@@gazerew I mean, yes it's kinda stupid, but considering he looks the same, we can assume his gender is something inconsequential to the world, like a 0 turned into a 1 or vice versa in a long string of code (Anonymous;Code seems to support this, but no spoilers)
@gazerew I'm pretty sure vegetables aren't meant to be what causes it literally. It's just that slight changes that far back in time can have big implications. It's the butterfly effect.
An absolute must-watch. The time elements are done right in every way, the characters are very well written, and the jp voice acting gives them amazing emotional depth.
steins;gate is my favorite anime of all time. steins;gate 0 is basically a sequel anime to steins;gate and both are adapted from visual novels (that i still need to check out). it’s a part of an interconnected series of visual novels called SciADV that includes stuff like the Chaos; series. tho jsyk you don’t need to experience the other stuff to watch steins;gate if you just wanna do that
I’m just now starting to realize how deep I was with Steins Gate last summer. I watched the 2011 anime and zero, BOTH 2 TIMES, watched all OVAs and movie AND played the VNs, (which on their own were already like 100 hours) + 2 full Reaction series on UA-cam to both og and zero each! 😮😂
@@pogclipper i do exactly that every once in a while At least once a year As for reaction I do a couple every so often Especially if it is my favorite reactors
@@pogclipper that was basically me around the same time lmao except no vns and one of the reactions was live on twitch and not on youtube and i first watched it like a couple years ago (unless you mean it was a rewatch cos i did also rewatch it on it’s own). i have one of the vns in my steam library i just still haven’t got around to checking it out yet
@@jadedjade64 If it’s the original VN I would recommend playing it whenever you get a Steins;Gate itch again. It was amazing with all the added context and extended plot threads.
Literally the greatest anime i've ever seen. It's fucking absurd how well written it is. This is the best time related anime. It isn't close. It's the only anime I've ever seen that literally has two different valid viewing orders because of what happens in the story and both of them make sense.
If it is Steins;Gate can you please react to the Visual Novel's opening called "Skyclad Observer" This is one is just as if not more iconic than actual anime opening! Especially since they have put it in arguably the best scene in the whole show as its OST. Edit: on that note, S;G0 VN opening is very interesting as well, it's called "Amadeus"
And the other VN openings are good too. There is quite a few of them, with basically every version of the VN getting a new opening. And all of them are songs by Kanako Ito. Sky Clad Observer Hisenkei Geniac A.R. Uchuu Engineer Cosmic Looper
Fun fact: Steins;Gate actually has a lot more ending songs. The endings in this video were the "default" ones for Steins;Gate and Steins;Gate 0. The latter also has a second ending song called "World-Line", that was used for the second half of the show. Besides that, some episodes of both Animes have diffrent endings that use songs from the Visual Novel. The song "Sky Clad Observer" was used in one episode of S;G. The rest of them I don't remember. S;G 0 also has the songs: Amadeus Lyra Hoshi No Kanaderu Uta Gate of Steiner by Eri Sasaki
Surprisingly, you grasped the plot pretty good. It is, indeed about time travel and diffirent realities/timelines. And yes, he indeed broke time. Steins;Gate zero is a sequel/prequel/spin-off... Its difficult to explain without spoilers, but you got the point. Messed up time. Best anime ever.
There is no possible way in the world anyone can guess the plot for this show. . . .but its one of the greatest ever written
One of the best written and executed. You don't see many stories end as strongly as Steins;Gate did.
well, it's not perfectly written, vegetable changing gender gives me cringe every time rewatching, they could have done it diffrently
