We can't seem to get our turntable connected with our Amazon echo. We paired it with a small bluetooth speaker but we'd like it paired to the Alexa speaker. Is that not possible? Or is there a reason why it's not showing up in our bluetooth device list when we try to pair it?
Hi Abby! The Echo should be compatible, try resetting the Bluetooth on the turntable. Turn your device and any other devices that have ever been paired to the turntable off (power them down), then reset the Bluetooth on the turntable by doing the following. Without the turntable being in the pairing mode (the indicator light on the turntable should be solid red), press and hold down the Bluetooth button on the turntable for about 5-8 seconds. You will see the light flash red and blue rapidly back and forth as it does when it goes into the pairing mode, but keep holding the button down until you see the light blink just RED slowly - twice, then the light will go back to flashing red and blue. It may take up to a minute or so to see the light blink just RED twice. Once the light goes back to flashing red and blue, you may let go of the button. Wait for the flashing red and blue light to time out, at which time it will go back to being solid red. This may take up to a minute or so to occur. Once the light is solid red, the Bluetooth function has been reset. Now short press the button again to put the turntable into pairing mode (red/blue). Turn your Echo on and put it into its pairing mode. Do the turntable and the Echo pair now?

Hi there! The ribbon is not absolutely necessary. The belt comes preinstalled around the drive rim on the bottom of the aluminum record platter. I'm so happy with my Audio-Technica AT-LP60XBT - minor issue but a VERY small number of modern 180g repressing vinyls skip a bit. Anyone else experience this? I am guessing it's an issue with these specific records rather than the player because LP60XBT plays all old records perfectly, and most of my modern 180g vinyls too. I guess these records that skip are just poor pressings?
This player has no anti skate adjustments, not much you can do unfortunately other then try a different cartridge that maybe has better tracking, but as there is little to no adjustments for the tone arm you need to make sure the cartridge you get has the same weight and tracking force specs. This turn table is really great for the entry level. But it’s missing some really great features that a grown up turn table should have. Instead they put some features that make listening more convenient. So it’s great for people who just want to listen and make it easy as hell. So it I get the BT version, I don’t have to use it as if it as Bluetooth version? Does it come with the cables to do do? Great review! Also, it’s for my 24 year daughter, that has never had a TT
Correct - it does not have to be used as a Bluetooth turntable, it can be used as a wired turntable instead. The turntable comes with a cable that has dual RCA plugs (one Red, one White) on the end of it for connecting the turntable to a device. Most devices have corresponding dual RCA jacks on them for making the connection. If your device does not have the corresponding dual RCA jacks but has a single 3.5mm audio in type jack instead, you can use an AUX cable that has a single 3.5mm male stereo plug on each end of it to connect the turntable. Thanks! - A-T USA
Is there a repeat setting for playback? It did it a few times on its own and now I wish it would do it again. Is that an actual function on this or was it a fluke?
I am trying to set this up however 1. The turntable goes round and round when plugged in and will not turn off and I have pushed the STOP button. 2. The turntable make a noise as it rotates??? That doesn't seem right??? 2. I have attempted multiple times to connect blue tooth to my iphone12 Promax and nada...however it does pair with my bose speaker.
From what I just read we want to use the LINE switch to use when we need to use the included pre-amp correct? What should that be set to when using bluetooth devices? Thanks so much!
Hi, i just bought it today. Newbie here so i have a question. Im using presonus e3.5 with this, do i need a receiver or ampli? For the better quality. Or just using Aux
Hi there! You do not a receiver or amplifier, the PreSonus e3.5 is an active monitor meaning it has an amplifier built into it. Just connect the turntables provided audio cable to the unbalanced RCA inputs on the back of the active speaker, set the phono preamp selector switch on the back of the turntable to the LINE position, and you are good to go. Alternatively, you can connect the turntable to the AUX input on the front of the active speaker, but you will need to use the 1.5M 1/8” TRS stereo cable provided with the speakers to do so. Thanks! - A-T USA
Hi Ryan! You can plug headphones into the 3.5mm stereo Analog Out jack on the back of the turntable if you set the preamp selector switch next to the jack to the LINE position, but the volume will be at a fixed level and only moderately loud. Additionally, the sound quality will not be as good as it would be if you were listening through a separate stereo amplifier or receiver (which contains a power amplifier). For the best results, we recommend either connecting the turntable to a stereo amplifier or receiver or installing a dedicated headphone amplifier between the turntable and the headphones. Please note that we do make a 60 Series turntable, the AT-LP60XHP, which adds the convenience of a front-panel headphone jack with volume control and includes our ATH-250AV headphones. This model does not feature Bluetooth however. Thanks! - A-T USA
Hi there! If the turntable is designed for 120V only, you will need to use a stepdown transformer. Some of our newer turntables come with an inline AC adapter, and in those cases, you would only need a plug adapter. If you need more information, please let us know or contact our Audio Solutions department (audio-solutions@atus.com). - A-T USA

