Ehh... You know that those suitcase recordplayers use the very same tonearm as this one? It's the model FU-700 tonearm made by Hanpin/Skywin. So the performance is more or less the same as with the Crosley suitcase recordplayers. These LP60 recordplayers just look a bit nicer, that's all.
Qorax definitely not, the sound is so much better. i used to have a crosley & it's a really bad player. blabla. atlp60x is sm better bcs the sound is clear, it's automatic, and the tone arm is not the same. the atlp60x is so much expensive.

But it depends if you have the money to spend on a higher quality active speaker with the rca wires or not. Bluetooth one is only better for convenience, otherwise they're both just as good. Speakers are the only vital addition to your turntable audio setup since these kind of turntables already have a built-in preamp, opposed to buying that separately with your turntable and speakers, so the Speakers will highly affect the type of sound you'll get out of your turntable.

Others had a 1½ center inch hole which became the most popular design in the USA. The puck slips onto the ¼ inch spindle hub so that a record with a 1½ hole can be played on it. By the way, I came across your video because searching to remember how all of the packaging materials go back together perfectly with the LP60. I needed to do a "reverse unboxing" to return one to an ebay seller. I had to slow down the parts you speeded up so I could really see how to put everything back perfectly. 😂

hello i'm a beginner &this is probably a stupid question but why does the sound quality of a vinyl player matter when the sound ultimately plays on the separate speakers? when the sound quality instead depends on the quality of the speakers used? is my understanding right- get a good vinyl player for the build quality and get good speakers for the sound quality?
Both the turn table and the speakers (as well as any external pre-amps or amps) both have a big impact on the sound quality. (Although build quality matters too, and can contribute to the sound quality.) If you have great speakers but a bad turn table, it won't sound nearly as good as with a good turn table, and vise versa. :)
I saw heaps of peoples reviews about the skipping which made me really nervous about it, but mine is completely fine! It plays like a charm and sounds amazing! ♡

Does it allow you to lift the needle by yourself or you have to push the bottom every time you need to lift the arm needle? And same with setting the arm needle down, you can't manually set it down yourself but you have to push the button for the arm to drop down and play?

I'm so happy with my Audio-Technica AT-LP60XBT - minor issue but a VERY small number of modern 180g repressing vinyls skip a bit. Anyone else experience this? I am guessing it's an issue with these specific records rather than the player because LP60XBT plays all old records perfectly, and most of my modern 180g vinyls too. I guess these records that skip are just poor pressings?

Hi! If you're using the built in speakers, you can't control the volume, and it's not very loud, but when you connect it to speakers, you're able to hear it louder :) the sound is more crisp and "vintage" when you listen on a record player 😊

That red ribbon is wrapped around rubber tape that you’re supposed to loop around that gold thing (according to the instructions).

you can lift it around by yourself if you'd like to play any songs in the middle! but you will have to press start to drop the arm down to play 😊
