a great proposal; it was public, but not TOO public. We went to a little cliffside hiking place in Colorado, he brought a bunch of their friends (including her brother) and my parents brought drinks and snacks and fall-themed decorations. Along the trail were little spots to sit and look out at the beautiful scenery, and we picked a spot that was a close enough walk from the parking lot (so that the couple didn't get all sweaty and dirty before pictures) but far enough away to not raise suspicion from the bride to be. Funny enough, right before we set up there was a couple taking wedding photos. So it felt like the right place to do it! I love my future sister in law, and they're set to get married in about 2 years time (they got engaged about 2 years ago) once she gets her Master's. I'm so proud and excited for them!
On an airplane flight is probably top five worst places you could possibly propose. What if they say no? You have nowhere to go, you can't escape, you're just stuck there for however long your flight is.
toni "ill protect you" awwwwwwwww you two are friend goals man. im 51 and ive never seen a proposal in real life either. and ive been married twice. was not proposed too either time. it just sorta seemed right. first lasted 5 years and we split, hes now married with 5 or 6 kids , good for him :) the second 26 and counting. we just said, weve been together 7 years, we dont want to considered common law married so we went to the courthouse and made it official. TOO HOT!!!
Aaaw this was way more wholesome than I expected! :D And yes, the "bro won in life"-one was amazing!!!!! I had the biggest smile over my face the entire time during this video.
The women who walked past the proposal to put on comfy clothes is a keeper. She isn't expecting it and she just wants to comfy. Forget the diamond ring where are my slippers?
Okay wait! Stopped the video at the 6:15 mark. WTF did Toni see in Kentucky?? HA!!! Squeeeeeeerrrll ? What? I'm sorry I'm sorry! But that made me laugh out loud.
My fiance proposed to me on our front porch while we were listening to our song a week before our daughters first birthday and also proposed on Father’s Day 🥺 sweetest moment ever
I walked in front of someone's proposal video once, but to be fair, I was walking with a crowd of people on a busy walkway at an event at the zoo and had no idea what they were doing until it was too late. They decided to do it right in the path during a lull instead of off to the side somewhere, and then we all came trudging along, so I do feel bad, but not completely bad. They looked like a sweet couple. I hope they're still happy together!
I witnessed (interrupted) a proposal once. Dude gave me a horrible dirty look. but in my defense it was in the parking lot of a poorly lit gas station. Like I just opened my car door to get out and stepped right into it. 😭 that is not my bad man. That’s on you. 😂
I got proposed to at Disney Land. My now husband asked the workers who take the photos of families in front of the castle where he could propose so that we would not interrupt everyone else. I know this because I got mad like why tf is he cutting the LINE! No, we did it off to the side out of everyone's way I think literally only two people actually saw him do it besides my family. I appreciated it so much bc I know how expensive it was for us to go and others payed just as much if not MORE so it worked so beautifully in no one's way and not crazy a private moment for him and I.
Newly subscribed. Loving your channel guys. My hubby proposed in public and I hated it. 😂 It forced me to say yes. Not that I didn’t love him but we’d been together 13 years already and I didn’t see the point.
Destination wedding. We live-streamed our wedding and my mum did JUST like that mum. She stood right in front of the camera. And my daughter had to try to whisper for her to get out of the way. Our friends back home kept commenting on that part.
I got a public proposal once. It was cringe. I said yes because I was embarrassed. It was their first public engagement so I’m pretty sure our picture is still hanging on their wall. Fast forward 6 weeks & his true plan was revealed. He then kidnapped me & attempted to unalive me. I HATE public proposals.
Totally with you Toni. I told my, now fiancé that if he ever proposed then i didnt want an audience. He proposed with a haribo ring, on a walk during COVID in 2020, on a grassy area overlooking the sea. It was lovely and quiet. But when we told my Dad where he proposed, he informed us that the land was old refuse land 🙈. Now my fiancé tells people he proposed to me on at a rubbish tip 😂. A month later when shops opened we went to collect the ring he had ordered a week before lockdown, but i still have my original haribo ring and hope to frame it!
Give me a proposal at home on a random Tuesday when we’re just hanging around the house in our comfies… no pomp and circumstance… Although I COMPLETELY feel the chick that had to get her zoomies out!!! I tend to “get flappy” when over excited… just arms flying everywhere… usually a weird noise coming from my mouth…it’s not photogenic in the least. so yeah, I get it. 😂
I've seen a grand total of 3 proposals happen in my proximity. 1 was my sister-- good for her-- and the other two were people at a convention I go to almost every year. The sweetest one I saw was the third, and it's because they were in a couples cosplay and they proposed at a photo meet up. So sweet. But I have not seen a proposal rejection yet.
3:43 So relatable 😂 the first thing I do when I get home is grabbing my Oodie😂 I don't care if it's hot, I love my comfy clothes😂 if the Oodie is too warm, then I'll just change into less clothes underneath it😂

2. Getting mesmerised by one of the cutest animals whilst on the job at 5:51
3. Ryan's comment at 7:18 😂😂 so true - also, couldn't think of anywhere worse to propose than an aeroplane
4. And the very last clip because of the laugh alone 🤣😅
They are proof that guys and girls can be best friends😂
That one would be me filming the raccoon and miss the important thing 🤣🤣🤣
Omg I have never laughed so hard!! It the way Toni says Squirrel for me 😂😂😂😂😂!!!
