I'm at silver 2. I was at 3 but 2 straight JP's beat me down. I'm not playing ranked again until I learn how to beat JP. Now I need to learn Rashid too.

Hell I had to fight 2 Master lvl players in my placement matches with Kimberly.
He was legit master rank this morning. Haha. I'm pretty sure he was the first to get Master with Rashid.

Capcom has already confirmed that Rashid is actually broken
By nature of having plus on block moves he beats 90% of the cast
Also has a couple of bugs/exploits. The level 2 you can walk with it and the tornado doesn't disappear causing huge chip damage.
He completely STOMPS on Zangief and Manon. Just the fact that his mobility and frame data gives him huge advantage in most situations is damning.

I just started my first real street fighter adventure 3 weeks ago. Before I just played some rounds of SFIV and like 10 rounds of 5 but never online. And never commited to a main.😅
Play with Chun Li now in Classic and lost too a Rashid with Modern Controls. Played three sets and lost all of them. First thing that came to my mind was that he feels way OP. Like not good balanced. I mean it is a weird combination to give Rashid so many tools to cover the whole arena and at the same time he is also so damn fast. At least he should be a bit slower or weaker so that it not feels to crazy. And to top all of this he also can slide like half the arena on the ground although he is already a beast in the air.
So let me say from my noobie perspective. Some balance things I don't get in Street Fighter yet.
Some characters feel like a nightmare to play against. One of them is JP for me and the other one is Gief.
The million dollar man right here. I had to pick my jaw off the ground when I tried out and saw how many air actions he got.
Dude has it all. Great PDR, has projectiles, can skip neutral, has every mobility tool from every character ever and has plus frames out the ass.
Good way to get nerfed
He does low damage though so I doubt he'll be nerfed.
His air gimmicks aren't as scary as I thought.
You can't easily make people guess if you'll land in front or behind like I thought.
It's pretty obvious to know where he'll land once in the air. He doesn't have the control in the air Blanka has oddly enough. What I mean by that is he can land in front or cross you up more easily than Rashid can.

I have already played thru his character guide and combo trials! One of my favorite characters so far other than Manon. There's an Air Grab by the way.

Im at Gold 5 with Manon and almost Platinum 1 with a couple matches left. Platnium was my goal from the beginning and never ranked that high in street fighter and im almost there to reach my goal. I fought a rashid and totally obliterated me and i have a feeling this damn character is gonna keep me from reaching my goal. Great timing for rashid to arrrive lol

The problem I have with him is that he escapes pressure too easily with a blocked eagle spike, it pushes him too far when he should be closer and negative but you know how dlc characters go……

Chun-li main here I been playing Rashid yesterday and I suck with him lose about 5 times in a row cuz I'm not used to him since I play Chun-li more but win or lose I'm having fun with him when I'm moving around in air or on ground I need to get used to him cuz I also mess up his combos