Just bought this, does it not play Audio without connecting it to a speaker or without connecting via Bluetooth? I can hear a tiny tiny bit of sound but not loud enough, or is there a way to turn up the volume?
The stylus will produce a tiny bit of sound when it runs over the grooves in a record (that's what you're hearing), but you need speakers to hear the amplified sound.
Hi there! Both Bluetooth and wired speakers will deliver a great listening experience when used with the AT-LP60XBT. Choosing one or the other is up to your preference, however, a main benefit of the Bluetooth connection is more versatility when it comes to placement. We would recommend the AT-SP65XBT ( www.audio-technica.com/en-us/at-sp65xbt ) as a great speaker as a simple set-up option. Thanks! - A-T USA

Hi! So i just bought this turntable and it plays very well on headphones. However, I bought a JBL Link 10 which connects but does not play the audio. Is there something wrong in the pairing or the speaker? Thanks!
Hi Farrel! The JBL Link 10 has a Play / Pause button the top of the speaker. We’ve found that these Play / Pause buttons can act as mute switches when connected to turntables. While the AT-LP60xBT is connected to the speaker via Bluetooth, if you press that button the audio should start playing from the speaker. Thanks! - A-T USA

Hi Grant! Thank you for your inquiry. This turntable has successfully paired with every speaker that we have tried. A couple of things could be happening. First, if the turntable or speaker are in close proximity to a wifi router that could interfere with the pairing process. Also, other Bluetooth devices in close proximity could as well. I suggest you turn off other Bluetooth devices, move away from or turn off wifi during the pairing process and then reset Bluetooth on the turn table. Resetting the Bluetooth on the AT-LP60XBT and AT-LP120XBT-USB-BK Turntables. 1. Power off your Bluetooth audio device. Turn any other devices that have previously been paired to the turntable off (power them down). 2. Place the turntable and your device within 3 feet of each other. 3.Without the turntable being in the pairing mode (the indicator light on the turntable should be solid red), press and hold down the Bluetooth button on the turntable for about 2 to 3 seconds. You will see the light begin to flash red and blue rapidly back and forth as it does when it goes into the pairing mode. After about 1 to 2 seconds of seeing this, briefly release the button (for about 1 second) then press and hold the button down until you see the light blink just RED slowly - twice, then the light will go back to flashing red and blue. It may take up to a minute or so to see the light blink just RED twice. Once the light goes back to flashing red and blue, you may let go of the button. 4. Wait for the flashing red and blue light to time out, at which time it will go back to being solid red. This may take up to a minute or so to occur. Once the light is solid red, the Bluetooth function has been reset. 5. Power on your device and attempt to pair the turntable it again. Thanks! - A-T USA
I find the bluetooth to be practically useless on mine because of the whole (line of sight) distance thing. within 30 feet my wired speakers are sufficient for good sound. I'd like to be able to listen at the other end of the house though without buying a whole new system.
Hi Megan! The turntable will still continue to spin and track when not connected to a speaker. However there are no built in speakers on the AT-LP60XBT turntable, so there will be no audio output. Thanks! - A-T USA
Hi Benjamin! No you cannot. Both the phone and the turntable are transmit devices and need to pair with a receive device (speaker or headphone). Thanks! - A-T USA
Hi there! While you can, it is not recommended due to the inherent latency (delay) with a Bluetooth signal. The two output signals will not align. Thanks! - A-T USA