The seriousness and dread in Toni's voice when the guy on the plane said to stand up "no, sit down."
The airplane proposal was so cringe! Gah! 😂
Skweerul. Putting that in my vocabulary.
Literally right after watching this, immediately after the "too hot, too hot, too hot" end, a commercial came in for some 'Rest' comforter with a woman saying "are you a HOT sleeper?" 😂
When I tell you I fast forwarded through the airplane proposal lmfao 😂
Imagine Toni, an Aussie Lass, getting frightened over a cute little Kentuckian squirrel...😮
I handed her the box and said "Here, this is your problem now."
And that's how we got engaged.
😂😂😂 my son was so nervous too. They stopped at a gas station and he pulled his wallet out and the ring fell on the floor. But he wouldn’t have left without it. My husband was nervous too. He didn’t say anything, just pulled out the ring and handed it to me! Kinda makes me chuckle still
I could listen to Toni say squirrel all day 😂
My brother and his fiancée had a great proposal; it was public, but not TOO public.
2:24 I love that photo of actor Zach Braff photobombing a wedding photo on the street.😂
I love failed wedding proposals ❤😂
5:06 Legion! 😂 He's not just a hubby, he's a bro 😂
You flew to Paris to propose… And you brought your mom!? *Red Flag Alert*
Dang I didn't think of that. That's so true
So true. She shouldn't even be there.
I think that was her mum
Maybe it was a family trip.
Some people want their families there for the proposal
I actually think Toni and Ryan are my favourite people ❤
I was NOT ready for how Tony pronounced squirrel 🤣🤣🤣
I walked in front of someone's proposal video once, but to be fair, I was walking with a crowd of people on a busy walkway at an event at the zoo and had no idea what they were doing until it was too late. They decided to do it right in the path during a lull instead of off to the side somewhere, and then we all came trudging along, so I do feel bad, but not completely bad. They looked like a sweet couple. I hope they're still happy together!
The last one had me in tears, the scream 😂
I witnessed (interrupted) a proposal once. Dude gave me a horrible dirty look. but in my defense it was in the parking lot of a poorly lit gas station. Like I just opened my car door to get out and stepped right into it. 😭 that is not my bad man. That’s on you. 😂
"Saur a squeeral" 😂❤
every time yall said "too hot" high pitched, i thought you were quoting the end of the song "HOT HOT HOT" LOL too good
The woman and her dog 😂😂 her awkward smile like "hey"
"¡AH! ¡Aye, Miguel! ¡MIGUEEEL!" 😂
I love how Toni says "squirrel".😂
my only request for being proposed to was that it wasn’t public. the airplane one woulda killeddd me 😂
I got proposed to at Disney Land.
That second one, the proposal on the cards, she 100% could see the ring shadow through the card with the lightening 😅 and avoided that at all cost!!
You two are THE best ❤😂
Her realization at the beginning at the badge 😂
Edit - LOL @ her delayed reaction to “too hot”, too.
Was the proposal cards thing real? I mean, she was under a hairdryer with dry and messy hair and it wasn’t on… just a thought 😂
Yeah, there's no way that bs wasn't staged.
I thought the same thing
I got a public proposal once. It was cringe. I said yes because I was embarrassed. It was their first public engagement so I’m pretty sure our picture is still hanging on their wall. Fast forward 6 weeks & his true plan was revealed. He then kidnapped me & attempted to unalive me. I HATE public proposals.
I read through the comments and knew the plane proposal was coming but my god, that gave me so much second hand embarrassment
A squee-rull? Squee-rull?! What an amazing way to say that. LOL!
When my husband knelt down to propose to me, I asked "What the fuck are you doing" before I realized 😂😂😂 thank god nobody else was around.
I’ve not only seen a proposal, but I stood with the photographer and filmed it. Ending up sending it to the couple :) it was really sweet.
I’m so obsessed with the way Australians sai squirrel like squeee rill
The way you say squirrel is amazing.
6:08 omg a WHAT?! Lmao sorry had to, the way she says squirrel 🐿️ is so cute I guess I’ve never heard someone say it with an Australian accent 😂👏
Everyone from America hearing Toni say "squirrel": 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Give me a proposal at home on a random Tuesday when we’re just hanging around the house in our comfies… no pomp and circumstance…
Although I COMPLETELY feel the chick that had to get her zoomies out!!! I tend to “get flappy” when over excited… just arms flying everywhere… usually a weird noise coming from my mouth…it’s not photogenic in the least. so yeah, I get it. 😂
Got proposed to on a mountain so he could get a drone shot of it all, he was so nervous that he forgot to record 😂
3:43 So relatable 😂 the first thing I do when I get home is grabbing my Oodie😂 I don't care if it's hot, I love my comfy clothes😂 if the Oodie is too warm, then I'll just change into less clothes underneath it😂
New fear unlocked: someone fake proposes to me and I think it’s real 😂