Hi, just wondering if you had any advice, my turntable works great except for the fact it crackles with even new records I think the tone arm is bouncing slightly but I don’t know how I can fix this on this model? Any help would be appreciated
Hi Izzy, If you are hearing excessive crackling on records, then this could be a result of static build up. You may want to try wiping down your records with an antistatic brush and wiping down your gear with a dryer sheet, as this will help pull most of the static that could be causing the issues. This static build up is most present in the winter months when the air is dryer. - A-T USA

@@AudioTechnicaUSA so is it ok to just unplug and replug it? Or leave it on?
@@babyboy1971 Hi there. Either option is okay, up to your preference. (: Thanks! - A-T USA
I wish you would consider making an automatic record changer. I can probably make the one I've got last the rest of my life as it is now the same age as I am (54) and it still works fine, but I would like to have the option of having a new one.
Can you also connect your record player with a JBL speaker, for example?
Yes
If it has Bluetooth

I need to be certain: do the Airpods Pro 2 work with the LP60XBT?
Hi there! We suspect that they will pair. You will need to use the volume control on the AirPods PRO 2 to adjust the volume, as there is no volume control on the turntable itself. Thanks! - A-T USA
Do I have to connect this to external speakers in order to get louder audio? Just set up and started playing my record. It has very low volume.
Hi there! Yes, an external speaker is needed. Thanks! - A-T USA
Hello, can I connect my smart phone to the turntable?
Hi there! The turntable will connect to compatible Bluetooth receiving devices such as headphones or speakers. Computers and smartphones are Bluetooth transceiver devices and will not connect to the turntable’s Bluetooth transmitter. Thanks! - A-T USA
I just received mine turntable this weekend and I don't know where is the button to turn off/on.
Hi there! To begin playing the record, press the "start" button, the firsts button located on the right hand side of the turntable. To stop playing the music before completion of the record, press the "stop" button, the center button on the right hand side. Thanks! A-T USA
@@AudioTechnicaUSA thanks for the response. But my commentary wasn't how we could play the vinyl or not. My English isn't perfect and probably I couldn't explain well. The turntable is always on when connected to the electricity, there isn't a button to on/off the turntable, it's always on.
Is it normal for the Bluetooth light to be red when I’m not using turntable? It’s on all the time when turntable is off.
Hi there, yes, this is normal operation. Thanks! - A-T USA
Jim Ward do you unplug it? Because there’s no off button on mine. I guess once you hit stop it is off?
There’s no off button so do I have to unplug it every time
yes
Yeah I don’t know why they didn’t include it. I’ll just get an outlet plug with a switch
It turns off itself when the record is at the end..
My stylus feel off while I was taking off the plastic cover and I can't future out how to get it back attached. Is there a click in or something that I'm missing?
Hi there! In order to install the stylus assembly, you’ll need to mount the stylus to the cartridge, by engaging the body first. Lift the stylus until you hear a click and make sure that there is no gap between the headshell and the cartridge. For additional assistance, feel free to contact our Audio Solutions department via e-mail at audio-solutions@atus.com. - A-T USA
Thanks! - A-T USA

How do you shut off the Bluetooth function on the turntable, and will the Bluetooth light shut off? Thank you
Hi, i just bought it today.
Thanks! - A-T USA
Is there a way to plug in headphones to this turntable?
Or do you need a separate receiver/stereo? Plug the headphones into that?
Thanks! - A-T USA
Does this have a headphone jack?
Is this can use in Thailand with power supply 220 v?
- A-T USA

How is the sound quality when paired with Bose NC Headphones?
Just bought this, does it not play Audio without connecting it to a speaker or without connecting via Bluetooth? I can hear a tiny tiny bit of sound but not loud enough, or is there a way to turn up the volume?
You need speakers to play music...
The stylus will produce a tiny bit of sound when it runs over the grooves in a record (that's what you're hearing), but you need speakers to hear the amplified sound.
I want to get this turntable and pair it with some powered speakers that have Bluetooth or wired. Is there any advantage to wired vs Bluetooth?

Thanks! - A-T USA

Hi I just bought the turntable and my Bluetooth Sony headphones won’t pair with it. Will only specific headphones pair with the turntable?
Thanks!

- A-T USA
